Yun Mingzhuo, utterly entranced by Shang Xuan’s warmth, hadn’t noticed the tension that had suddenly frozen the atmosphere around them. “Yeah, it feels…” Wait a second! That voice wasn’t right!
He swallowed hard and turned his head stiffly—only to see Murong Zichen standing there with a cold, murderous look in his eyes.
Oh crap! It’s that damn emperor!
Yun Mingzhuo silently screamed in panic and instinctively dropped to his knees. “Y-Your Majesty, please spare me!” He was screwed! The emperor had caught him in the act of flirting with one of his consorts—he was done for!
