TGMND 100
by SpringlilaA German philosopher was known for his very punctual sense of time. He would take a walk at the same time every day, to the point where people could guess the time just by seeing him. Now, imagine that one day, this philosopher suddenly took a different route for his walk or left earlier than expected. The first thing people would wonder is, “Why?”
“…What?”
Yeo-woon felt like a million question marks popped up in his head as he watched Yoon Ji-gu walk directly toward him. The swimming pool at 7 PM every evening. Ji-gu in a full-body swimsuit. Although they hadn’t specifically set it, this was as good as an unspoken promise. But now, Ji-gu had discarded his full-body swimsuit for the first time in months. Whatever change of heart he’d had, it was quite unexpected.
“Hyung.”
“Oh, yeah?”
Yeo-woon unknowingly stammered as he looked up at Ji-gu. Ji-gu glanced at the clock on the highest part of the pool wall and muttered, “Still got time left,” before entering the water. Yeo-woon unconsciously took a step back.
“Why didn’t you come to the pool yesterday?”
Ji-gu asked with his arms crossed. His narrowed eyes looked sharp.
“Just had some things to do…”
Yeo-woon answered, scratching his cheek. The Ji-gu before him had too much skin showing today. It was just an ordinary male body found anywhere. But after being covered up every day, having it suddenly before his eyes without warning kept drawing his gaze.
“Your swimsuit…”
“…”
“You changed it?”
At Yeo-woon’s words, Yoon Ji-gu’s ears, which had been expressionless until now, faintly turned a peachy color. He coughed awkwardly a couple of times and gave a slight nod.
“I see, your swimsuit…”
“…”
“You changed it.”
Yeo-woon mumbled meaningless words and then laughed awkwardly, having nothing else to say.
“Hyung.”
“Yeah?”
“Can I ask you something?”
He continued without waiting for Yeo-woon’s answer.
“Last weekend…”
“Yeah.”
His gaze was strange. He didn’t even try to hide the look of observing him. After staring at Yeo-woon for a while, he continued.
“…Did something happen?”
“What do you mean? Nothing happened.”
Yeo-woon answered in a nonchalant tone.
“No, I mean, I stepped out for a very short while, and when I came back, you were gone.”
“Was that so?”
Yeo-woon rolled his eyes as if recalling a few days ago, then shook his head.
“Sorry, I left without cleaning up… I must have gone home half-asleep.”
“…I see.”
Ji-gu’s dark eyes stared intently at Yeo-woon’s face. The depth that seemed to penetrate his inner thoughts made him feel oddly uncomfortable. This was all because of Ji-gu wearing a new swimsuit without saying anything.
“By the way, there were a lot of beer cans left. Aren’t you going to take them?”
“If there are leftovers, you can just drink them.”
“I don’t want to.”
“…?”
“I don’t really drink alcohol. It doesn’t taste good. You bought them, so take them all with you.”
“Alright, I’ll take them today… You’re really complaining a lot.”
Yeo-woon grumbled his complaints about Ji-gu loud enough for him to hear and pushed him lightly with his foot.
“The instructor’s here. Let’s talk after we’re done.”
“Ah, why did he come so early?”
He dunked his head deep into the water and moved to the next lane. It wasn’t often that Ji-gu initiated a conversation. Most days, he would just glance over, waiting for Yeo-woon to say something. People other than those in the beginner’s class started to get out of the water one by one. It seemed like it was diving practice today.
People climbed onto the diving board and fell onto the water surface in the standard posture one after another. He looked up and met Ji-gu’s eyes. Then, almost as if on purpose, Yoon began stretching, extending his arms widely to the side.
“What’s up with him…?”
The fact that they made eye contact right as Yeo-woon looked up meant that Yoon Ji-gu had been watching him for a while. The persistent gaze that had been directed at him all hour was unnerving. Did Yoon Ji-gu eat something weird today?
Lately, too many things were happening that unsettled him. Yeo-woon roughly washed himself, came out, and waited for Ji-gu outside while looking at his phone. A message had arrived from Earth Star a couple of hours ago.
Earth Star: The compensation notice just came out
He hadn’t entered Illusion since the incident and hadn’t received many messages from Earth Star either. Of course, even if he had, he would have ignored them all. It seemed Earth Star, who used to send useless messages at all hours, had some sense of tact.
Anyway, Yeo-woon had already seen in the guild chat that Sunset, that crazy jerk, had been suspended for six months. But the lost items were gone for good. Players who had lost enhanced gear and limited-edition fashion items were so furious that they wrote about burning down the Illusion headquarters before quitting the game.
But now a compensation notice comes out so late? Yeo-woon clicked on the link Earth Star had sent and opened it.
Title: Notice of Compensation for Resources and Items Lost Due to PK in Event Map
Author: GM Strawberry
Hello, Illusion players. This is GM Strawberry.
Following the previous bug fix notice, this is an announcement regarding the operating team’s apology and compensation plan for the PK incident that occurred in the ‘Goodbye Winter! Snow Flake’ event map.
The ‘Goodbye Winter! Snow Flake’ event map was created by modifying and combining the existing Monster Tower and Arena systems. In the subjugation battle, the PK function was excluded so that only attacks on event monsters would be registered, so revival due to player kills was completely blocked.
On the 19th, the Moon Fairy’s ‘Double Crow’ skill and ‘Time Bomb’ skill was applied to the supply box, causing the entire event map to be paralyzed. We sincerely apologize for not checking in advance that buffs from wizard-class jobs were being applied to supply boxes during the event preparation process. Although the event map can be used normally after an emergency inspection, the “Mark of Resurrection” item was not properly applied, resulting in death penalties for all players in the map.
This was deemed an abuse of a system loophole, which violates our operating policy, and have temporarily suspended the account of the player involved. We also acknowledge that it was largely our oversight not to double-check the event map for such bugs.
We hereby announce the compensation plan.
[Compensation Plan Announcement]
- All players logged in during the incident: 20 Ice Crystal Draw items
- Players affected by the event map bug: 50 Ice Crystal Draw items and 500 Snowflakes (non-tradeable)
- Items lost due to the death penalty: To be restored via in-game mail
- Players who lost experience due to the death penalty: [Experience Candy] (non-tradable) item containing the corresponding experience points will be distributed to the mailbox.
The compensation mentioned will be distributed through the regular maintenance scheduled for 10 AM the following day. If there are any omissions, please contact us through 1:1 inquiry, and we will strive to address them immediately.
We apologize for the delay in announcing this compensation plan, as we needed time to discuss appropriate compensation for the damage through internal meetings. We humbly accept your interest and criticism regarding this matter.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

