The movie they watched together was about a man born with memories of his past, who repeats three cycles of regression while waiting for his wife. It was an ordinary film – moderately sad, moderately cheerful, and moderately calm. Time flew by as they crunched popcorn, laughed, and teared up.

Jeong-yoon cleaned up his empty popcorn container and walked outside with the two.

“They say the lead actor and actress started dating while filming this.”

“No wonder. Their kiss scene was full of personal feelings.”

While chatting about trivial things, they reached outside the theater. Mi-hee, turning the corner, nudged Jeong-yoon.

    “Jeong-yoon. Look there.”

Jeong-yoon, who had been giggling while looking at Mi-hee and Park Tae-won’s direction, turned his head. There was Chae-heon, leaning against the wall.

He was smiling handsomely while watching Jeong-yoon come out of the theater. His figure appeared and disappeared like an illusion through the dispersing crowd.

Though Jeong-yoon wondered why he was here, he was simply happy to see him and walked straight through the crowd. Mi-hee, walking with him, laughed in disbelief.

“Earlier when Chae-heon called asking where you were, and now he’s here.”

    “Chae-heon asked you?”

“Yeah. Your dinner plans are with Chae-heon, right? Looks like he came to pick you up.”

“Seems so. See, I told you Chae-heon is kind.”

    “Kind? More like a dad?”

Jeong-yoon smiled quietly at Mi-hee’s words. Dad. Yes, he was like a dad. Always taking care of everything, picking him up, dropping him off, buying him good food. Sometimes scolding him like a father would. But in the end, he would always soothe him gently like a child, making him feel like an elementary school student when he was with Kang Chae-heon.

As Jeong-yoon approached, Chae-heon raised the corner of his mouth with his usual kind face. Then very naturally, he put his arm around Jeong-yoon’s shoulder and pulled him close. He nodded a greeting to Mi-hee who had followed, then even spoke friendly words to Park Tae-won.

“Hello. This is our second meeting.”

“Yes. We met in front of the library before. You said you were Mi-hee and Jeong-yoon’s friend, right?”

Park Tae-won seemed to immediately recall their first meeting upon seeing Chae-heon. That strange, not-so-pleasant first meeting. It was clear from the slight wariness that appeared on Park Tae-won’s face.

But nevertheless, Park Tae-won also greeted him with a smile. Even if inside he was thinking ‘What’s with this guy? Does he have a split personality?’, his face didn’t show it.

Jeong-yoon poked Chae-heon’s arm playfully and asked:

    “How did you get here?”

    “I drove.”

    “Why?”

    “To see you.”

After calmly delivering that somewhat ticklish response, Chae-heon glanced at his wristwatch. Then he spoke casually to Mi-hee.

“Well then, Jeong-yoon and I will leave without disturbing you two. Have a good evening.”

Chae-heon spoke lightly to Mi-hee. He didn’t forget to say goodbye to Park Tae-won either.

Jeong-yoon stared up at Chae-heon blankly. Though he wondered where his opinion was in all this, seeing Chae-heon wrap up the meeting so confidently and naturally, he couldn’t say anything. He could only stand there, wide-eyed, as everything unfolded before him.

But it was always like this. When Chae-heon came crashing like a wave, he would just sway like seaweed floating on that wave, being swept along.

After ending the meeting that way, Chae-heon and Jeong-yoon moved locations. Jeong-yoon slightly hunched his shoulders while walking. Chae-heon’s fingers had slipped under his collar as he held him, subtly brushing and touching his skin, which was quite ticklish.

Walking while pulling Jeong-yoon along, Chae-heon said in an amused voice:

“Jeong-yoon. Why didn’t you answer my calls?”

    “We just talked earlier.”

“Ah. You mean after I sent four messages and called three times?”

Why did his kind and affectionate voice feel so ominous?

Jeong-yoon glanced at Chae-heon’s expression. But his face looked relaxed as always, so he dismissed his doubts. He must have misread the situation.

    “I’m sorry I couldn’t answer. It wasn’t on purpose.”

“It’s okay. Just don’t do it next time.”

    “Yeah. I won’t.”

Somehow they naturally promised about next time, like flowing water. Chae-heon looked at his watch again and walked faster.

    “Let’s go. It’s time.”

    “Time for what?”

    “Movie time.”

Jeong-yoon stared at Chae-heon’s profile with a puzzled face.

“You’re watching that movie with me, right?”

As he removed his hand that was still touching his skin, Chae-heon wrapped his arm around Jeong-yoon’s again and answered,

“Who else would I watch it with besides you? Want some popcorn?”

    “No, I ate some earlier.”

    “Then let’s go straight in.”

Reflexively nodding, Jeong-yoon slowly moved his feet, following Chae-heon who was pulling him along. Looking back, he had always been like a piece of seaweed floating on the waves drifting along with Chae-heon’s strong current.

