Se-hyun checked the time on his wristwatch. There were about ten minutes left until his appointment with Shin Tae-oh.

With time to spare, he lowered his hand and looked around. The familiar lobby gave him a feeling that was more than just déjà vu… He had lost a bet and promised to buy a meal, so he chose this hotel as the location.

    There was a reason.

Not knowing when the heat cycle might come, he needed a safe place, and knowing what this hotel meant to Shin Tae-oh, there was no need to think twice.

Se-hyun stood up when he spotted Shin Tae-oh coming in. He raised his voice to greet Shin Tae-oh warmly.

    “Honey.”

Shin Tae-oh, who had been looking around, immediately found Se-hyun.

Se-hyun’s heart swelled at Shin Tae-oh’s intense gaze. Taking a deep breath that raised his shoulders, Se-hyun reached out his hand, his face unable to hide his affection for Tae-oh.

Shin Tae-oh smiled and took his hand.

“Have you been waiting long, sweetie?”

Se-hyun’s lips curled into a smile at the familiar greeting. So he did remember what happened at this hotel.

“Not really. I’ve already checked in, so let’s go up right away.”

Se-hyun pulled Shin Tae-oh’s hand and headed towards the elevator. There were many people in the lobby, and he could feel occasional glances, which made him raise his head even higher.

    Watch closely.

Shin Tae-oh is walking with me.

Shin Tae-oh’s laughter was heard behind Se-hyun’s confident strides as if proving they were not just casual acquaintances.

“Someone might take a picture again.”

If someone from a certain group tried to photograph Shin Tae-oh, they should make sure to capture Se-hyun’s face too.

“Yes. It would be nice to show it to my mother again this time.”

Se-hyun smiled happily at Shin Tae-oh’s words, implying that this time he would introduce Se-hyun as his real lover.

By then, they had reached the elevator, and after confirming the doors were open, they entered side by side.

They looked like a loving couple to anyone who saw them.

When Se-hyun pointed at their reflection in the door, Shin Tae-oh nodded.

‘I used to come to hotels often with the chairman when I was young. Back then, when we took the elevator, there were always couples holding hands tightly, getting on and off together. Seeing men and women smiling at each other, I thought hotels were places you come with someone you love.’

Shin Tae-oh understood Se-hyun’s implication that they were now that couple he had spoken about before. It made Se-hyun happy that some things could be understood without words. And it seemed Shin Tae-oh was as pleased as Se-hyun was happy.

In the reflection, Se-hyun saw Shin Tae-oh move closer to him.

    “I love you.”

Se-hyun froze at the sincere confession, then relaxed as the elevator dinged upon arrival. Forcing himself to move, Se-hyun stepped out of the elevator and belatedly looked up at Shin Tae-oh.

“Did you like that? Want me to say it again?”

Shin Tae-oh, not taking his eyes off Se-hyun’s face, smiled, wrinkling his nose, indicating he would say it more rather than holding back. His eyes suggested he would say it as much as Se-hyun wanted. Se-hyun responded very late.

    “Yes.”

Se-hyun’s face turned slightly red as he said he wanted to hear more.

“I love you. Ahn Se-hyun. I love you. I love you so much.”

Shin Tae-oh’s uninhibited confessions echoed through the hallway. Regardless of who might be in the corridor, Shin Tae-oh said as much as he wanted to say.

I love you. You’re my world. You’re the protagonist of my life. I’ll love only you for the rest of my life.

While passersby might want to pretend they didn’t hear, finding it overly sweet, Se-hyun’s reaction was different.

He kept smiling happily as if he enjoyed hearing it. He was so pleased that his face flushed and his heart raced.

Listening intently, Se-hyun burst into laughter when Shin Tae-oh said, “My naughty one, ‘I love you.” The sudden confession had them standing in the hallway for a while.

    “I guess…”

After pressing Shin Tae-oh’s confessions firmly into his heart, Se-hyun looked towards the room.

“We’ll have to order room service for our meal.”

That wasn’t the original plan. They had intended to dine at a restaurant with a great view, sipping wine in a romantic atmosphere, but it seemed those plans had changed. Se-hyun muttered with a touch of reluctance.

    “Yes. Let’s do that.”

    Shin Tae-oh hugged Se-hyun tightly.

    ⍣⍣⍣

Se-hyun walked down the hallway, letting the front of his shirt flutter. Even though the breeze came in through his light T-shirt, it didn’t really cool him down.

Even though the weather was supposed to be getting warmer, it was still a cold day. Yet for some reason, the hallway felt unbearably hot. Especially after hearing Shin Tae-oh’s confession, his racing heartbeat hadn’t slowed down at all.

‘Did I like it that much?’

He must have loved Shin Tae-oh’s confession for the excited feeling to not subside even now.

Se-hyun walked with Shin Tae-oh, holding the room key he had put in his pocket. Though part of him wanted to rush straight to the room after Shin Tae-oh’s confession, each step felt like a struggle.

Perhaps it was the various reactions caused by his rapidly beating heart. His head felt light and dizzy, and his throat was parched, so he kept licking his lips.

    “Are we… there yet?”

“If the person who checked in is asking that… I guess I should find it.”

Shin Tae-oh, who had been walking ahead holding hands, turned to look at him with a change in tone.

Se-hyun wanted to ask why, but hot air came out of his throat, so he closed his mouth. Instead, he moistened his lips with his tongue, but it felt like the more he did so, the faster his lips dried.

