LM Chapter 5.3

Morning had come again. Lyndon opened his eyes on the duke’s bed, a place he had now grown accustomed to.
Unlike a typical butler, Lyndon always woke up a little late. Unlike the other servants who started their duties as early as 6 a.m. or a bit later at 7 a.m., Lyndon would lounge lazily in the duke’s bed, waking up as early as 9 a.m. or as late as 10 a.m.
Today was no different. Lyndon opened his eyes at 11 a.m., certain that the spot beside him would be empty. The duke always left Lyndon alone and went off somewhere.
So Lyndon stretched lazily, starting with a big yawn. Then, a voice came from beside him.
“Did you sleep well, Lyndon?”
Turning his stiff neck, he saw the duke lying beside him. Still in his robe, hair disheveled.
“Y-Your Grace?!” Turning his head back to look out the window, the sun was high in the sky. “Wh-what time is it?”
“Eleven o’clock. You slept quite late.”
“Huh, h-huh! I-I’m sorry!”
Lyndon tried to scramble up from the bed. At that moment, Hayley grabbed Lyndon’s wrist and pulled him into his arms. Lyndon rolled into Hayley’s embrace without meaning to. For some reason he couldn’t fathom, Lyndon found himself nestled in Hayley’s warm embrace.
“There’s no need to rush off. Why not have breakfast together?”
“Wh-what? Wh-what? Ah, breakfast!? Meal!?” Lyndon stammered in a flustered response.
“Yes. I hear you quite enjoy eating. Have breakfast with me today, won’t you?”
“But, but! I, I’m lowly, how could I dare to eat with… Your Grace…”
“Don’t say that.”
Saying this, the duke stretched out his hand while lying down and pulled the blanket taut. Then, turning his head back to Lyndon, he pressed his lips lightly to his forehead.
“…”
Lyndon’s face flushed red.
Just then, a light knock sounded from outside. The duke called out to let them in, and a familiar figure entered the bedroom.
“Your Grace, you summoned me?”
It was Alex.
“Where is the butler? Why are you here?”
“The head butler has other duties to attend to, so I came instead.”
“Right. Have breakfast prepared. Bring it here.”
“Yes, I will.”
Alex bowed respectfully to the duke. There was no trace of the rough demeanor he’d shown while talking to Lyndon outside the garden. As he did so, Alex and Linden’s eyes met one last time.
Alex smiled silently, mouthing something without making a sound.
‘Go go.’
Then he walked outside. Lyndon saw this and, as if suddenly realizing something, exclaimed, “Ah!”
“Why, why did you do that, Lyndon?”
“Ah, no, well, that is…”
The day before, Alex had asked Lyndon if the duke used a rubber. When Lyndon said he didn’t know, Alex had urged him to find out, even going so far as to say that if the duke didn’t use a rubber and Lyndon was still walking around perfectly fine like this, it meant the duke truly loved Lyndon.
So last night, even while Lyndon was completely lost in pleasure, he had tried repeatedly to observe whether Hayley used a rubber. But as far as Lyndon could recall, Hayley hadn’t used a condom. Time and again, his back passage had been drenched in Hayley’s hot semen.
Yet now, it was completely dry.
‘Maybe… semen absorbs pretty well?’
Just as that foolish thought crossed his mind, Alex returned once more, placing food on the table in one corner of the bedroom.
Hayley, who had slipped out of bed before Lyndon, wrapped him tightly in the blankets.
“Uh, uh, I, I can walk….”
“Stay still. You’re heavy when you struggle.”
“Ah, that… Yeah…“
Finally, Haley gently placed Lyndon on a chair. Lyndon was a fairly tall man with a substantial build himself, but he couldn’t match the sheer size of Hayley, who was as big as a bear before hibernation.
But the surprises didn’t end there. A spoon approached right in front of Lyndon’s face as he sat blankly on the chair.
”Ah–“
“…Huh?“
Lyndon blinked, his eyes wide, and looked at Hayley.
”Ah, eat.“
”Ah.“
Finally, Linden opened his mouth slightly in surprise. Then, the spoonful of food entered Linden’s mouth.
”Now, eat.“
”Mmm…“
Lyndon, flustered, chewed and swallowed the food Hayley had fed him. It was an omelet, rich with the savory aroma of butter.
