UI Chapter 65
by SuxxiThe next morning, the two of them went to pick up Xu Huijuan from the hospital.
Since they hadn’t gone home the previous night, they were still wearing the clothes that had been laundered at the hotel. Shen Ran felt a little guilty, but thankfully, Xu Huijuan didn’t notice. Her attention was entirely on Zhao Jiyu, chatting with him about their school and asking what Shen Ran was like in class.
Zhao Jiyu was driving, but he answered all her questions without hesitation. When the conversation got lively, he even added extra details on his own. Shen Ran, sitting in the passenger seat, kept giving him looks to stop, but it was useless—Xu Huijuan was delighted, smiling the entire way home.
When they arrived, Aunt Wen was already busy in the kitchen. Xu Huijuan wanted to go upstairs to take a shower and reminded Shen Ran to take good care of Zhao Jiyu. Since she looked well, Shen Ran simply told her to be careful. As he stepped out, he noticed that Zhao Jiyu had also gone upstairs and was now standing in the middle of the hallway.
Shen Ran quickly walked up to him, but before he could speak, Zhao Jiyu asked,
“Which one is your room?”
“What do you want?” Shen Ran asked suspiciously.
“I just want to see your room,” Zhao Jiyu said with a smile. His bright eyes, partially hidden behind thin glasses, suddenly reminded Shen Ran of the pair of eyes shining beneath the starry sky last night. By the time he snapped out of his thoughts, the door to his room was already open.
Shen Ran’s two-story home had been built when his parents got married. The second floor had four large rooms. Zhao Jiyu walked in and took a look around. Shen Ran’s room still retained its high school appearance, with posters of basketball stars on the walls. Beside the desk, two large bookshelves stood—one packed with textbooks and study guides, the other filled entirely with books on Chinese history and geography.
Zhao Jiyu pulled out a history book and asked,
“Why do you have so many of these?”
“Some belonged to my dad, and the rest I bought myself.”
Pausing his page-turning, Zhao Jiyu looked at him and asked, “Did your dad influence you to study history?”
“Half and half, I guess.”
Shen Ran sat on the edge of his desk, his gaze sweeping around the room.
Zhao Jiyu walked up to him. “And the other half? Because of my uncle?”
“Yeah.” Shen Ran nodded.
“Back then, I thought Professor Zhao was really cool. He even told me about some of his research. I didn’t understand much, but it seemed interesting.”
Zhao Jiyu chuckled softly. Shen Ran looked into his clear, damp eyes and asked,
“What about you? Did you choose history because of your uncle too?”
“Pretty much.” Zhao Jiyu put the book down, walked over, and closed the door—locking it as well.
Shen Ran immediately guessed what he was up to, and sure enough, the next moment, Zhao Jiyu leaned in and kissed him.
Shen Ran wanted to remind him that they were at home and should behave, but he never got the chance to speak. Even his attempt to push Zhao Jiyu away was skillfully neutralized. In the end, all that remained were the rapid beats of his heart and the sound of their deepening kiss. His oxygen-deprived brain clung to a single thought—he couldn’t make a sound and risk being overheard outside.
Zhao Jiyu didn’t take things too far. When he felt it was enough, he stopped and let Shen Ran rest his face against his chest to calm down.
Breathing in the faint scent of the hotel’s laundry detergent on Zhao Jiyu’s T-shirt, Shen Ran suddenly recalled their situation that morning when Zhao Jiyu had woken him up. His breath faltered slightly.
If they were really together, would this be how every morning started?
After holding him for a while, Zhao Jiyu let go just as Aunt Wen called from downstairs. Shen Ran went down to help, while Zhao Jiyu stayed in the room to make a couple of phone calls.
During lunch, Shen Ran asked why Xie Heyang hadn’t come over. Aunt Wen explained that he had been transferred to the town and could only visit on weekends now.
After the meal, Xu Huijuan suggested that Shen Ran show Zhao Jiyu around. They got in the car and hadn’t driven far from the house when they ran into the middle-aged couple from last time.
Shen Ran simply closed his eyes and pretended to be asleep. This time, the couple didn’t come over to greet them with fake enthusiasm. Instead, they just stared coldly at Zhao Jiyu’s car, watching it even as it drove away.
Zhao Jiyu asked, “Who are they?”
“They used to know my dad.” Shen Ran adjusted his seatback to its normal position.
“They’re famous in the village for being opportunists. When my dad was around and could help them, they were all friendly. But after he passed, they stopped keeping in touch.”
Remembering how sycophantic the couple had been last time, Zhao Jiyu glanced at them again through the rearview mirror.
