HARD 13
by soapaCha Gyuwon flinched, then his eyes widened as he looked at Go Woonha. Aware of his gaze, Go Woonha suppressed a smile, feigning ignorance. His foot slipped under Cha Gyuwon’s pant leg and gently stroked his ankle and shin.
“It was fun. Mr. Cha Gyuwon is a good athlete.”
“Yeah. He’s got good athletic sense. It’s just that he hasn’t been doing anything for long.”
“Really? He had good stamina.”
“Not stamina. Perseverance, you idiot.”
“Aha. I see.”
Cha Gyuhan corrected Go Woonha, thinking he had chosen the wrong vocabulary.
Go Woonha felt like he was about to burst out laughing, so he picked up his glass. Cha Gyuwon was staring intently at him as he held the fragrant alcohol in his mouth and savored it. He gently curved his eyes at him. Cha Gyuwon hastily averted his gaze, then snuck glances at him from behind those frustrating bangs.
Ah, I wish tomorrow would come quickly.
👟
Go Woonha’s designated driver arrived first. He left with a cheerful goodbye. He didn’t say anything special to Cha Gyuwon, like ‘see you tomorrow’. He treated them both as if they were just mutual acquaintances and disappeared like the wind.
Only after he had left did Cha Gyuwon realize that he had secretly hoped he would treat him specially in front of his brother. He felt embarrassed for having had such an expectation, and at the same time, a deep sense of disappointment remained, making him doubly upset.
As soon as Go Woonha was gone, Gyuwon became restless, wanting to go home quickly, but Cha Gyuhan held him back, saying he’d call one of his lackeys and that he shouldn’t call a driver. Instead, he dragged him to the smoking area and proceeded to stare at his younger brother’s face, which he hadn’t seen in a while.
Cha Gyuwon, who had become a fifth wheel since he wasn’t talkative and didn’t smoke, hesitated in front of Cha Gyuhan before opening his mouth. The whole reason he had let himself be dragged here instead of just taking off was because he wanted to ask this.
“Hyung, do you know Mr. Go Woonha well?”
“Just. Well.”
Cha Gyuhan mumbled, assuming his younger brother didn’t know that he and Go Woonha had slept together. Did he just know him? Cha Gyuwon’s virginity had been taken in that room, in that very bed.
“You said Mr. Go Woonha is famous. Where is he famous? For what?”
“Aish…. That’s just. Well.”
Cha Gyuhan was so terrible at creating things that he couldn’t lie at all. He tried to change the subject by chain-smoking, but even that was not easy. Cha Gyuwon was not a subordinate or an employee, so he wouldn’t back down just because of that.
“What are the people Mr. Go Woonha is close with like? What do they do for a living? How old are they?”
“Hey. Why are you so persistent? Don’t tell me you like Go Woonha?”
Cha Gyuhan was horrified, thinking ‘no way’ at his brother’s persistent questioning.
“No. It’s not that. It’s just, he took care of me too.”
Fortunately, Cha Gyuhan easily fell for that obvious excuse. The fact that he was slightly drunk also helped. Cha Gyuhan put a new cigarette in his mouth. Just then, two new employees, or rather, two lackeys, got out of a taxi in the distance. Cha Gyuhan raised a hand, telling them to wait a moment, and when they approached, he gave them a generous amount of spending money, including their taxi fare. While the two lackeys were smoking by themselves off to the side, Cha Gyuhan told his brother about Go Woonha, squeezing out as much as he knew.
“He’s the type who attracts a lot of people, but the problem is he doesn’t turn anyone away.”
“Even people who leave?”
“I don’t think anyone leaves.”
Cha Gyuhan scratched his head.
“He gets along well with everyone, so. And the kid’s handsome. His shell is amazing.”
