Hello everyone, SleepyTime here. Some of you might recognize this novel from Wook’s Teahouse before the whole site was taken down, and yes, I’m the original translator who uploaded this novel there. At first, I’m just going to let this novel gather dust in my drive since I don’t have the time to upload 90++ chapters, but due to some of my readers that still wanted to read this novel, I decided to post it in SoR. Hope you all enjoy it, thank you.

“Did you bring me here yesterday?”

    “Huh?”

“Yeah… yesterday, in front of the club? I remember seeing you on the street. And… Oh, right. You talked to me and helped me, didn’t you?”

Haon nodded as fragments of memories flooded back to him. Remembering this much was quite impressive for him. But oddly enough, Cha Yugeon seemed to have a bewildered expression.

“Why, didn’t you bring me here? Am I remembering wrong? Someone definitely helped me… but…”

    “You don’t remember?”

“I do. You brought me here, right?”

With confidence, Haon responded to Cha Yugeon’s question. Although he couldn’t clearly recall if it was Cha Yugeon who supported him, seeing him on the street and someone helping him, combined with Cha Yugeon being in his apartment now, made his assumption highly probable.

Haon looked at Cha Yugeon triumphantly. However, Cha Yugeon’s expression was far from pleased.

“No, I mean, is that the only thing you remember?”

“What… do you mean, is there more?”

His question left Haon slightly taken aback. He found himself involuntarily trying to gauge Cha Yugeon’s reaction. Cha Yugeon exuded a menacing aura, making Haon hesitant.

Rolling his eyes in confusion, Haon noticed a box of painkillers on the table.

“Oh, this isn’t mine… Oh, Cha Yugeon, did you give me this? Why? Where did I hit myself yesterday?”

“… I thrust into something and got hurt.”

    “Oh… Did I hit you Sorry. I don’t remember, but I apologize.”

Finally understanding why Cha Yugeon was so upset, Haon apologized. It seemed that Cha Yugeon had been hit hard while supporting Haon.

But since the culprit couldn’t remember, it was understandably frustrating.

Although, if one were to nitpick, Haon didn’t specifically ask to be brought here, and Cha Yugeon failing to properly support the not-so-heavy Haon.

But Haon wasn’t that bad in terms of character.

Haon apologized again, somewhat rare for him. Yet, Cha Yugeon’s expression remained unforgiving. Instead, it seemed to harden even more, making him even more intimidating.

    “Cha Yugeon…?”

    “…You don’t remember.”

    “Hey, I said sorry.”

    “That’s all you remember?”

“Yes? people who are drunk can’t remember things properly. Why are you so upset about something like that?”

By this point, Haon was also annoyed. He had repeatedly apologized for not remembering, but instead of accepting the apologies, Cha Yugeon’s reaction was more dumbfounding than anything.

    “I’m leaving.”

    “Fine, get out, you bastard!”

Cha Yugeon abruptly abandoned the water he was preparing and left the kitchen before Haon even finished speaking. Soon after, there was a ‘bang!’ as the front door closed.

    “Cha Yugeon, you crazy bastard!”

Furious at Cha Yugeon slamming the door, Haon shouted in frustration. Even shaking his fist in anger, he couldn’t calm down.

“That crazy bastard. Where did that filthy temper come from?”

For a while, Haon thought he was fine, but he was mistaken. That’s why he thought people couldn’t be fixed.

He was already dying from a hangover, but he felt like his head was spinning even more like he had a fever.

Haon thought he should take a shower and cool his head. But suddenly, he felt something strange.

“What… did I shower and sleep yesterday?”

It was when he detected a faint scent of body wash emanating from his body, which should have been permeated with the smell of alcohol. Haon sniffed his arm suspiciously. It wasn’t an illusion. It was definitely the tropical mango scent he use.

The fact that he showered while he was completely drunk was hard to believe, so this time Haon shook his head. As he did, the familiar scent of his shampoo permeated the air.

    “Ugh, my head hurts.”

While shaking his head, he could smell the shampoo, but when the headache started creeping in, Haon collapsed onto the couch, holding his head.

“Did I really shower in this state…?”

