HCILH Extra 4
by camiChapter 142: Extras – Speed Limit 3
Ran Shu sat lazily in his nanny van, a U-shaped pillow around his neck, leaning against the seat for a nap. Yet, he couldn’t fall asleep.
Raising a hand, he opened the window slightly and glanced outside. The traffic jam was still in full swing, cars packed tightly together.
Taking out his phone, he recorded a short video of the congestion and sent it via WeChat to someone labeled as [An Ex Who Won’t Die Is a Future Trouble].
r.s: “See? Traffic jam. It’s not that I don’t want to come.”
It took about five minutes before a reply came.
An Ex Who Won’t Die Is a Future Trouble: “Send me your location.”
Looking at the message on the screen, Ran Shu couldn’t help but sneer. What’s the point of sending my location? Are you going to fly over here?
Still, he tapped on the screen and shared his live location.
Ten minutes later…
An Ex Who Won’t Die Is a Future Trouble: Get out of the car, walk 700 meters north, enter the World Trade Center, go upstairs, and wait for me on the rooftop.
Ran Shu rolled his eyes so hard they nearly reached the heavens.
But this person was his “Daddy Investor.” If he didn’t comply, funding would get pulled. He had no choice but to follow orders.
Turning to his assistant, he said: “Pack up. We’re getting off.”
“Huh? Oh, okay!” The assistant, caught off guard, quickly packed their things and helped Ran Shu dress.
After donning a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a mask, Ran Shu also threw on a jacket.
The assistant carried his usual belongings—one bag on his back and another in his hand—following him off the car. It looked more like they were going on a week-long trip than just stepping out for a day.
The two headed north, briskly walking toward the World Trade Center.
Bundled up as he was, Ran Shu moved quickly and avoided any issues along the way.
At the elevator in the World Trade Center, someone finally recognized him: “He looks like Ran Shu…”
Pretending not to hear, Ran Shu stared at the elevator numbers. He was dressed so thoroughly—how on earth did they recognize him? Did they glimpse his stunning soul?
When they entered the elevator together, the person cautiously asked: “Can we take a picture together?”
Ran Shu hesitated for a moment before pulling down his mask and sunglasses, smiling into the camera. After all, Ran Shu was famously terrible at everything but unbeatable at spoiling his fans.
After the photo, he checked the person’s phone and added: “Remember to retouch it.”
“Yes, yes!” The group was ecstatic, holding back screams as they exited the elevator.
Ran Shu adjusted his disguise and continued to the rooftop, unsurprised to see a helicopter waiting there. He had guessed from the earlier messages that his ex really had “flown” over.
When the helicopter noise died down, he stepped outside and approached it without hesitation, boarding the aircraft.
His assistant, however, was panicking. Having only been Ran Shu’s assistant for six months, he was stunned by the scene.
Onboard, the assistant nervously said: “Brother Ran, I don’t know how to fasten this seatbelt.”
Ran Shu leaned over and helped him buckle up.
The helicopter took off, heading toward the building where Sang Xian worked. The entire journey, including landing, took less than fifteen minutes.
Disembarking, Ran Shu made his way down to Sang Xian’s office floor with practiced ease.
He pushed the office door open to find Sang Xian surrounded by a group of people. They all turned to stare at him, shocked by his unannounced entrance. Upon recognizing him, they exchanged glances and finally looked at Sang Xian.
“Continue your report.” Sang Xian instructed immediately.
Ran Shu hadn’t expected others to be there. He glanced around but didn’t interrupt, instead heading to the sofa to sit down.
His assistant followed suit, taking out a script from the bag and handing it to Ran Shu.
Meanwhile, Sang Xian handled his work at the desk, dealing with a steady stream of people. When he wasn’t busy with in-person meetings, he was in video conferences.
Ran Shu could only wait on the sofa with his assistant. One hour turned into an entire day.
By evening, Ran Shu couldn’t bear it anymore. He got up and strolled over to Sang Xian’s desk, hovering nearby.
Sang Xian glanced up at him before motioning to his secretary. The secretary promptly approached Ran Shu, saying: “Mr. Ran, this way, please. I’ll arrange for you to dine in the company cafeteria.”
“With your employees?” Ran Shu asked.
“We’ll arrange a private room for you.”
“What about him?”
“Mr. Sang is still busy.”
Sang Xian’s secretary was a tall and beautiful woman, a Beijing University graduate standing at 175 cm tall. In heels, she reached 180 cm, almost eye-level with Ran Shu in flats.
Rumor had it that her annual salary rivaled that of some company CEOs.
Elegant and capable, she exuded an imposing aura when standing beside Sang Xian, as if they were two giants.
Ran Shu had a good impression of her—mainly because she was good-looking.
He had a soft spot for attractive people.
Resigned, Ran Shu went to the cafeteria with his assistant. After eating, he was still baffled by Sang Xian’s antics.
Later, the secretary came to escort him back to the office.
On the way, Ran Shu asked: “Is Mr. Sang done yet?”
