Park Dong-sik unconsciously stepped back. In front of him, Chairman Kim seemed to be in a daze as he mumbled incoherently.

“I don’t understand how this happened. When I opened my eyes, I was in the Chairman’s body. At first, I thought it was a dream. You might not believe me, but it’s really me. Please help me, Hee-soo nim… sob!”

Only one person in this place called him “Hee-soo nim.” Still, he couldn’t believe it. As he looked on suspiciously, Chairman Kim sobbed again.

“Ah! You remember, right? A few days ago, we went to the department store together. You bought me that expensive colorful shirt there. On the way home, you bought a necklace too. It was fifty won, and when you said your neck hurt. I gave you a hot compress!”

    Park Dong-sik’s face gradually contorted.

“And Mr. Park Dong-sik! We went to his funeral together. There, I—”

Park Dong-sik raised his hand to stop Chairman Kim’s words.

    “Stop. Stop…”

He went right up to Chairman Kim’s face and examined it carefully.

    “Ms. Kim Yoon-ah?”

Chairman Kim’s eyes welled up with tears of joy.

    “Yes, it’s me!”

Park Dong-sik let out a held breath with a “huh” sound. He scratched his head vigorously, unable to comprehend the situation no matter how hard he thought about it. He looked around. Worried about sound leaking outside or a bug being planted somewhere in the room, he nervously chewed his lip and lowered his voice.

    “Why are you…in there?”

“I don’t know. When I opened my eyes, I was like this. At first, I thought it was a dream and pinched myself, slapped my face…but it was absolutely no use. When I grabbed the doctor and said I wasn’t Chairman Kim Doo-shik, they looked so shocked…”

    “And then?”

“I decided it was better to keep quiet…”

    “Good call. Well done.”

Park Dong-sik muttered to himself. How many people in the world would believe that Kim Yoon-ah was inside Chairman Kim’s body? They’d just think the old man had lost his mind. Park Dong-sik put his hands on his hips and paced the bedroom repeatedly.

Why did this happen? The more he thought about it, he could only conclude it was a curse. Otherwise, how could two people in one household have their souls switched?

But looking at it another way, this was an opportunity. With Chairman Kim around, he would’ve just kept making advances at Park Dong-sik and getting in his way. With Kim Yoon-ah in Chairman Kim’s body, there would be no interference whatsoever. Of course, from Kim Yoon-ah’s perspective, being trapped in an old man’s body would be an unpleasant experience.

“Um…what should I do now? Isn’t there some way to return to my body?”

Park Dong-sik sighed softly and sat down in front of Chairman Kim. He couldn’t get used to this at all, the fact that Kim Yoon-ah was inside the old man who had been harassing him until recently. But hadn’t he experienced the same thing? He thought he should first comfort her in her shock. Park Dong-sik carefully reached out and put his hand on Chairman Kim’s shoulder.

“Stay calm and wait…I’ll try to find a way.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, Chairman Kim’s lips trembled as tears welled up in her eyes.

“Thank you. I was… sob worried that Hee-soo nim wouldn’t believe me… sniff!”

“Dear. Please, don’t cry with that face. It’s a bit…”

Kim Yoon-ah quickly wiped away her tears, and Park Dong-sik patted her shoulder.

“I believe you. No matter what anyone says, I believe you.”

Park Dong-sik got up to his feet. There was no point in staying any longer. Before leaving, he gave her some instructions. It would be troublesome if the suspicious Madam Song brought in a shaman again, using ghosts as an excuse.

When he instructed her to keep quiet, Chairman Kim, no, Kim Yoon-ah, nodded her head.

“I’ll come back tomorrow. Just say you want to be alone. Especially be careful of that bastard Kim Tae-han.”

    “What?”

“There’s a reason. Don’t let anyone near you. Understand?”

Chairman Kim nodded, and Park Dong-sik opened the door and left the bedroom. Madam Song in the reception room shot him a sharp look as he was coming out. Kim Tae-han approached and checked his expression. When he asked if everything was okay, Park Dong-sik grabbed his arm and went downstairs.

Though the back of his head stung from her glare, he had no time to worry about Madam Song now. His steps quickened, and halfway down the corridor to Kim Tae-han’s quarters, he stopped and turned around. Kim Tae-han smiled and took Park Dong-sik’s hand into his.

“Why did you stop? Wasn’t my bedroom the destination?”

Park Dong-sik shook off his hand and glared daggers at Kim Tae-han.

    “It was you, wasn’t it?”

    “What?”

“You pushed Chairman Kim, didn’t you?”

