Finally, the final exams were over. Chae-heon, whose exams had finished a day earlier, had been waiting outside the lecture hall throughout Jeong-yoon’s last exam. And the moment Jeong-yoon handed in his paper and came outside, he snatched him away.

Led by Chae-heon’s hand, Jeong-yoon went to his house, ate something, showered, and changed into clothes he had prepared. It was like being a paper doll on strings, being swept along and swayed by his owner, Kang Chae-heon.

After eating and washing, he came to his senses and found himself on the bed near the large window in the living room. The faint light of the dark night sky settled beneath the thin curtain.

Chae-heon’s body, embracing them from behind, was very hot, as was his breath touching his neck suggestively. His partially aroused self was pressing against him embarrassingly.

‘Didn’t he say we’d do it in Jeju, but is he planning to do it now…?’

As Jeong-yoon swallowed nervously, Chae-heon soon pressed his lips to the back of  his neck.

    “For now, sleep.”

    “……”

The words felt like a spell. Apparently, he wasn’t planning to do it now. Jeong-yoon closed his eyes gently. He was already tired from not sleeping properly while preparing for exams. He smiled slightly at the warmth embracing him from behind before falling into a distant world.

After sleeping deeply, he woke to rustling sounds. In the darkness, Chae-heon was moving alone.

    What was he doing?

Jeong-yoon observed him with a face that still hadn’t shaken off the sleepiness. After placing bags and a carrier by the entrance, Chae-heon came back to Jeong-yoon. Then he softly kissed the tip of his nose as he barely kept his eyes open.

    “Awake?”

    “Yeah.”

    “Then let’s wash up.”

Chae-heon put his arms under Jeong-yoon’s armpits, lifted him completely, and brought him into the bathroom. He even leaned against the bathroom doorframe with his arms crossed. Jeong-yoon washed his face and brushed his teeth while feeling Chae-heon’s gaze over his entire body. By the time he was drying his face with a towel, the sleepiness that had enveloped his body had mostly faded.

Pushing back his wet bangs, Jeong-yoon asked,

“Where are we going at this hour?”

    “Jeju Island.”

    “Jeju Island?”

Nodding once, Chae-heon wrapped an arm around Jeong-yoon’s shoulders and moved thim to the entrance. It seemed like he meant to hurry up and go.

Jeong-yoon walked as if being dragged with a dumbfounded expression, but when he met the cold corridor air outside the entrance, he finally came to his senses and smiled. It was truly a mysterious schedule.

In the car, Chae-heon pushed Jeong-yoon’s seat back as far as possible, reclined the backrest significantly, and even put a sleeping mask on him – even though it was already dark outside.

“Sleep more. It’ll take some time.”

“How can I sleep alone while you’re driving?”

    “Just sleep.”

When he lifted the sleeping mask slightly while speaking, Chae-heon pushed it back into place. Jeong-yoon’s already dark world became even darker.

    “I don’t need this – it’s night so it’s not bright.”

    “There are streetlights.”

    “I see.”

Jeong-yoon accepted this reasoning and lay quietly in the darkness. Soon something pressed against his lips with a soft kiss before pulling away.

It was Chae-heon’s lips. After that, he kissed him several more times with little pecks, then slightly licked and bit his lips before raising his lowered upper body.

As Chae-heon’s body moved away from covering him, Jeong-yoon finally let out a soft sigh.

The car started with its characteristic heavy engine sound. Jeong-yoon didn’t know what to make of it anymore. How they were going to Jeju Island in the middle of the night, whether there was even a flight to Jeju at this hour, and why he was lying next to Chae-heon with an eye mask on as if riding a sleigh.

But Jeong-yoon erased all such doubts. If Chae-heon said to go, he would follow him even to hell. Just a few kisses had led to such ridiculous thoughts.

    ***

He fell asleep again and slept soundly. As he gradually awakened from his deep sleep state, the distant outside was now bathed in blue dawn light.

Even while sleeping, he occasionally felt it. Chae-heon used one hand while driving to stroke his hair, touch his cheek, and caress his hand. Jeong-yoon loved those touches so much that it felt like going to heaven rather than just dreamland.

The car was still moving. Jeong-yoon removed the sleeping mask and stared out the window.

    “This isn’t Jeju, is it?”

    “It’s Yeosu.”

“Why did we come to Yeosu?”

    “To take a boat.”

Ah. Jeong-yoon nodded while blinking slowly. So that’s why they left at dawn. The reason Chae-heon had driven for hours with sleeping Jeong-yoon beside him was to catch a ferry to Jeju.

    “Why not take a plane?”

“Don’t want to rent a car.”

“Don’t tell me it’s because it feels unclean?”

    “Well, something like that.”

    “…You’re really something.”

    “I know.”