“No, he’s still busy.”
“Then why did he ask me to come?”
This time it was Sang Xian who insisted on having him come. After receiving the news, he had no choice but to come, because Sang Xian was the father of the employer.
Ran Shu didn’t care; he was mentally prepared for this when he broke up with Sang Xian.
In the future, it is inevitable that he will face difficulties from this ex.
“That’s something he’ll need to explain to you himself.” the secretary replied with a smile, opening the office door for him.
Ran Shu entered, his assistant in tow, but the secretary stopped the assistant: “Please come with me. We need you to transfer some endorsement documents to Mr. Ran’s agent.”
“Oh, okay,” the assistant replied before turning to Ran Shu: “Brother Ran, I’ll be right back.”
“Mm.”
Back inside, Ran Shu saw Sang Xian in a meeting with a regional manager. The two were discussing a new project, and the manager seemed particularly irate, complaining about an unreliable partner.
Ran Shu could tell at a glance that he’d have to wait even longer.
He had assumed Sang Xian dismissed the assistant to get some alone time and possibly do something shameless. He had even started contemplating whether to resist or cooperate. But no—he was still waiting.
After waiting for half an hour, the assistant hadn’t returned, but Hou Mo’s mom arrived. After entering, she said: “Ran Shu, would you like some small cookies?”
Now, Hou Mo’s mom had become one of the major shareholders of the Sang family company, and everyone called her Vice President Hou.
She was truly impressive. In just a few years, she had managed to rise quickly within the company and could freely enter and leave Sang Xian’s office.
“Thanks, Auntie.” Ran Shu immediately took the cookies.
“I’m a bit busy over there. I heard you came, so I stopped by. I’ll head back now.”
“Okay, sure.”
Hou Mo’s mom quickly left.
Ran Shu continued looking at the script. By 11 P.M., Sang Xian and the regional manager were still in a meeting.
The assistant returned, sitting beside him, dozing off, swaying from side to side.
At this moment, Sang Xian finally found a moment and called his secretary, saying: “Arrange for a car to send Mr. Ran back.”
Ran Shu immediately perked up upon hearing this. He walked over and asked” “What’s going on? You’re sending me back without saying anything?”
“Well, the reason I asked you to come was to let you see just how busy I am every day.”
Ran Shu felt a rush of anger rising to his head. He was so furious he nearly exploded: “You sent a helicopter to pick me up just so I could see how busy you are?”
“Hm.”
“Are you out of your mind?”
“I’m an investor.”
“…”
Ran Shu resignedly nodded, turned around, and walked out while shouting: “My own car is downstairs waiting for me, I don’t need you to send me. Get lost!”
He quickly walked downstairs with his assistant and left.

Before attending the press conference for his new drama, Ran Shu was still upset. He took out his phone and wrote a little rant, intending to curse out Sang Xian, but then deleted it.
He and Sang Xian had broken up, and this time, it had been a while—seven months already.
Honestly, Ran Shu couldn’t even remember how long they had been together. It was probably like a long subtraction, subtracting the time since they broke up from the time they started dating. The shortest breakup lasted fifteen minutes, and the longest one lasted seven months.
He couldn’t really remember the reason for the breakup either, but it was roughly because Sang Xian didn’t spend enough time with him, so he suggested breaking up.
After the breakup, he went to the mountains to shoot a costume drama. The scenery was nice, though the signal was poor. After several months of shooting, he came out and realized there were no messages from Sang Xian on WeChat.
Time passed, and they never reconciled.
He tried to create accidental encounters with Sang Xian or have Hou Mo pass messages along, but Sang Xian didn’t seem to care much.
That’s when he suddenly realized this time might actually be the end.
Now, with Sang Xian suddenly reappearing, Ran Shu was annoyed and confused about what Sang Xian was thinking.
“Brother Ran, it’s time to go on stage.” the assistant peeked and said after observing for a while.
“Okay, got it.”
Before leaving, Ran Shu deliberately checked his reflection in the mirror and then went on stage.
This was the press conference for his new drama, held at a university. The audience was mostly college students, and the atmosphere was lively.
Someone suggested that he make a phone call with Sui Houyu and ask about the new drama.
This was a common segment after Ran Shu became famous.
The group of people had all done well after graduation.
Deng Yiheng and Shen Junqing’s doubles team had finally seen some success, and he had also partnered with Lu Yanxin for mixed doubles, appearing in world-class competitions.
Hou Mo had successfully broken out of Asia and into the world, becoming a source of pride for the nation. He earned piles of prize money every year. Last year, it was reported that Hou Mo’s personal annual income reached 200 million, and that was just a stepping stone. He still had unlimited potential.
Sui Houyu, still focusing on doubles, traveled the world with Hou Mo to participate in competitions or watch Hou Mo’s matches.
Since he had more free time than Hou Mo, he sometimes participated in variety shows, took on commercial endorsements, and even ran his own chain of stores, which earned him a good income.
They were old classmates, and their fame wasn’t a secret anymore.