“…!”
Everything else aside, if they were restoring the lost items… that meant his muscle rabbit was coming back!
Title: Illusion, the Best Game Ever!
Author: Nannanana/Bella
You sons of b1tches… Don’t manage the game like this again
I’ll forgive you just this once 🙂

– The title is annoying
⤷ What’s wrong? F*** off
– Throwing around “best game ever” too easily.
⤷ Haha, right? Just restoring items doesn’t make it the best game ever lol.
– I wonder if the guild members who quit will all come back ㅜㅜ?
Title: Surprisingly, they’re actually restoring items
Author: BabyShoe/Warrior
Looks like they started to feel the heat because a bunch of streamers and other players quit, LOL tsk tsk I thought they’d just ignore it and move on LOL It’s good that some guild members who quit are coming back, but it’s uncertain if everyone will… If they had resolved everything during the emergency maintenance right after the incident, no one would have quit, right? When they posted the bug fix notice after the emergency maintenance, there wasn’t a single word about compensation, so of course people got pissed off, right?
Seems like there’s no one at Illusion who can think of these basic things tsk tsk

– Just thinking about my lost items being restored brings tears to my eyes ㅜㅜ. I wanted to quit, but I couldn’t. How could I just abandon the stuff I worked so hard to build? ㅜㅜㅜ
⤷ Me too LOL
⤷ Beep boop, brainwashed sheep haha
⤷ㄴ The idiots leaving comments like this all have messed up real lives LOL I can tell what they look like without even seeing them haha
– Huh? They’re returning items?
⤷ㄴ Notice is up
– Since the compensation is being distributed to mailboxes, I wonder if it will actually arrive… lol
– Saying to send a 1:1 inquiry if the items don’t arrive is so irresponsible LOL Are they saying they won’t return items if we don’t inquire?
⤷ Exactly LOL What about people like me who don’t know exactly what items disappeared?
– Why did this take so long? Couldn’t they just check the logs or whatever and click a button to restore the items?
⤷ For real LOL
⤷ They probably didn’t want to give out compensation and were just debating among themselves to cut back on it, lol. So transparent.
– Does this mean that jerk “Sunset” is coming back after six months?
⤷ You think they’ll come back? They’d be too embarrassed haha.
⤷ They’ll probably just make a new account. In my experience, people like that don’t really switch to new games.
⤷ Isn’t that person the guild master? The guild’s gonna fall apart, and it’s gonna be hilarious.
– Praise the best game ever!
⤷ Haha!
⤷ Reported
– They should do a returning player event
⤷ You crazy bastard LOL It hasn’t even been a week
If the game went back to normal, there was no reason for Yeo-woon not to return. And not seeing that white-haired jerk for six months? That was just icing on the cake.
“Ah, you startled me!”
Yoon Ji-gu had suddenly appeared behind him, looking over his shoulder at the phone.
“Do you have something to say?”
“No. I was just curious what you were looking at so intently.”
“It’s nothing.”
“…But don’t you have something to say to me?”
“Me?”
Ji-gu nodded. Yeo-woon thought hard but couldn’t think of anything he wanted to say to Ji-gu. He blinked and slowly shook his head. Momentarily distracted by the compensation notice, he had forgotten, but today’s Ji-gu was somehow strange. The whole way home, he couldn’t shake the feeling that something had changed.
Yeo-woon: Hey
After some deliberation, Yeo-woon decided to confide this worry to a close friend.
Seon-young: What
Yeo-woon: I think my neighbor likes me ㅠㅠ
Seon-young: LOL Lee Yeo-woon
Seon-young: Hahahaha, wtf hahaha.
Seon-young: It’s your karma tsk tsk
Seon-young: Deal with it yourself I’m going to sleep bye
“This jerk…”
Yeo-woon thought it might be time to cut ties with such a useless friend.
He let out a deep sigh, staring at the can of beer Yoon Ji-gu had given him earlier, still not putting it in the fridge. From the way Yoon Ji-gu had acted today, things were becoming clearer.
Staring at him at random times, occasionally blushing. He even took off his full-body swimsuit to show his body. He might be able to fool others, but not someone as perceptive as himself. Yeo-woon frowned as he recalled the weekend evening.
The sound of the movie had quieted, and soon after, something had touched his lips. He was half-asleep and unsure, but…
“…”
Could Yoon Ji-gu have really kissed him that night?