Somehow, Jeong-yoon found themselves sitting in the back row of the theater again, vacantly staring at the screen. The difference from before was that instead of Park Tae-won and Mi-hee, Chae-heon was the one sitting beside him. It was his first time watching two movies in one day, and back-to-back at that.

The movie wasn’t anything special. It was an action film with flying cars and exploding buildings, but he was so distracted by Chae-heon sitting next to them that they couldn’t even tell if the protagonist was firing metal bullets or love bullets.

Jeong-yoon placed his hands neatly on his knees and sat up straight. He was just sitting quietly with his shoulder touching Chae-heon’s, but Jeong-yoon couldn’t understand why he was trembling so much.

Perhaps it was because the current situation felt like a real date. No, it wasn’t just that it felt like a date—it was a date. The kind that normal couples have.

Ordinary moments became special when beside Kang Chae-heon. It was the same now. Jeong-yoon glanced up at Chae-heon who was immersed in the movie, then lowered his gaze to the armrest. He could see Chae-heon’s large, elongated hand with slightly protruding veins – such a masculine hand. If only they had bought popcorn, their fingers might have brushed accidentally. He suddenly regretted refusing the popcorn earlier.

He licked his dry lips as he glanced sideways. A restless desire to hold Chae-heon’s hand surged within him.

Would it be okay? Should he do it? After a brief deliberation,Jeong-yoon decided to go for it. After all, he’d even touched his most intimate parts before – how hard could holding hands be?

Jeong-yoon looked at his hand like studying homework, waiting for an opportunity. His heart pounded in sync with the movie’s explosive sound effects. His hand gleamed dimly in the screen’s light, then darkened. When their bodies were completely engulfed in darkness, Jeong-yoon gathered his courage and placed his hand on top of Chae-heon’s.

Just as Jeong-yoon’s trembling fingers slightly grazed Chae-heon’s hand, he moved. Jeong-yoon jerked back like someone caught stealing.

The darkness above Jeong-yoon’s head deepened. Chae-heon had leaned in. Lowering his head close to his face, he secretly slipped his fingers between Jeong-yoon’s and whispered in his ear.

“Let’s go home after the movie.”

Chase-heon’s low voice tickled his insides, making it feel eerily thrilling as the hair on his neck stood up. Jeong-yoon slowly turned his head. The flames from the screen flickered in Chae-heon’s eyes.

“What about the pub…?” Jeong-yoon asked, his voice barely audible.

Chae-heon leaned in closer, pressing his lips silently against Jeong-yoon’s ear before pulling away. Behind the soft touch of his lips, his husky voice resonated.

    “Next time.”

    “…Okay.”

The end of his response trembled slightly. Knowing what he meant by “let’s go home,” Jeong-yoon’s expression kept faltering when it should have been calm.

As Jeong-yoon looked into Chae-heon’s eyes, the yellow light from the screen flickered and swayed. Chae-heon, who was gazing into Jeong-yoon’s eyes, pulled Jeong-yoon’s hand toward him and spoke again.

    “Let’s just leave now.”

There was no time to object. Chae-heon stood up first, took Jeong-yoon’s hand, and headed straight for the theater’s back door.

On the screen, a plane was exploding, and cars were flying through the air, but Jeong-yoon’s heart felt like a similar spectacle. His heart raced as if it would burst out of his chest, and fireworks exploded above his head. He knew exactly where their footsteps were headed.

     ***

Behind the front door, the sound of t0ngues tangling echoed wetly.

    “Ugh….”

After Jeong-yoon’s hazy m0an, the sound of the lock clicking shut followed.

He didn’t know how he had gotten this far. As soon as they left the theater, he was pulled into the car by Chae-heon, and when he came to his senses, he was in front of the apartment.

That was all he could recall. After taking the elevator up, as soon as he opened the front door, Chae-heon kissed him and pushed him inside.

It was a very hazy world after that. Trapped against the wall next to the front door by Chae-heon, he desperately clung to his neck. The hands that firmly gripped his cheeks were incredibly warm.

Heat was rising from their bodies, which were pressed tightly together. The t0ngue that invaded his mouth, the neck that brushed against his arm, and the body that pressed against him were all filled with warmth.

Chae-heon bit his lips and pushed his t0ngue inside. His t0ngue that swept through his teeth and wrapped around his t0ngue root also swept the roof of his mouth. Every time Chae-heon changed the angle of his face and touched him, Jeong-yoon flinched and barely managed to keep up. Even the feel of his hair brushing over his face felt tingly.

    “…Ungh….”

Chae-heon’s kiss was particularly urgent and rough today. The weight of his body pressing against him made it hard to breathe. The wall against his back was very hard. Chae-heon’s body, which was pushing against him, was the same. The hardness pressing against his lower abdomen was frighteningly prominent.