Cha Gyuwon knew that well. He wasn’t just amazing; he was handsome and beautiful like an angel. When people think of angels, they only picture the kind faces of babies with their eyes gently closed and curly blonde hair, but in fact, angels… act as God’s representatives, going to war, meting out punishment, and guarding gardens, so they have good bodies and are not just pretty but also very handsome… ah, of course, this isn’t based on historical evidence either, but an image created by works of fiction, but anyway, Go Woonha fits that image….
While Cha Gyuwon was thinking of Go Woonha in his head, rattling off at a breathless speed a deep… a very deep piece of information that most people not only don’t know but also don’t care about, Cha Gyuhan was also thinking of Go Woonha. But unlike his younger brother, his thoughts were very simple and very straightforward.
Cha Gyuhan licked his lips with a dazed look in his eyes as he recalled Go Woonha’s body. That bastard made some scary requests sometimes, but his body was really amazing. His technique, too.
“Well, there are a lot of fancy-looking guys around him. A lot of flashy ones, too. But Go Woonha stands out the most, though I’m no slouch either.”
“Uh-huh. So you’re saying everyone around him stands out.”
Cha Gyuwon, naturally ignoring his brother’s subtle self-praise, continued to ask.
“Yeah. Well. At least the guys I’ve seen, the ones he knows, seem to be like that.”
“That hyung must have a lot of friends….”
“Friends? You have to be lucky to have friends.”
Cha Gyuhan burst out laughing loudly. Cha Gyuhan had willingly broken things off with Go Woonha because he thought he was one of those lucky ones. Not many guys remained friends with Go Woonha until the end.
“He’s a slut.”
After a long explanation, he gave a simple assessment.
“He’s easy. The kid.”
Cha Gyuwon’s mouth fell open.
He struggled to understand what he had heard from his brother. His mind creaked and turned slowly. What did he just say….
“Hyung, how can you say something like that?”
Cha Gyuwon asked seriously, his face stern. He was greatly disappointed in his brother. Even if their family was in a unique environment where such words were easy to come by, that was too harsh of an insult.
However, Cha Gyuhan did not correct himself.
“If you’re curious, you can ask him yourself. He won’t even care.”
After answering indifferently, Cha Gyuhan put out his cigarette and staggered toward his car.
“It’s not like he’s picky about his friends. Especially for a kid like you who has no friends, Go Woonha isn’t bad. No, he’s good. He has a good personality and he’s nice, so don’t be prejudiced just because he’s a little easy. Well, you just have to not sleep together, the two of you. Y-You just have to not have sex.”
Is this too explicit for my little brother? Cha Gyuhan stammered with a cough. As a result, the emphasis ended up on that word. Perhaps because he had chain-smoked after drinking, he got drunk more quickly. By tomorrow, he probably wouldn’t even remember what he had said. He staggered and got into the back seat of the car.
The lackey, who had rushed over expecting to receive a hefty allowance from Cha Gyuwon as well, greeted him cheerfully.
“Hello! I will escort you home!”
But he couldn’t hear that spirited greeting at all.
Cha Gyuwon staggered and got into the car.
‘He’s a slut… a slut… a slut….’
Cha Gyuhan’s words replayed in his mind over and over.
Cha Gyuwon suddenly slammed his fist into the seat. The lackey in the driver’s seat was startled and looked in the rearview mirror. But Cha Gyuwon’s face was not clearly visible as his head was covered by his arm.
‘He’s fucking terrifying.’
The lackey clicked his tongue as he looked at Cha Gyuwon’s all-black attire and large frame.
Cha Gyuwon, oblivious to the stare, gritted his teeth in anger, so much so that he forgot there was another person there.
It wasn’t because he was angry. It was because his brother had spoken carelessly about Go Woonha. From the looks of it, it seemed to have become natural for those around Go Woonha to treat and judge him in that way. How could they! Cha Gyuwon felt sorry for Go Woonha and was very upset on his behalf. The alien in his chest was definitely about to burst out. This time, his chest ached as if it were being crushed for a different reason.