At Chae-heon’s matter-of-fact response, Jeong-yoon thought of his always-clean shoes and neat clothing. Even the dashboard before them was spotlessly clean. Well, it was a given since the guy even carried a handkerchief.

You’re making things hard for yourself with that obsessive cleanliness.

While thinking this, Jeong-yoon suddenly remembered Chae-heon licking his fingers in front of the library. He had said that he didn’t care even if he had rolled around in the mud. That such a neat guy was lenient only to him. It felt like it was showing his feelings for him, which made him feel strangely proud.

    ***

He slammed the car door shut and stretched.

This was Jeju Island. Just hours ago he’d been moving somewhere in his car, and when he came to his senses, he had arrived in Jeju across the sea.

After dropping off their luggage at the accommodation and eating, they set out again right away. To Seopjikoji, apparently. Jeong-yoon obediently followed Chae-heon. It felt like being back on a school trip, like being a student following his teacher’s directions.

Anyway, they arrived at Seopjikoji, about 20 minutes from their lodging.

He couldn’t understand why he felt so tired when Chae-heon was the one who’d driven all day. Jeong-yoon looked up at the sky while rotating his stiff neck. The winter Jeju sky was clear. Through the white breath he exhaled, he could see tour groups moving about.

Chae-heon wrapped a scarf tightly around Jeong-yoon’s neck with a slight smile.

“But Seo Jeong-yoon, will you be okay? You didn’t tell your mother…”

    “…Stop talking about that. I know I was wrong…”

    Chae-heon’s smile deepened.

Ever since Jeong-yoon had once refused to stay overnight using his mother as an excuse, Chae-heon would tease him about needing his mother’s permission whenever anything came up. At first, he thought Chae-heon was genuinely concerned, but after he repeated it several times, Jeong-yoon realized – he was teasing him with that serious face.

    “Let’s go.”

Chae-heon gestured towards the inner path. Jeong-yoon nodded and followed him like a duckling following its mother.

The path was quiet and the wind was strong. His cheeks froze in the harsh winter wind. But walking with Kang Chae-heon next to him, with the endless sea spread out beside them was wonderful.

As they walked on the cold stones, soon they were the only ones on the path. The winter chill seemed to have driven away all other tourists.

Walking like that, they soon reached a familiar place. It was the place where he had secretly photographed Chae-heon during their school trip. The background in Chae-heon’s photo that he secretly looked at whenever he missed him. Jeong-yoon decided to refrain from making the embarrassing confession, ‘I secretly took a picture of you here before.’

Standing on the path with just the two of them, they silently watched the sea. There was nothing but wind, stones, and Chae-heon. It felt as if time had stopped.

Why did that horizon with white clouds rising above seem so beautiful when it was just an ordinary Jeju sea? During their high school trip, it had been just an ordinary sea. But now it was different. That was probably because the relationship between them then and now was different.

Finally, Jeong-yoon had returned here with Chae-heon across the cold winter. That felt joyful and deeply meaningful. Jeong-yoon wanted to tell his past self that Kang Chae-heon would become your boyfriend. He likes you. He loves you.

The cold winter scent brushed their nose. If he was to remember this place after returning to Seoul, this winter scent would probably come to mind before the photo of Chae-heon. And also Kang Chae-heon’s warmth as he now wrapped his arm around his shoulder.

Jeong-yoon pushed back his disheveled hair and looked up at Chae-heon.

    “Kang Chae-heon.”

    “Yeah.”

“We came here on our school trip. I liked you since then.”

    “……”

“No. I probably liked you even before that?”

Jeong-yoon gazed up at him quietly.

Kang Chae-heon didn’t answer. He just watched Jeong-yoon steadily.

He gazed at Jeong-yoon’s bright red nose tip, flushed cheeks, and eyes that looked at him with unconditional kindness. Perhaps because of the cold wind, his reddened eyes were slightly wet.

Jeong-yoon smiled quietly through the hair that was scattered by the wind.

“Just… I think I liked you from the moment I first saw you. From that moment our eyes met.”

It was a sudden confession. Coming to this familiar yet strange place with him had stirred up Jeong-yoon’s emotions, making him speak without thinking.

After those words, Jeong-yoon ended up being fully embraced by Chae-heon. He had only been putting his arm around his shoulder like a friend, but Chae-heon suddenly turned his body and hugged him with his whole body, causing his waist to be wrapped so tightly that it hurt. A subtle scent of perfume rose from within the warm embrace. Jeong-yoon looked around his shoulders with a flustered expression.

    “Hey. If someone sees…”

    “They’ll think we’re good friends.”

Chae-heon whispered, rubbing his lips against Jeong-yoon’s ear. The low voice tickling his ear was sweet and sticky. Goosebumps rose on the back of his neck, causing his body to tremble once.

Jeong-yoon hesitated before relaxing his tense body. His body slowly backed into the wall due to Chae-heon’s actions, which seemed desperate despite him being the one embracing them. His tight embrace made it difficult to breathe.