Jeong-yoon felt suffocated, and his head was spinning. As he hung onto Chae-heon’s neck, exhaling heavily, Chae-heon seemed to swallow that sigh as he pulled him in closer.

Soon, Jeong-yoon’s body slightly detached  from the wall as Chae-heon pulled and pushed him, and he began to back away from the entrance, into the hallway. Under the window that filled the living room, the red glow of the setting sun quietly descended. It wasn’t long before their bodies fell onto the bed.

Leaning against the undulating bed, Jeong-yoon struggled to hold Chae-heon close as he squeezed himself between his legs. Chae-heon with his mouth still pressed against Jeong-yoon’s, roughly tossed his shirt behind him. The shirt fell silently onto the floor, where the soft glow of the setting sun painted the room in warm hues.

With a wet sound, the flesh that had been tangled in their mouths separated. Through the gap between their parted lips, Jeong-yoon managed to exhale a strained breath.

    “Haah… ha…”

But before he could calm his rapid breathing, he gasped again, inhaling sharply. That was because Chae-heon, who had been repeatedly pressing his lips to Jeong-yoon’s nape, pushed his hot hand under his shirt. His hands that were caressing Jeong-yoon’s body were just as hasty as his kisses.

Chae-heon rubbed his forehead against Jeong-yoon’s shoulder, then trailed his hand down his waist. His slightly rough, firm palm grazed his skin, dangerously close. His t0ngue glided across his collarbone. The hand that had been caressing his waist came up and immediately began to gently rub his n1pple.

Before, Chae-heon would spend time caressing Jeong-yoon’s waist and lower abdomen to prepare him, but today, as if Chae-heon didn’t even have the time to do that, his hands did not hesitate to reach his erogenous zone.

    “Mmm…”

Chae-heon’s thumb pressed firmly on Jeong-yoon’s n1pple before releasing it, causing the nub that had retracted to emerge again. Chae-heon rubbed it again, creating friction and flicking it teasingly.

Jeong-yoon’s waist trembled. Each time Chae-heon stroked his areola and rubbed his n1pple, a faint pleasure ran down Jeong-yoon’s spine. Jeong-yoon buried his hand in Chae-heon’s hair as his shoulder shivered slightly. Chae-heon’s hair felt slightly cool and very soft between his fingers.

    “Ah! Ahh… Nngh…”

Jeong-yoon had never known that men could have such sensitive spots. Just having his n1pples touched was enough to elicit m0ans of ticklish pleasure from deep in his belly. As Jeong-yoon’s moans echoed in his ears, Chae-heon, who had been pressing his lips to Jeong-yoon’s nape, also let out a hot sigh.

Chae-heon pushed his head under Jeong-yoon’s t-shirt and immediately took the erect n1pple hidden beneath into his mouth. He svcked and rubbed the n1pple caught on the tip of his t0ngue while using his hand to pinch and gently rub the opposite n1pple.

    “Ah… Ahh, nnh.”

As the dry hand and wet t0ngue tormented both sides, Jeong-yoon tilted his chin slightly and let out pained m0ans.

Chae-heon teased by lightly brushing around the areola with the tip of his t0ngue. Jeong-yoon barely managed to embrace Chae-heon’s head that was visible only as a shape under his shirt. He couldn’t gather his senses amidst the strange sensations happening out of sight inside. The afternoon sunlight beating down on his tightly closed eyelids felt especially hot today.

The highly aroused n1pple was gently nibbled between Chae-heon’s teeth. Along with a faint pain, a tingling pleasure that reached to his fingertips coiled in his lower abdomen. Between fading m0ans, he called Chae-heon’s name.

    “Nnh… Kang, Chae-heon… Chae-heon.”

    “Mm…”

Chae-heon, who had been biting Jeong-yoon’s n1pple, answered roughly. The sensation of Chae-heon’s nose bridge touching Jeong-yoon’s waist and his slippery t0ngue sliding down Jeong-yoon’s body felt unreal in its lewdness. With a flushed face, Jeong-yoon hazily let his true feelings spill out.

“I want to see your face…”

Would Chae-heon’s face be flushed like his own? What would his eyes look like now? He wanted to see everything about him. It felt wonderful to have Chae-heon hidden under his shirt, kissing him all over, but at the same time it felt like a thin wall had formed between them.

Chae-heon laughed softly against Jeong-yoon’s stomach. His hot breath spread achingly across Jeong-yoon’s skin.

Emerging from under the shirt, Chae-heon slightly raised Jeong-yoon’s upper body and pulled off his clothes. His touch stroked Jeong-yoon’s back as if comforting him. With one hand caressing Jeong-yoon’s back, Chae-heon used his other hand to remove Jeong-yoon’s pants.

There was a rustling sound of fabric, and when Jeong-yoon came to his senses, he found himself pinned beneath Chae-heon in just his underwear.