    “Hmm…”

    “Answer me.”

    “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Park Dong-sik grabbed Kim Tae-han’s collar. “Stop playing around. Tell me straight, you bastard.” Despite the threat, Kim Tae-han smiled and looked at him adoringly. Park Dong-sik was dumbfounded. This bastard would probably smile even if I stabbed him in the gut.

“You promised with your own mouth, if I get rid of all the family members, you’ll marry me and have my child.”

Park Dong-sik couldn’t close his gaping mouth. He’d expected denial, but this straightforward confession was too shocking for words. While looking around worried someone might have heard, his eyes opened wide in surprise. In the distance, Kim Jun-han, just getting out of his car, was watching them. The glass walls made everything visible.

As he released the collar and tried to move elsewhere, Kim Tae-han suddenly grabbed both his cheeks and pressed their lips together. The pheromone scent made his legs weak and left him gasping for air. He struggled against the creeping sensation but to no avail.

A tongue invaded roughly, then slipped out like a snake. Mmnh…! After letting out a moan and coming to his senses after being released from the kiss, he saw Kim Tae-han licking his lips. Kim Jun-han had vanished from outside.

    “Did my brother just see?”

Park Dong-sik was stunned by Kim Tae-han’s brazen question.

    “Y-You knew all along!”

“You wanted to know who did it, right?”

    “…”

“It was me. But you’re the one who ordered it, sister-in-law. Don’t you remember? You asked me to.”

    “What?”

“We’re accomplices. Die together, live together.”

    “You crazy bastard!”

    “You know what?”

Before he could ask what, Kim Tae-han brought his lips to his ear.

“Next time, I hope you ask me to kill Kim Jun-han.”

A chill ran up and down his spine right then. Park Dong-sik gritted his teeth and grabbed Kim Tae-han’s collar.

“Forget about it! Stay away from Chairman Kim for now. I take back what I said. Don’t kill anyone. If you do, it’s really over between us. Got it? Touch Chairman Kim and you’ll regret it!”

At the threat, Kim Tae-han’s eyes turned cold.

“What’s this? Don’t tell me you and father…?”

“Are you crazy? Like I’d sleep with that old man!”

“Of course, you shouldn’t. Lee Hee-soo only likes young, handsome guys like me.”

He was so shameless saying that about himself. When he tried to touch his cheek, Park Dong-sik slapped his hand away, making him feign pain with an “ah.” Park Dong-sik warned him again. Absolutely, absolutely do not do anything strange to Chairman Kim.

He couldn’t come up with a believable explanation at all.

Who would believe that Chairman Kim was Kim Yoon-ah?

“Will you give me a present if I behave?”

    “…”

    “Answer me, sister-in-law. I’m waiting.”

    “What do you want?”

    “You know.”

How could he not understand the blatant desire in those eyes? Even now, Kim Tae-han was probably imagining stripping Lee Hee-soo and licking every inch of his body. Keeping his mouth shut tight, Park Dong-sik nodded his head. The corner of Kim Tae-han’s mouth curved upward.

“Come to my bedroom at midnight in two days. My brother will be away on business.”

When there was no answer, he urged with his eyes. Despite how annoying he was, Park Dong-sik’s body was responding. The sex with Kim Tae-han had been so impressive that even seeing water flowing from a tap brought back memories of their past romps.

“Come on. You need to answer.”

There it was again, that expression. Acting so shamelessly, then begging like a pitiful puppy. It made people’s hearts soften. Park Dong-sik slowly nodded.

    “Okay. I’ll come.”

As soon as he agreed, Kim Tae-han smiled and tried to kiss him, but Park Dong-sik stepped back and warned him with a wave of his hand.

    “Only when I allow it.”

    Kim Tae-han smiled slyly.

    “Yes, master.”

    Good. That’s better.

Park Dong-sik gestured for him to go and turned around. Kim Tae-han stood there until Park Dong-sik had completely disappeared. Whatever sincerity existed between Lee Hee-soo and Kim Tae-han, currently in this mansion, besides Kim Yoon-ah, Kim Tae-han was the only one on Park Dong-sik’s side.

While lost in various thoughts, he returned to the guest house only to find Kim Jun-han reading a newspaper in the first-floor living room. Park Dong-sik, startled, hurried his steps as if trying to flee.

    “A dog in heat.”

He stopped halfway up the stairs. Looking back, Kim Jun-han had lifted his eyes from the newspaper and was looking at him with his head tilted to one side, with an expression that revealed nothing of his true thoughts, neither anger nor irritation visible on his face.