This state would be hard to pass off as friendship whether seen from 1 meter or 100 meters away. Jeong-yoon pushed weakly at his chest, moving futilely. But soon he had to stand still again at his words.

    “Don’t move.”

    “……”

His voice was low and husky. Jeong-yoon swallowed. Heat rose from their pressed bodies.

    “Hey. Kang Chae-heon, you…”

    “That’s right. So stop squirming.”

    “……”

Chae-heon’s thing was pressing uncomfortably against him. It was standing so fiercely that he could feel it through the thick winter clothes. As Chae-heon squirmed in embarrassment, he placed his palm under Jeong-yoon’s waist and pulled him closer. Their lower bodies rubbed together even more intimately.

He didn’t know why Chae-heon was being so clingy. The thing he felt below only grew harder.

‘Is he always like this? He’s so healthy….’

As his cock was poking him, even the innocent Jeong-yoon became aroused. Jeong-yoon buried his nose in Chae-heon’s shoulder and took a couple of deep breaths to control his impulses. The winter air against the back of his head was biting cold, but Kang Chae-heon’s body temperature, as he held him tightly, was very hot. So much so that the inside of his open coat felt cozy.

Chae-heon sighed softly and brushed his lips against Jeong-yoon’s ear. Chae-heon’s flushed skin brushed against him.

     “How far have we walked?”

Chae-heon’s voice muffled in the cold air.

     “Fifteen… minutes…?”

     “Let’s go.”

With those words, Chae-heon grabbed Jeong-yoon’s wrist and turned to walk back. It seemed they were heading back to the car. It was hard to keep up with Chae-heon’s long strides. He hadn’t noticed before because he usually matched his pace to Jeong-yoon’s, but the difference in their leg length was now strikingly apparent.

They left their quiet space and arrived at the slightly busier entrance. Chae-heon walked towards the car without giving a single glance to the tourists passing by. Jeong-yoon followed along, as if being dragged.

The car was at the far end of the parking lot, in the middle of nowhere. Once inside, Chae-heon locked the door, grabbed Jeong-yoon by the nape of his neck, and began kissing him. Jeong-yoon let go of the seatbelt in his hand. The seat was too cold against his body, but the blazing heat of Chae-heon’s body against his was too much for him.

Their cold lips met, and still-cold tongues intertwined wetly. Jeong-yoon slowly closed his wide, startled eyes. Chae-heon’s hand, which had been stroking Jeong-yoon’s neck, moved into his hair and gently ruffled it. Then, he gripped it tightly, tilting Jeong-yoon’s face to push himself in even deeper.

It was a kiss that was both affectionate and forceful. He rubbed his tongue softly, traced his gums, and then invaded his mouth so deeply that it was suffocating.

Moist lips fully engulfed his lips, exploring the inside with a wetness. A wet moan, belonging to either of them, leaked from the gap between their lips. A chilling thrill ran down his spine, tinglingly.

Just when he thought the kiss was about to get rougher, there was a loud thud, and the seat reclined. It was only a moment before he was pinned down by Chae-heon’s full body. Jeong-yoon laid back on the seat, letting Chae-heon take him down. The cold air in the car heated up, and a blur of steam formed on the window.

Chae-heon’s hands opened Jeong-yoon’s tightly closed coat, lifted his top, and slipped inside. His hot hands began to grope Jeong-yoon’s cool body. He gently ran his palm down his waist and gently rubbed his stomach.

Jeong-yoon inhaled and exhaled involuntarily. His body burned with heat at the touch of his rough palm.

Chae-heon’s hand wandered up to his waist and rubbed his fingers over his small, pointed nipples. Aah, and Jeong-yoon’s waist jumped. The thumb stroked slowly, then pressed firmly and rubbed hard. Jeong-yoon’s body shuddered. A tingling sensation ran down his spine.

     “Mmmmm….”

A soft moan escaped his lips. It was at that moment that their lips parted. Chae-heon pulled up Jeong-yoon’s clothes and pressed his face to his chest. His breath hovered over his chest, hot with excitement. His wet tongue flicked and sucked at his nipple, clinging to it insistently. His hot breath echoed embarrassingly in the car.

     “Kang, Chae-heon… ahhh….”

Chae-heon set his teeth and nibbled on the nipple, his lips brushing against it. Jeong-yoon put his hands on Chae-heon’s shoulders and let out a shaky moan, heat rising in his belly as his tongue probed and licked the pointed tip.

Chae-heon grabbed Jeong-yoon’s wrist and placed it between his legs. His center, erect beyond limits, touched the palm of his hand. It was very hard and hot. Jeong-yoon began to move his hand at Chae-heon’s urging. As he involuntarily touched, stroked, and rubbed his cock, Chae-heon let out a deep breath.