Cha Gyuwon groaned, biting his lip hard. The lackey trembled in the driver’s seat at the low, beastly sounds that followed one after another.
👟
Saturday.
Unlike the first time he met Cha Gyuwon alone, today he was very proactive. Is it because he’s a little more relaxed now that this is our third, no, about our 3.5th meeting?
He could have just opened the door via the intercom from inside his house, but he insisted on waiting for the elevator to arrive, escorting him to the front door, and even taking his coat and bag. The devoted service made Go Woonha wonder if he had come to Cha Gyuwon’s house or a hotel where he had requested butler service.
Next came pre-prepared tea and even tea foods, making him feel as if he were a young lady preparing for a 19th-century debutante ball.
Cha Gyuwon kept glancing at him and fussing over him.
He was acting as if he were a very precious porcelain doll, but no matter how hard Go Woonha tried to recall what might have caused this change in Cha Gyuwon’s behavior, nothing came to mind.
‘Could it be that he’s into NTR?’
Did he get excited seeing me with his brother yesterday? Go Woonha speculated on the possibility that Cha Gyuwon had an unexpected kink.
Actually, it might not be that unexpected. Since he knew nothing about Cha Gyuwon.
“How is the tea?”
“It’s delicious. Is it black tea?”
“Black tea… there are many kinds….”
Cha Gyuwon explained what kind of tea it was. It was the name of an explorer. Go Woonha let the name Marco Polo go in one ear and out the other, drifting through the thoughts that were branching out wildly.
‘I’m not really a fan of group play where I’m just watching and not participating.’
“I baked the scones myself.”
“Oh, really?”
“Try them with this cream. Should I put the jam on first, or the cream first?”
“Is that an important issue?”
“It’s a matter of preference, and preferences are important.”
“Ah… really….”
Cha Gyuwon said firmly. It was a rare occurrence. Is the matter of whether jam or cream comes first that serious?
“Then cream first, please.”
But yes. Preferences are important. They are an important issue. Just like I’m putting up with you even though I’m not into younger guys, can’t you put up with it a little even if you’re into NTR? I can respect your preference, and I can get excited and get hard, but I can’t wrap my head around why you would just stand there and watch without participating, so NTR just doesn’t appeal to me. I feel like I’d be too distracted to focus, probably.
“Ah, the tea has cooled. I’ll get some more water.”
Go Woonha stopped Cha Gyuwon as he was about to get up. Then he smiled kindly at Gyuwon, who was turning to look at him.
“Mr. Gyuwon. Thank you so much, but why are you being so nice to me? I feel like I’ve become some kind of princess.”
“Ah, no… I should treat you preciously. Carefully.”
It didn’t have the feeling of ‘You’re mine, so I have to treat you preciously.’ It was more… yes, like the lyrics of that song, You Were Born to be Loved, which he had heard at a Korean church he had gone to exactly once and never again. It gave him a strange feeling.
Go Woonha grabbed Cha Gyuwon again as he tried to gently and carefully slip out of his grasp.
“Yes. It’s nice, it’s good, but. That’s enough tea for now.”
He loathed this kind of childish play. Go Woonha stood up and took off the black, relaxed-fit knit sweater that was very tightly and sturdily woven. As he took it off in one motion by crossing his arms, Go Woonha’s fine hair puffed up and then settled down. Cha Gyuwon stared blankly at the fluffy hair that looked almost curly, and Go Woonha approached him and said.
“If I drink any more, I think I’ll piss myself while we’re doing it. I’m fine with it, but I think you’d be surprised, Mr. Gyuwon.”
Startled, Cha Gyuwon was overwhelmed by Go Woonha’s presence and stumbled back, finally collapsing back into the chair. Go Woonha immediately climbed on top of him.
“I like being treated preciously, too.”
That’s a lie.
“You’re a baby, Mr. Cha Gyuwon. This time, I’ll do it according to your preference.”
