by InterstellarSnakeChapter 57: Can It Be Exchanged?
Lin Miao tilted his face back, his back pressed against the solid wall as he received Huo Yuchuan’s intense kiss with slightly parted lips. Huo Yuchuan had just taken a shower, and his body still carried the dampness of water vapor. His loose bathrobe clung tightly to Lin Miao.
Lin Miao caught a faint scent of body wash, feeling as if he too had become damp. Huo Yuchuan held his waist, kissing him for a long while without letting go. Lin Miao couldn’t even keep track of how many times he had been kissed.
He was running out of breath and pushed at Huo Yuchuan’s arm a bit, prompting the person above him to pull back slightly.
Huo Yuchuan looked into his moist eyes and asked in a low voice, “How did you know I was here?”
Lin Miao, breathing lightly, replied, “I asked Little Zheng.”
Huo Yuchuan kissed the corner of his lips, “Didn’t you say you’d wait for me at home?”
“I was afraid you’d be upset,” Lin Miao said softly, “I wanted to be with you.”
Huo Yuchuan’s gaze deeply settled on his face before he couldn’t help but kiss him again, even more forcefully than before. He half-carried him inside, stumbling and pressing him down onto the soft bed.
Lin Miao wrapped his arms around his neck, feeling his lips go numb and sore from the kissing, but Huo Yuchuan seemed to have no intention of stopping. Instead, he grew hotter, his scorching breath burning Lin Miao as well.
“Huo Yuchuan,” he said in a disjointed, mumbled manner, “My lips are going to swell… Six hundred times is just too much, isn’t it?”
Huo Yuchuan slightly propped himself up to look at him, his heavy breathing clearly audible. He reached up and brushed against Lin Miao’s red and wet lips, slowly asking, “Can it be exchanged?”
Lin Miao’s mind was in a daze, “Exchange for what?”
Huo Yuchuan kissed his neck, his palm sliding down his lower back…
Lin Miao shuddered all over and gasped for breath.
Huo Yuchuan looked up and softly asked him, “Is it okay?”
The moisture on Huo Yuchuan seemed to evaporate into hot steam. Lin Miao reached out in a daze, touching his prominent nose, then from his chin to his protruding Adam’s apple…
“Huo Yuchuan…”
He murmured his name, his fingers slipping into the half-open bathrobe on Huo Yuchuan’s chest…
Huo Yuchuan’s eyes darkened, and he quickly grabbed the blanket.
Clothes scattered across the floor, fragmented sounds escaped bit by bit. Lin Miao, under the blanket, clung to Huo Yuchuan, trembling uncontrollably, crying and biting Huo Yuchuan’s shoulder, then worrying if it hurt him…
And then Huo Yuchuan became even more intense.
Lin Miao couldn’t bear it and called out to him, but Huo Yuchuan seemed not to hear, kissing away the tears from the corners of his eyes, and in the chaos, gently calling “Miao Miao”…
Lin Miao didn’t know how long he had been crying. When Huo Yuchuan finally stopped, he regained a bit of consciousness, only to find himself out of strength.
Huo Yuchuan carried him to take a shower. After entering the bathroom, he somehow cried for a long time again, and he didn’t remember when he fell asleep. In his drowsy state, he had a terrifying thought that Huo Yuchuan might have gone mad…
Huo Yuchuan listened to his incoherent mutterings in his sleep, kissed him with a smile, and held him close as they got into bed.
Huo Yuchuan slept until noon. When he woke up, he saw that Lin Miao was still deeply asleep, so he first asked Little Zheng to order some food.
When he turned on his phone, he saw several missed calls and a message from Huomingzhe.
Huomingzhe, rarely without his usual grace, asked if he had gone crazy.
Huo Yuchuan replied, “Maybe it’s better to be a little crazy.”
On the other side, Huomingzhe’s temple throbbed with irritation—Huo Yuchuan had left after being driven out, leaving him in the old house, being interrogated by one person after another, asking him what was going on between him and Huo Yuchuan, whether it was a perversion of character or a degradation of morality.
Huomingzhe could only say that Huo Yuchuan had gone mad.
Huomingzhe’s mother nearly fainted upon hearing the news, repeatedly asking if Huo Yuchuan had done anything to him, and urging him to marry Zhao Jiayin quickly to completely cut off Huo Yuchuan’s hopes.
After admonishing him, she went to cry in front of Huo Shaoyuan, and in the end, she even begged Huo Shaoyuan not to interfere with Huo Yuchuan anymore. As long as he didn’t cling to Huomingzhe, he could be with any man outside.
Huomingzhe’s mother was not Huo Shaoyuan’s nominal wife. She had Huomingzhe before he got married. Huomingzhe had been obedient and sensible since childhood, more mature than other children his age, and Huo Shaoyuan was very satisfied with him, so he brought him back to become his eldest son.
A few years later, Huo Yuchuan also returned to the Huo family. Huo Shaoyuan hadn’t expected much from him, but Huo Yuchuan grew rapidly, and his abilities gradually became apparent over the years. Even the shaky company in City A was propped up by him.
From then on, he and Huomingzhe became the two sons Huo Shaoyuan was most satisfied with.
But Huo Shaoyuan never expected to hear one of his sons say he wanted to marry the other.
He was so shocked that day that he almost stood up from his wheelchair and threw it at Huo Yuchuan.
But he was old, too old to even hit Huo Yuchuan anymore.
Lv Hanxiu was also so scared that she hid outside, calling Huo Yuchuan all night without anyone answering. It wasn’t until the next day that Huo Yuchuan called her back.
“What on earth are you doing?!” Lv Hanxiu was both shocked and angry, “How can you be so unclear with Huomingzhe? Don’t you like that Lin Miao?”
Huo Yuchuan said, “Didn’t you disapprove?”
“I…” Lv Hanxiu said urgently, “But Huomingzhe is even worse! He’s your brother!”
Huo Yuchuan: “Then I want Lin Miao.”
Lv Hanxiu: “He’s not……”
Huo Yuchuan: “Then I’ll cling to Huomingzhe.”
Lv Hanxiu: “……”
Lv Hanxiu was exhausted and persuaded him, “Aren’t you afraid your father will throw you out and take back the company, leaving you with nothing?”
Huo Yuchuan didn’t react much, just said, “How clean can the Huo family business be, after growing so big?”
“These years, I haven’t worked for them for nothing.”
He said coldly, “The one who should be afraid is my father.”
When Lin Miao woke up, it was already in the afternoon.
He groggily opened his eyes and saw Huo Yuchuan sitting by the bed, touching his face and calling him to get up and eat something.
Lin Miao’s whole body was sore and weak, and his thigh still ached as if Huo Yuchuan was holding it, hurting with every movement.
“I can’t get up,” he said weakly, “It feels like I’ve been run over by a truck……”
He complained and glanced at Huo Yuchuan, “It’s all your fault.”
“Mm,” Huo Yuchuan sincerely admitted his mistake, “It’s all my fault.”
He touched Lin Miao’s forehead, asking if he felt dizzy?
Lin Miao nodded.
Huo Yuchuan frowned, but Lin Miao didn’t seem to have a fever, “You’re not feverish, right?”
“It’s not a fever,” Lin Miao grumbled, “My body feels like it’s still shaking, a bit dizzy.”
Huo Yuchuan couldn’t help but laugh and kissed him again.
Lin Miao hummed and quietly warned him, “Don’t be so rough next time.”
Huo Yuchuan: “When is next time?”
Lin Miao: “……”
The focus isn’t on that!