Haon muttered to himself in disbelief, no matter how much he thought about it.

Come to think of it, there was something else strange. If Cha Yugeon had brought him here yesterday, he would have gone back to his own dorm, so why was he still here in the morning?

Well, one could argue that he might have stayed here instead of going back to his own place late at night. But considering Cha Yugeon’s usual personality, it didn’t seem likely that he would just sleep anywhere out of laziness.

    “Well… Anyway, since I can’t remember, I should shower.”

Although he felt like he had already taken a shower, since he had no recollection of it, he decided he needed to take a shower. With that thought, he casually tossed his shirt aside. Haon soon headed to the bathroom but stopped short in front of the mirror at the sink.

    “What’s this…?”

Reflected in the mirror, his upper body was covered with red spots. From his neck, collarbone, chest, to his sides and stomach, Haon blinked his eyes at the mysterious spots on his body.

    “Is this an allergy…?”

The first thing that came to mind was an allergic reaction. Haon tried hard to remember what he had eaten yesterday. But no matter how much he racked his brain; all he could remember was drinking like crazy. Plus, he didn’t have any allergies in particular.

“It doesn’t itch, though… What is this, really?”

Luckily, there was no itching or stinging sensation. But he still couldn’t relax. He needed to check other areas. Frowning at the strange feeling, Haon continued to examine his body.

“Has this always been this big…?”

Haon gazed at the slightly swollen area in the center of his chest. He couldn’t confirm whether it was a few centimeters larger than usual, so he couldn’t compare, but it definitely felt different from usual.

    “It doesn’t hurt here either…”

Fortunately, there was no pain. Haon continued to ponder the unanswered questions while inspecting his lower body. There were no spots on his legs. For some reason, the allergic reaction seemed to be limited to his upper body.

But could there be allergies like this? Haon hastily put his clothes back on and searched on his phone.

    [Allergy only upper body]

Fortunately, a few search results appeared. However, the allergic reactions described were quite different from Haon’s. He thought he should go to the hospital.

    “Meow.”

“Uh, I’ll go to the hospital and be back.”

Sang-deok, who had been sleeping soundly, woke up to see Ha-on busily preparing to leave. After affectionately petting the meowing Sang-deok, Haon quickly headed to the hospital.

Although his steps were slow due to the hangover.

Since he was going to the hospital anyway, he thought he might as well get an IV drip.

But as he was about to enter the hospital, a memory flashed before his eyes.

    ‘Painkillers, can you take them?’

    ‘…No.’

‘Should I give them to you?’

    ‘…Yeah.’

And then, he kissed Cha Yugeon. Haon was in shock and touched his lips as if Cha Yugeon’s body heat still linger there.

Of course, strictly speaking, it wasn’t a kiss. To be precise, Cha Yugeon put the painkiller in Haon’s mouth and then poured the water that he had in his mouth into Haon’s mouth. So, one could argue that it wasn’t a kiss. Still, it was incredibly embarrassing.

Despite that, Haon’s face flushed as if it were on fire at the sharp memory.

The impulse to tear apart his own demanding mouth that answered Cha Yugeon’s question with a casual ‘yeah’ immediately arose.

‘Why did you do that, you idiot? Why?’

While feeling embarrassed, doubts crept in. It wasn’t like he was in a life-threatening situation like the last battle, so what on earth was the reason for giving him painkillers through his mouth?

Haon stopped in his tracks, forgetting his way to the hospital as he pondered. Come to think of it, he had assumed that Cha Yugeon had taken the painkiller himself after bumping into something while supporting him. But apparently, that wasn’t the case.

“Why did I take the painkiller?”

The question lingered, and thankfully, there was no pain thanks to the effects of the painkiller. Moreover, when he checked for any signs of bruises while examining for allergic reactions earlier, there didn’t seem to be any injuries in his body.

“Wait a minute, then… What does that mean?”

‘I thrust into something and got hurt.’

The incomprehensible words echoed in his mind.

“What on earth does ‘I thrust into something’ mean?”

Suddenly Haon’s face turned pale. Fragmented memories floated in his mind like pieces of a puzzle.

But those memories were all… flesh-colored.