    “Hurry…”

At this point, he was confused about who had actually checked in. As the hallway grew suddenly hotter and his breath quickened, Se-hyun pressed the back of his hand to his cheek, trying to make his sluggish brain work.

Was he just excited because he felt good?

But this feeling seemed familiar from somewhere before.

    “Ah…”

    He remembered.

    Heat cycle.

Se-hyun hadn’t known before how mysterious and profound the world of heat cycles was. It was just like a predictable cold that came on expected days, passing without incident as long as he took suppressants regularly.

But this time, it had come differently. Without time to prepare, his temperature rose, and he had to hastily douse himself with cold water. It seemed to be the same this time.

    “I…”

Se-hyun placed his hand over their interlocked hands.

    “I understand. We’ll go quickly…”

Seeming to notice the heat in Se-hyun’s hand, Shin Tae-oh answered that he would hurry, but stopped after taking two steps.

    “Why…”

Se-hyun wanted to sit down somewhere immediately, but Shin Tae-oh wasn’t moving as he wished. When Shin Tae-oh turned to face him completely, Se-hyun looked up at him as if to ask why.

    “Your face is red.”

Se-hyun exhaled deeply at Shin Tae-oh’s gaze as he lifted Se-hyun’s chin to examine his face. Shin Tae-oh’s cool touch on his skin felt good. He wished Shin Tae-oh would touch him a little more…

“Now I see why you crawled under the shower.”

Seeing Se-hyun’s state flaring up in just a few minutes, Shin Tae-oh clicked his tongue.

    “Come here.”

Se-hyun had been worried about what would happen if they kept standing, but fortunately, Shin Tae-oh moved quickly. When Shin Tae-oh let go of his hand, Se-hyun lost his support and staggered, but didn’t fall.

Because Shin Tae-oh’s hand immediately caught his back. And it didn’t end there – his other hand went under Se-hyun’s knees and lifted him up completely.

“We’ll go quickly, so stop releasing pheromones here.”

As Shin Tae-oh took his hand off Se-hyun’s back to grab the room key, Se-hyun wrapped his empty hands around Shin Tae-oh’s neck.

“Ah, you picked the farthest room.”

    “The noice…”

    Might be heard.

Se-hyun wanted to explain that he was worried about overpowering the hotel’s soundproofing, but the words wouldn’t come out.

“I know. You can stay still. The walls here are pretty thin, though.”

Shin Tae-oh nonchalantly uttered words that would surely offend whoever built the hotel, but he seemed unbothered as he quickly checked the room number.

Then, as if there was nothing to hesitate about, he strode towards the checked-in room. Se-hyun, cradled in Shin Tae-oh’s arms, couldn’t tell if it was the red rug or himself that was swaying, so he closed his eyes completely.

“Is that what happens when you don’t take suppressants?”

When Shin Tae-oh spoke to him, Se-hyun, whose mind was about to settle, forcibly focused his eyes.

    “No…”

It wasn’t because of the suppressants.

There was another reason he was losing his senses so quickly.

Just as they arrived at the room and Shin Tae-oh brought the card to the door, Se-hyun whispered in his ear.

The sound of Se-hyun’s whisper was faint, barely audible, but Shin Tae-oh’s reaction was strong enough to make the veins on the back of his hand stand out.

    “It’s because of you.”

Se-hyun’s single sentence ignited the embers Shin Tae-oh had been trying to suppress.

    ⍣⍣⍣

Se-hyun took in as much pheromone as he wanted through the kisses he shared with Shin Tae-oh. When his throat felt dry, he sucked on Shin Tae-oh’s tongue, and when he craved pheromones, he inhaled deeply.

In this process of gradually quenching his thirst, Se-hyun couldn’t shake off the feeling of insufficiency. Before, he used to flinch and be startled whenever Shin Tae-oh touched his body, but now he wanted more.

The instinct fueled by the heat cycle kept pushing away his reason.

He wished Shin Tae-oh would touch him more, and he wanted to touch Shin Tae-oh.

Before the thought could finish, Se-hyun grabbed Shin Tae-oh’s waistband. Wanting to take out what was inside right away, he roughly pushed his fingers into Shin Tae-oh’s pants.

“Se-hyun. I’ll take them off, so wait a moment.”

    “Hurry…”

Se-hyun couldn’t wait. He wanted to grab the swollen thing beyond the fabric right now.

“Alright, but you’ll break your nails trying to undo my pants like that.”

As Se-hyun was just scratching at the buckle, lacking the composure to undo it, Tae-oh hurriedly unfastened it. There was no need to pull the pants down; Se-hyun’s hand had already yanked down the waistband of his briefs and forced its way inside.

    “Ugh.”

    “Hah.”

Se-hyun tilted his head back with a moan the moment he grabbed what he wanted, as the thickening pheromones filled the air. Shin Tae-oh let out a low groan as his heated shaft was firmly grasped.

    “The smell…”

Se-hyun felt utterly satisfied as the pheromones he had felt lacking were filled, but he still craved more, so he lowered his head. He licked his lips as the waistband slid slightly down, revealing Shin Tae-oh’s pubic hair and the base of his d1ck.

He wanted to get a little closer to the pubic hair and d1ck that were slightly visible as the waistband lowered a bit.

He wanted to bury his nose and smell it.

This time too, Se-hyun moved according to his desire. He slid down the wall to sit, staring directly at Shin Tae-oh’s d1ck from up close.
