ElephantCoffee asked back in disbelief, but Ye Woo-won calmly scrolled down the spreadsheet and spoke, “The most important factor in Guild contribution is the Territory War, right? The more we participate, the higher our contribution ranking goes, and the more Gold payouts we earn…”

– “That’s why our ranking is so high, isn’t it? While you guys are chilling, we’re out there busting our asses capturing territories.”

“Exactly. Thanks to that, our Guild’s territory is pretty vast.”

– “Then what the hell’s your problem…”

“Why do you think we kept losing to the same Guild?”

Ye Woo-won’s gaze lingered on the numbers covering the screen.

“Once every three rounds, without fail?”

– “Huh?”

Dotbal snorted and said.

– “Newcomer-nim~ guess you haven’t done enough Territory Wars to know, but do you think anyone can win all the time? Depends on the party setup, skill level—”

“Right. It’s not easy. But why?”

Ye Woo-won tapped his fingers lightly, then fixed his eyes on one name.

“Seems like every time you fight that Guild called nm02, you lose one out of three rounds.”

– “…”

“It’s strange, isn’t it? You could’ve lost twice instead of once, so how did the results end up this consistent? And only against the same guild, at that?”

Except for the Territory Wars against nm02, Gaesae Guild’s win rate was extremely high. Which meant they’d fought nm02 several times—and lost. And the players who fought nm02 were always the same.

“It’s also interesting that the same people always faced nm02. What a coincidence.”

The four who had just spoken up—Dotbal, ElephantCoffee, TangerineFarmer, and MeteorMagic— had fought nm02 repeatedly, winning and losing in a regular pattern.

“Plus, the math doesn’t even make sense, so forgive me for being suspicious.”

When Gaesae Guild lost to nm02, they lost about 8,000 Gold, roughly 5% of our Guild Gold. But when they won against the smaller nm02, they only earned about 500 Gold.

In other words, even if they deliberately lose just one out of the three matches, the Gaesae Guild’s loss would be…

“It’s almost like you guys have alt accounts in that Guild, and you’re sharing Guild Gold with them.”

ElephantCoffee barked angrily.

—“That bastard Kisekki could’ve just kept his mouth shut. Even the guildmates who had been quietly listening in the voice room couldn’t hold it in anymore and flooded the Guild chat.

“And as for what you’ve been saying… I don’t really understand.”

Ye Woo-won’s calm gaze stayed fixed on the muted name, Kisekki. Whether that person was listening or not didn’t matter. Ye Woo-won simply spoke quietly, “Was Kisekki-nim really the one in the wrong here?”

Ye Woo-won was soft. True to his name, he lived gently and grew into someone who didn’t know how to say no.

Since his school days, people had called him a pushover; he had always struggled to refuse anything—whether it was a confession or a simple request. Even one of his ex-girlfriends had said that his softness was part of the reason they broke up. But—

“From where I’m standing, I think he did the right thing.”

When that tenderness straightened, no one could bend it.

The four who caused the disturbance tried to confront Ye Woo-won later, but no.10 stopped them.