”I, I can, ah, manage by myself…“
Next, Hayley placed a drink mixed with smooth milk into Lyndon’s hand.
“Here, drink.”
“Ah, yes…”
As soon as he drank it, a piece of date flew over. Once again, Lyndon eagerly caught it and ate it. It was intensely sweet and sticky, as if drenched in honey.
After accepting and eating several more pieces of food Hayley offered, Lyndon made an awkward expression and said, “I, I can eat it myself… Y-Your Grace, please eat…”
“Haha. I just enjoy watching you eat.”
“…”
Lyndon’s face flushed red again. It felt exactly like being in love. His heart pounded, and sweat beaded on his palms.
“Why are you being so kind to me…“
”Being kind? I don’t think that’s quite right?”
Even though it was true he was being kind, Hayley said it in that way for no particular reason.
“Ah, no, that’s not it…”
“Right. But I do want to be kind to you.”
“Why… why?”
“Well…”
Haley’s hand, which had been busily feeding him, stopped. Then, suddenly, he stood up from his seat. With his hands behind his back, he walked back to the terrace and looked down at the garden.
He continued speaking slowly.
“Maybe… I realized something yesterday.”
“… What?”
“Curing your illness is important, but maybe I also wanted to hear your honest feelings. When you honestly admitted you felt pleasure during this treatment and said you felt good…“
“…”
”It made me feel good too.” Hayley turned his head to look at Lyndon and smiled. The bright sunlight streaming in through the window illuminated his face.
Lyndon stared at him, seemingly mesmerized, before continuing. “But… the treatment was a disaster…”
“Well, so what? A little delay can be a good thing.”
“…”
Lyndon set down his spoon. Not because he was impressed by the duke’s words, but simply because he had finished his breakfast.
Rising from his seat, Lyndon addressed the duke, “Your… Your Grace. I believe I should be going now.”
“What are you talking about? Rest a bit longer before you go.”
“… What?”
“You pushed yourself quite hard yesterday, didn’t you? I didn’t even take it, yet I slept late today because I was so tired. If I’m this exhausted, I can’t even imagine how tired you must be. I can’t even begin to guess.”
“…”
Lyndon frowned slightly awkwardly as he looked at Hayley.
“Now, come here. Lie back down in bed a little longer before you go.”
“Ah, Your Grace. I don’t need any more treatment…”
“What are you talking about? I don’t intend to treat you either. I just want to rest.”
“…”
Lyndon finally lay down beside Hayley. After finishing his uneaten breakfast all by himself and lying down, Lyndon felt quite bloated.
He was patting his chest, trying to aid his digestion, when Hayley spoke to him again, “Well, Lyndon. Is there anything you want?”
“… Huh? Something I want?”
“Yeah. Or something you want to do.”
“… Um, no…”
‘Stop being so disgusting.’
Thinking that, Lyndon turned his head away from the duke and looked the other way. It was a conscious act, born of unnecessary embarrassment.
“I plan to go out this afternoon.”
“Ah, yes.”
Then the duke said something that caught Lyndon’s interest, “I’m planning to visit the casino for the first time in ages… It’d be easier if I had someone to bring along.”
“Huh? The, the casino!?” “
Lyndon, who had been looking away from Hayley, quickly turned back to face him.
“Yes. By any chance, Lyndon. Would you care to accompany me?”
“Uh, yes! Yes! Please let me come with you, Your Grace!“
“Hmm… Without any cost?”
“…?”
‘A price? I’m a penniless vagabond myself.’
While Lyndon pondered what he could possibly offer, Hayley spoke to him, “I’m not very good at kissing.”
“Ki-kissing?”
“Yes. A kiss on the cheek. I’ve only done it a few times. So I’d like you to do it for me every morning.”
“…”
A cheek kiss? How could this be… so romantic.
By this point, Lyndon admitted he couldn’t possibly fathom Hus Grace’s true feelings.
‘Right. Alex. You were right. He really is… Perhaps, he might actually have quite a fondness for me.’
With that thought, he brought his lips close to the duke’s cheek and gave it a soft peck.
At that, Hayley’s golden eyes crinkled in delight. He jumped up from his seat and pulled Lyndon along.
“Come on, Lyndon. Let’s hurry.”
