MMBMGAP CH 1
by jj.ssasipscoffeeChapter 1: S-Class Alpha and Omega
The sky was clear that day, and streaks of light from aircraft occasionally flashed across the distant horizon.
In the bustling Imperial Capital, the Royal Advanced Academy stood independently on the western side like a world unto itself. Its vast campus was lined with elegant white buildings modeled after ancient Roman architecture—dignified and breathtaking.
Only the most elite military talents of the Empire could study here. Beyond traditional combat and tactical training, students also studied the use of spiritual power in warfare, medical science, mechanical weapons engineering, and other specialized disciplines.
Most of the students were Alphas, though there were also Omegas with powerful mental strength and Betas with exceptional technical skills. Upon graduation, they could directly enter the Imperial Royal Army to serve the Empire.
Sade and Achille were walking through the white Roman-style corridor, making their way around half the campus toward the field combat training grounds at the back. Their class had ended a little late, and they were afraid of being late for training, so the two Alphas walked swiftly and urgently—when suddenly, a petite Omega darted out from behind one of the columns and blocked Sade’s path.
“Senior, I’ve liked you for a long time… would you go out with me?” the Omega asked loudly, cheeks flushed red. He had clearly been waiting here for a while, just for this moment.
Sade was arguably the top Alpha in the entire Empire. Born into the royal family, his father, General Allen, was the younger brother of Queen Aisha and one of the Empire’s most powerful guardians.
When Sade underwent his secondary gender differentiation at sixteen, he emerged as an S-Class[1] Alpha and was immediately enlisted by the Empire for special training. Now a fourth-year student at the Royal Advanced Academy, he specialized in close combat and sniping, with a major in tactics—a truly all-round military talent.
Tall and handsome, his sharp features paired with golden hair and golden eyes gave him the aura of a deity walking across campus. Yet despite his noble blood and elite status, he was remarkably humble and polite—a far cry from the arrogance typical of top-ranked Alphas.
Nine out of ten Omegas in the school adored him. It was nothing new for Sade to get love confessions, but not once had any Omega succeeded.
“I’m sorry, I already have a fiancé,” Sade replied with a gentle, warm smile—completely devoid of aggression. It was the kind of smile that made people think he was easy to talk to. But what he said was, without a doubt, a rejection.
“I know, but I heard the two of you were only matched by the system. There’s no real love between you. I really like you… I don’t care about him,” the Omega hurriedly assured.
He didn’t mind that Sade was engaged—everyone knew Sade and that Omega weren’t close and barely interacted. To be with Sade, even for a short while, was his dream. He was willing to cherish the chance, even if it was fleeting.
“Is that so? Unfortunately, I have absolutely no interest in you.” Sade’s voice was still soft, but those familiar with him could sense the chill in his eyes. His mood was clearly foul. After giving his rejection, he didn’t hesitate to walk right past the Omega.
“Tsk tsk, not bad-looking at all, that junior,” Achille teased, watching the drama unfold with amusement. “He even said he didn’t mind your engagement? Damn, you’ve got some serious luck with Omegas.”
“Some luck,” Sade replied, the smile on his face dropping the moment there were no outsiders around. He scowled and muttered coldly, “I’d rather know who’s been spreading rumors about me.”
S-Class Alphas and Omegas were not only powerful but also extremely sensitive, with deeply complex glandular and mental strength traits. Once designated as S-Class, their pheromones would be recorded in the Imperial Database and used to match them with the most compatible partner. The Queen herself would then bestow the marriage.
It was considered the highest honor—for the sake of humanity’s continuation.
Sade had been matched with an S-Class Omega at age sixteen, but because it was a private matter, his family never made it public. Only close friends and relatives knew the truth. But recently, more and more people had been whispering about it—until now, it had practically become an open secret.
“Didn’t the rumors start just last year? It’s really not that big a deal. Why are you so worked up?” Achille shrugged.
After all, Sade’s secondary gender had never been a secret. Everyone knew he would be assigned a match. And considering Sade was practically the school’s biggest celebrity—receiving public confessions and constant gossip on the school forums—it was no surprise the news had spread.
“He probably doesn’t want people gossiping about him,” Sade said, recalling the cool and indifferent face of his fiancé.
“So… have you two had any contact lately?” Achille asked.
“No.” Sade answered quickly.
But that wasn’t true.
Sade’s mind couldn’t help but flash back to the image of Lin You’s long, pale legs wrapped around his waist, his whole body soft and pliant beneath him, melting into a pool of warmth as he welcomed Sade’s advances. That usually expressionless face only ever showed color during moments of intimacy, when his eyes shimmered with tears and his lips trembled with restrained gasps.
Of course, Sade had no intention of sharing those private, intimate details with anyone.
“Then why are you staying loyal like that? You two aren’t married yet, and there’s no rule saying you can’t date someone else,” Achille said, exasperated.
If he were in Sade’s shoes—with Omegas throwing themselves at him every few days—he definitely wouldn’t have been able to hold back.
“I’m going to marry him eventually. Isn’t it better to leave behind a good reputation?” Sade kept walking, his tone casual.
“You’ve got it tough, being forcibly matched with someone like him,” Achille muttered, clicking his tongue.
Sade stopped walking the moment he heard that.
“He’s an exceptional person. That comment was disrespectful.” His tone held a trace of warning as he looked at his friend.
“Well, so are you! Who in the Empire could compare to you now? I mean, yeah, Lin You’s got great credentials, but come on—his personality is like a walking ice sculpture,” Achille said, clearly unconvinced. From his point of view, Lin You was way too cold and detached—totally not suited for someone like Sade, who was naturally open and friendly.
“No, he’s great. I actually think… he’s really cute,” Sade said with a soft smile.
His mind wandered again, this time to Lin You’s silver hair cascading across the dark bed sheets, his bright blue eyes glazed with moisture, skin so pale it was almost translucent. He curled up naked like a delicate fae creature, small and fragile—like a spirit that had accidentally stumbled into the mortal world.
Yes… Lin You was truly, incredibly cute.
“Cute?! Bro, now I actually believe your compatibility is 96%,” Achille exclaimed, stunned. “He’s a total iceberg! And you’re calling that ‘cute’? I mean, yeah, sure—he’s got the looks and that ethereal vibe going for him, no doubt. He’s known as the most fairy-like Omega in the Empire. But still! Cute??”
Sade snapped out of his daydream—his face was starting to feel warm.
“Don’t talk about him like that. Let’s go—training,” he said, shooting Achille a glare before striding off ahead.
In the end, the two barely made it to the training ground on time.
Achille, still confused about what had set Sade off, ended up being dragged into a triple-intensity training session. He got beaten by Sade over and over again, collapsed from exhaustion like a dog, and lay sore all over.
It was only then that Achille finally realized—His best friend definitely held a grudge…and used training to get revenge.
(To be continued…)

- S-Class: In the ABO system, S-Class refers to the highest level of Alphas or Omegas. They have stronger physical abilities, rare pheromones, and powerful mental strength. S-Class individuals are extremely rare and are often matched by the Empire for optimal compatibility. ↑