Shen Ran continued,
“This kind of thing happens all the time in the countryside. Don’t let it bother you.”
Zhao Jiyu turned to look at Shen Ran. He was facing the car window, but even from the side, it was clear how impatient he felt. Zhao Jiyu reached for Shen Ran’s left hand, resting on his thigh, and said,
“I only care about you. Besides you, the only other person I care about is my mother-in-law. So don’t worry.”
The mention of “mother-in-law” instantly pulled Shen Ran out of his mood. He glanced at Zhao Jiyu, who was smiling.
Looking into those curved eyes, bright and clear like a silver moon, Shen Ran forgot what he had wanted to say. He turned his face away again, but the corners of his lips couldn’t help but lift into a smile.
Xu Huijuan asked Shen Ran to take Zhao Jiyu out for a stroll, but their village didn’t have many scenic spots. The only place worth seeing was the area around the dam.
Zhao Jiyu drove them there, and the two walked along the long stretch of rocky shore. He noticed that the pebbles here had beautiful colors and pulled Shen Ran along to pick some up. They gathered a variety of stones, differing in shape and size.
Shen Ran wasn’t interested in collecting stones and asked what he was going to do with them. Zhao Jiyu said that the smaller ones could go in a fish tank, while the bigger ones had another purpose. When Shen Ran asked what purpose, he simply smiled mysteriously and didn’t answer.
Before stepping into the water, Shen Ran rolled up the cuffs of his jeans to his knees. The gentle current washed over his feet, driving away the lingering summer heat. After finishing his stone-picking, Zhao Jiyu also rolled up his pant legs and waded into the water.
When Shen Ran turned his head and saw Zhao Jiyu standing against the sunlight, he suddenly let out a laugh.
“What’s so funny?” Zhao Jiyu walked over and asked.
Shen Ran took out his phone, snapped a photo, and handed it over.
“You look so different from usual.”
Glancing at the screen, Zhao Jiyu chuckled.
“What, are you saying I don’t attract you like this?”
Everything Zhao Jiyu was wearing—including his underwear—belonged to Shen Ran. Every time he thought about that, his body inexplicably heated up. Standing in the middle of the open stream, with no place to hide, he worried that Zhao Jiyu might notice his expression. So, he stepped out of the water from the other side and said,
“Let’s go. Let’s find another place to walk around.”
Zhao Jiyu watched his back for a moment before following him onto the shore.
Back in the car, Zhao Jiyu asked if that patch of forest was still there.
That forest was where they had first met. Shen Ran had actually thought about visiting it before Zhao Jiyu even brought it up. So, he led the way. They drove along winding roads for half an hour until they reached the closest spot to the forest entrance.
Getting out of the car, they followed the narrow path inside. The afternoon heat was intense, and after walking for ten minutes, Shen Ran started fanning himself with his hand. Zhao Jiyu handed him a tissue to wipe his sweat while he continued scanning the surroundings.
It had been seven or eight years since Shen Ran last stepped into this forest. That evening when he came looking for Zhao Jiyu, it had already been dusk, and he had wandered through several twists and turns without finding him.
Just as Zhao Jiyu unscrewed a bottle of water and handed it to him, reminding him to take a break, Shen Ran suddenly pointed ahead in excitement.
“I found it!”
Zhao Jiyu followed him over, still finding the area unfamiliar. But then, Shen Ran walked behind a tall tree, peeked out, and smiled at him.
“You were sitting right here back then.”
Seeing the joy on Shen Ran’s face, Zhao Jiyu also smiled. He looked around while Shen Ran drank some water, then leaned against the tree trunk and sat down, mimicking his old posture as he tilted his head up and asked, “Was it like this?”
Even though he hadn’t pulled down his sweatpants, Zhao Jiyu spread his long legs open slightly and placed his hands near his waistband, looking up at Shen Ran in the exact same way as back then.
Shen Ran froze mid-action, his hand gripping the water bottle, as time seemed to rewind slowly with the gentle breeze of Lin Wen. The shadows of the surrounding trees flickered, and Zhao Jiyu’s appearance overlapped with that sweaty young boy from years ago. The rapid, suppressed breathing echoed deep in Shen Ran’s mind, while the phone in his left hand displayed a somewhat blurry screen, though the content was unforgettable.
Back then, Zhao Jiyu had been staring intently at his phone, and now, he was looking at him with the same focused expression.
Seeing Shen Ran staring at him in a daze, Zhao Jiyu extended his hand. “Come here.”
As if compelled by some unseen force, Shen Ran took that hand and sat beside Zhao Jiyu.
