The first thing Ding Xuerun did was to overthrow the so-called “confession.” He suggested to the procuratorate that there was a discrepancy between the suspect’s explanation and the content of the transcript.

With his assistance, not only was Xu Dashan acquitted at trial, but the true offender was also brought to court.

The two people’s hands are tightly clasped and inseparable.

“It’s none of my business for you young people,” he said with a long sigh.

Ding Xuerun did not continue to force Ding Zhaowen to have no way out after receiving such an answer. After that,  Ding Zhaowen did not call Ding Xuerun for a long time. Ding Xuerun, on the other hand, will still be concerned about his well-being and will take the initiative to send him a message, ask about his health, and transfer money to him.

During the summer vacation that year, Ding Xuerun was going back to visit his mother. His mother died of illness in such a hot summer, so the hot summer was cruel to Ding Zhaowen.

Ding Xuerun did not mention Lou Cheng. The two drove to the cemetery and spent the entire day and night standing in front of the tombstone. After sunset, Ding Zhaowen suddenly said: “Next year Qingming, you will bring your friends here and let your mother take a look.”

Ding Xuerun’s eyes lit up.

“If she agrees, I agree.”
