Hello everyone, SleepyTime here. Some of you might recognize this novel from Wook’s Teahouse before the whole site was taken down, and yes, I’m the original translator who uploaded this novel there. At first, I’m just going to let this novel gather dust in my drive since I don’t have the time to upload 90++ chapters, but due to some of my readers that still wanted to read this novel, I decided to post it in SoR. Hope you all enjoy it, thank you.

“Let us go, damn it! What are you doing, you bastard!”

“Who the hell are you to shout at me! Let us down! Do you even know who I am…”

“I don’t care who you are. I just wanted to eat quietly, and you two ruined it.”

As expected, Cha Yugeon wasn’t fazed by anything the two were shouting. Haon wanted to shut them up before Cha Yugeon escalated things further. Even though Cha Yugeon had promised to take it easy, an S-class Esper’s idea of ‘taking it easy’ was not always trustworthy.

While Haon anxiously looked back and forth between the two suspended guys and Cha Yugeon, the window behind them swung open. At first, Haon didn’t understand what was happening, but he quickly realized that Cha Yugeon had opened it. A gust of wind blew in through the open window.

    “Ahhhh!”

    “Aaaah!”

The moment Haon realized what Cha Yugeon was about to do, the two guys were thrown out of the window in an instant. It happened so quickly that there was no time to stop it.

“Hey, Cha Yugeon! You said you’d take it easy!”

    “They won’t die from that.”

“Yeah, probably not… They won’t die, but still, damn it.”

If they were ordinary people, they might have died. But since the two guys were awakened, they would have done something to avoid dying. Even guides learn basic fall techniques, so those espers would have handled it somehow.

Shaking his head, Haon sat back down. No matter what, it didn’t make sense to waste the short rib soup when it wasn’t at fault. Besides, he had to wait for Cha Yugeon to finish eating, so he thought it was better to eat a few spoonsful even if he had lost his appetite.

Cha Yugeon casually used telekinesis to close the window and continued eating. He didn’t seem to care about the murmurs around them. In moments like this, his unshakable mental strength was almost enviable.

As Haon ate slowly, counting the grains of rice, Cha Yugeon clicked his tongue.

“Eat it all, don’t leave any. It’s barely a mouthful.”

    “It’s several mouthfuls for me.”

    “Just eat it all.”

    “I’ll try.”

Satisfied, Cha Yugeon stopped nagging. Haon, wanting to keep his word, did his best to finish the meal.

While Haon struggled with half a bowl of rice, Cha Yugeon finished his meal effortlessly. Haon wondered if he would ever get used to Cha Yugeon’s appetite.

“Cha Yugeon, you’re getting a call.”

Haon looked at his watch’s screen, then realized the call wasn’t for him and informed Cha Yugeon. Cha Yugeon glanced at his watch.

“It’s Director Han. Probably calling about what just happened. No need to answer.”

“Wow… You really live life on the edge.”

    “Is that a compliment?”

    “You think?”

Haon was amazed that Cha Yugeon could nonchalantly ignore a call from Director Han. No matter how much Haon disliked it, he always answered Director Han’s calls. He hadn’t realized it was possible to act like Cha Yugeon and still be fine. Although, even if he knew, Haon’s personality wouldn’t let him act that way.

Thanks to Cha Yugeon, Haon managed to finish his meal without leaving any. Cha Yugeon commented about the leftover broth, but Haon had done his best.

After their meal, the two stopped by the café in the center and bought iced Americanos. As Haon sipped his coffee, he felt Cha Yugeon’s intense gaze.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Just surprised that you drink so well.”

“For modern people, Americano is like air. It’s not a matter of liking or disliking.”

    “If you say so.”

Cha Yugeon seemed baffled by Haon’s philosophy. They continued their light conversation as they walked to the dorm building where their rooms were.

    “Where should we do it?”

    “…I don’t care, wherever.”

Haon responded absentmindedly. For him, what they were going to do was more important than where.

“Then let’s go to my room?”

    “Sure, whatever.”

Haon answered nonchalantly, but inside, he was a mess. The thought of kissing Cha Yugeon was a big deal for him.

Considering his already restless state, kissing Cha Yugeon would only make him more anxious. While contemplating if there was still a way to escape, they had already arrived in front of Cha Yugeon’s room.

    Beep.

The sound of the door unlocking sounded so loud in Haon’s ears. At that moment, Haon truly realized that this moment had come.

He hesitated, unable to easily enter Cha Yugeon’s room, but Cha Yugeon grabbed his hand and pulled him inside.

    “Come in.”

    “…Okay.”

He missed the timing to refuse, and he had no excuse to do so. There was no turning back now; only what was about to happen remained. Haon tightly closed his eyes and followed Cha Yugeon into his room.

    “Cha Yugeon, wait a minute… I, uh…”

Once inside his room, Haon shook his head, overwhelmed by an indescribable feeling. But Cha Yugeon’s lips came at him without hesitation. Cha Yugeon kissed him deeply, and Haon naturally closed his eyes.

Cha Yugeon acted as if he had been waiting for this moment, and Haon felt himself collapsing under his touch. Feeling his legs weaken, Haon clung to Cha Yugeon’s neck. In response, Cha Yugeon wrapped his arms tightly around Haon’s waist.

The passionate kiss continued for a long time, stealing each other’s warmth. The never-ending kiss left Haon breathless. The lack of oxygen made his head feel fuzzy, and amidst it all, he wondered if their compatibility would increase by another 3% from this kiss.

He became curious about what Cha Yugeon looked like while kissing. Haon opened his eyes slightly, and his face turned bright red. Seeing Cha Yugeon up close, he realized just how incredibly handsome he was. He couldn’t help but admit it.

His heart pounded rapidly. He could hear the loud thumping in his own ears. Just kissing Cha Yugeon and seeing his face so close made Haon’s heart feel like it would burst. It was absurd. Haon thought he must be crazy. Perhaps it was the lack of oxygen from the long kiss.

Yet, the kiss continued. Whenever Haon felt too breathless and weakly hit Cha Yugeon’s chest, Cha Yugeon would momentarily pull back to let Haon catch his breath.

    “Ha…”

When Cha Yugeon kissed him gently and teasingly, Haon let out a pleased hum through their connected lips. Embarrassed, Haon blushed even more. In response, Cha Yugeon’s kiss grew even more insistent.

    “Hm!”

Cha Yugeon’s hand roamed over Haon’s waist, sending a jolt through his body. His mind sounded a red alert, warning him to push Cha Yugeon away, but the pleasure from their contact left him too dazed to do so.

    Yes, he liked it.

Kissing Cha Yugeon felt genuinely good.

    This confused Haon.

Was it okay to enjoy kissing Cha Yugeon?

They weren’t in any kind of relationship. Was this really alright?

Yet, part of him didn’t care.

Meanwhile, Cha Yugeon’s touch became more intense, almost desperate yet seductive. Haon didn’t know what to do and simply succumbed to Cha Yugeon’s hands. His sighs were muffled by Cha Yugeon’s lips, as if Cha Yugeon was devouring even his breath.

In fact, Cha Yugeon was slowly consuming Haon entirely. Haon knew this but couldn’t escape. It was more accurate to say he had no intention of escaping.

    ‘What do I really want?’

Haon asked himself. They claimed to have no relationship, yet they were engaging in something deeper than any relationship. He didn’t understand why he kept denying it despite knowing their precarious situation.

    “Ha, ugh!”

Cha Yugeon seemed to delve into Haon’s thoughts, stimulating him even more. Haon felt heat rising through his body, excitement enveloping him completely.

Instinctively, Haon knew. He would soon crumble under Cha Yugeon’s touch.