Zhao Jiyu tightened his grip and used his other hand to unlock the phone. After tapping a few times, a heavy breathing sound played through the speaker. When Shen Ran saw what was on the screen, he almost choked on his own saliva.
Zhao Jiyu had actually played that kind of movie. The content was eerily similar to what he had seen years ago. Turning the phone horizontally, Zhao Jiyu looked at him and asked, “And then?”
“…What?” Shen Ran was caught off guard, but when Zhao Jiyu remained silent, still staring at him, he suddenly realized what the unfinished question meant.
Feeling uneasy, he averted his gaze toward another tree nearby. Zhao Jiyu, however, kept his eyes on his changing expression and leaned in.
“How long did you sneak a peek at me that day?”
Shen Ran was already embarrassed, but hearing this made him even more flustered. He turned back, intending to explain, but because Zhao Jiyu was so close, their lips nearly touched.
He held his breath, completely forgetting to retreat. Only when Zhao Jiyu slightly adjusted his angle and kissed him did he realize what was happening.
Their lips brushed lightly before parting—so quick and fleeting that Shen Ran didn’t even have time to react. In fact, as Zhao Jiyu pulled away, Shen Ran instinctively parted his lips, as if trying to welcome him back.
Seeing through his reaction, Zhao Jiyu smirked. Just as Shen Ran was about to turn away in embarrassment, Zhao Jiyu cupped his chin and locked eyes with him.
“Do you know why I wanted to come here?”
What happened back then was a secret only the two of them knew. Shen Ran wasn’t stupid—he could understand Zhao Jiyu’s intention in bringing him back to this place.
He swallowed and gave a small nod.
Zhao Jiyu’s gaze lowered slightly, his eyes fixed on Shen Ran’s tightly pressed lips.
“Then don’t you think it’s time you gave me an answer?”
Shen Ran looked into Zhao Jiyu’s eyes—those long, curved lashes cast a faint shadow, veiling the clear light within. But he could still remember exactly how those eyes had always looked at him.
From cautious probing at the beginning to an ambiguous tension, and finally to an open confession, Zhao Jiyu’s gaze had fallen upon him more and more often. Shen Ran had grown used to being watched, to the point where if Zhao Jiyu didn’t look at him, he would feel an inexplicable sense of loss and unease.
Once suppressed emotions and desires, once they broke free, became an overwhelming tide of courage and passion.
He closed his eyes, leaned forward slightly, and, for the first time, kissed Zhao Jiyu.
Like a stone thrown forcefully into a calm lake, this time, it was Zhao Jiyu who found himself pinned against the tree trunk, with Shen Ran’s knees pressing into the ground. The water bottle in his hand slipped to the ground, its loose cap rolling away, spilling water into the soil. But neither of them noticed, nor did they care.
Shen Ran pushed Zhao Jiyu back against the tree, his tongue invading his mouth, mimicking what Zhao Jiyu had done to him before—fierce, relentless, not giving him a moment to breathe. Not until Zhao Jiyu pressed both hands against his chest, pushing him slightly.
Shen Ran paused for a moment. Zhao Jiyu’s eyes were tinged with a faint red, reminiscent of peach blossoms drifting into a spring stream.
Unable to resist, Shen Ran leaned in again, kissing the smooth skin at the corner of Zhao Jiyu’s eyes—gentle, lingering. Finally, he bit down on Zhao Jiyu’s lips once more.
He had never been so proactive before. Soon, Zhao Jiyu was overwhelmed by his intense kisses, becoming somewhat unable to resist. Grasping his nape, he kneaded it, and as they briefly separated, he lifted his chin.
Shen Ran only glanced before burying his face again. Then, he felt Zhao Jiyu falter and lean down, pulling him along. By the time he regained his senses, they were embracing.
Zhao Jiyu was on top of Shen Ran, straddling his legs, lowering his head to kiss him while simultaneously lifting his T-shirt hem. His fingers found the right nipple, and as soon as he pinched it, he felt Shen Ran’s eyes open, his hand reaching down to grab him. Zhao Jiyu knew all his sensitive spots and exactly what would bring him pleasure. His lips traced a path down Shen Ran’s chin, pausing near his Adam’s apple.
Shen Ran had previously kissed his Adam’s apple, so he extended his tongue to lightly lick Shen Ran’s, eliciting a suppressed sound before taking it into his mouth.
The delicate area was being teased, sending shivers of pleasure through Shen Ran’s body, causing his toes to curl.
The lush canopy of leaves overhead blurred into his vision, and his grip on Zhao Jiyu’s wrist loosened, his hand moving to grasp the hair at the back of Zhao Jiyu’s head. Noticing this, Zhao Jiyu released his Adam’s apple, licking and sucking on his collarbone a few times before moving down, stopping at his right chest through the soft fabric of his T-shirt.
Zhao Jiyu’s fingertips still pinched Shen Ran’s nipple, not yet applying any rubbing or kneading, but the small bud had already become fully erect.
Watching the fabric outline the shape of his fingers and the nipple, he smiled, extending his tongue to lick the point. Just as expected, he was rewarded with Shen Ran’s muffled moan. Lifting the T-shirt hem, Zhao Jiyu took the swollen, reddened nipple into his mouth, his tongue swirling around the surface. He felt Shen Ran’s legs press together, clamping him in place.
Zhao Jiyu’s left hand slid down, feeling the bulge straining against his jeans.
Carefully unzipping him, he continued his ministrations with his mouth, his fingers slipping inside the zipper, feeling the dampness on the fabric of his underwear.
Shen Ran covered his eyes with his arm, his moans unstoppable.
Zhao Jiyu released his nipple, admiring the swollen, engorged bud, then repeated the same caresses on the left side.
Zhao Jiyu was exceptionally patient today. While licking his nipple, his hand didn’t stop, but only occasionally caressed the hardened shaft through his underwear. Shen Ran’s waist had involuntarily arched several times, and Zhao Jiyu knew what he wanted, but deliberately withheld it.
When his left nipple was also sore from the teasing, Shen Ran finally couldn’t bear it anymore. He released the hem of his T-shirt and reached down to grab Zhao Jiyu’s wrist.
Zhao Jiyu stopped, watching him use his hand to unbutton his jeans. Because he couldn’t see and only had one hand, Shen Ran struggled with the button, tugging it impatiently. Zhao Jiyu helped him, and once it was undone, Shen Ran grabbed his hand again, pressing it directly onto his throbbing erection.
Shen Ran hadn’t said a word from beginning to end, nor had he removed the arm covering his face, but he had expressed his desire for Zhao Jiyu through his actions.
He had already gone to great lengths, and Zhao Jiyu didn’t make him wait any longer.
Feeling his underwear being pulled down, the constant pressure on his erection disappeared. He thought Zhao Jiyu would take him in hand, but after a moment, he was met with a warm, wet sensation.
Before he could look down, Shen Ran cried out uncontrollably, his spine tensing, his hips involuntarily lifting.
Zhao Jiyu gripped his outstretched hand, trying his best to take him deep into his throat, enduring the discomfort to pleasure him.
Compared to Shen Ran’s first experience of such intense oral pleasure, this was also Zhao Jiyu’s first time. Despite mentally preparing himself, it was still challenging. Shen Ran’s size was considerable, and Zhao Jiyu could only manage to take half of him, using his hand for the rest.
His erection had been engorged for too long, and his testicles were swollen.
Zhao Jiyu cupped them in his palm, kneading them with masculine force to bring Shen Ran pleasure. The erection in his mouth responded strongly to his licking and sucking, the tip oozing clear, sticky fluid that mixed with his saliva and disappeared into his thick pubic hair.
Zhao Jiyu held Shen Ran’s left hand, their palms sweaty, while Shen Ran’s right hand tightly twisted the fabric of his T-shirt against his chest, the force causing the veins on his hand to bulge, unable to suppress the surging pleasure in his groin.
He couldn’t describe this feeling of losing control.
The wet, warm, tight embrace was already overwhelming, but what was even more overwhelming was that Zhao Jiyu was the one doing it.
When he first entered Zhao Jiyu’s mouth, he had thought about stopping him, but his words were drowned out by the strange and overwhelming pleasure. His body’s instincts quickly succumbed to desire, and as his consciousness dissolved into chaos, all he wanted was release.
He wanted Zhao Jiyu to take him deeper, faster.
The sunlight filtering through the leaves became blinding as the angle changed, and he turned his face away, staring at the thick tree trunk in front of him, instinctively reaching out to grab it, his fingers digging into the rough bark.
After another deep throat and sucking from Zhao Jiyu, he finally reached his limit, his fingers digging into the crevices of the bark, unable to suppress his cries.
The swaying green leaves blurred into his vision, but he couldn’t see anything. His vision was a white haze, as if he were standing in a snowy landscape, yet his body burned like fire.
His thick, white semen shot into Zhao Jiyu’s mouth, which Zhao Jiyu swallowed.
Shen Ran sank into the deep sea of pleasure, like a drifting water plant, yet someone was always guiding him, preventing him from getting lost. When he finally came to, he realized that the guide was Zhao Jiyu’s hand, which had never let go.