Sui Houyu had even appeared as a guest on the variety show where Ran Shu was a regular. In that episode, Ran Shu relentlessly flirted with Sui Houyu, and Sui Houyu’s “boyfriend energy” made fans swoon. This sparked rumors about the “Verdant Tree in the Wind CP[1],” causing Hou Mo to angrily call Ran Shu in the middle of the night, telling him to stay away from Sui Houyu.
As celebrities, interactions like this were inevitable. The press conference reached out to Sui Houyu to boost the show’s popularity, and maybe it would even make headlines, generating more traffic.
Ran Shu dialed Sui Houyu’s voice message. However, it was Hou Mo’s voice that answered: “Hello, Brother Yu is sleeping. What’s up?”
Ran Shu immediately knew he’d be making the headlines.
He pretended to be unconcerned: “Oh, no big deal. I just wanted to ask if you’ve watched my new drama.”
On the other end, Hou Mo lazily replied, “Oh, I couldn’t sit through the stuff you’re acting in. Only Brother Yu likes it. Last time, he even cried watching it.”
“Not good, huh?”
“How would I know? I didn’t finish watching it.”
“Actually, I think you make a good point,” Ran Shu laughed. “I’m doing a live broadcast right now.”
Hou Mo didn’t believe it: “How long are you going to keep using that live broadcast joke on me?”
Ran Shu signaled to the audience to cheer, and the cheers were deafening.
Hou Mo on the other end sounded completely defeated: “Ran Shu! You! You!”
Ran Shu had been angry just moments ago but now felt better.
When Hou Mo was in trouble, Ran Shu celebrated for the tenth anniversary.
After Hou Mo regained composure, he asked: “Could you repeat the question you asked?”
“Did you watch my new drama?”
“Yeah, watched it. It’s great! Tear-jerking, heartwarming, amazing acting, flawless, breathtaking, a masterpiece, definitely going to win awards.”
“How did Brother Yu rate it?”
“Brother Yu really likes it. He thinks the actress rejecting you is a bit ungrateful.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the actress standing beside him burst into laughter. The way she laughed was like a stampede of horses.
Ran Shu played the second male lead in this drama, deeply in love with the female lead but unable to have her, relegated to the role of a protector.
Why? Because Sang Xian was the one funding the drama.
Ran Shu wasn’t allowed to have kissing scenes or intimate scenes in his roles, so he usually ended up with second male leads.
As the segment concluded, Ran Shu asked Hou Mo: “Anything you want to say to the audience?”
“What I want to say is that the ‘Verdant Tree in the Wind CP’ is fake. Slacking off is real. Shipping the right CP is beneficial for everyone.”
“Okay, goodbye.” Ran Shu immediately hung up the phone.
He then explained to the fans: “So, right now, Brother Yu and Hou Mo are at the Grand Slam competition. They’re staying in standard rooms, so they’re sharing a room. Do you understand what I mean?”
The fans answered in unison: “Understood! The ‘Verdant Tree in the Wind’ is real!”
Ran Shu immediately burst out laughing.
You guys are still sharp.
*
After Sui Houyu and Hou Mo got off the plane and arrived home, they saw someone waiting for them at the door.
Sui Houyu looked at Sang Xian with an expressionless face.
Hou Mo grinned directly and asked: “Come to congratulate me on winning the Grand Slam?”
“You won the Grand Slam? Did all the top players retire?” Sang Xian was surprised, seemingly unaware.
Hou Mo asked again: “Came to mooch a meal?”
“Sure.”
“Sure?”
“Yeah.”
Hou Mo could only open the door, pushing in their two suitcases, watching as Sang Xian followed them inside.
Sui Houyu sat on the sofa, resting. The long flight followed by a car ride was giving him a headache.
Hou Mo, after walking around the house a few times, took out three bottles of mineral water. He walked up to Sang Xian, then stopped and said: “You’re not playing tennis anymore, so can you drink something else?”
Sang Xian nodded: “Mm.”
“Oh…” Hou Mo placed the water in front of Sang Xian. “But I don’t have anything else at home.”
“Then why ask?”
“Just being polite.”
Sui Houyu drank the water and finally felt a little better, then said: “Alright, now tell me, what’s going on?”
Sang Xian glanced at Sui Houyu, then said: “I broke up with Ran Shu for eight months and nine days.”
“And then?”
“A month ago, I made him angry. He seems like he doesn’t want to get back together. The last time we kissed, he even bit me. He would never have rejected me before.”
Sui Houyu seemed puzzled: “Isn’t it normal for an ex to bite you when they suddenly kiss?”
He looked at Hou Mo.
Hou Mo was confused: “Why are you looking at me? I’ve never had an ex.”
Hou Mo and Sui Houyu had never broken up. After all, with Hou Mo’s personality, he would never agree to a breakup, and Sui Houyu wasn’t someone who would initiate one either.
They were men—any problems were solved in bed.
Sui Houyu couldn’t understand either, since he hadn’t been through such a thing, so he could only ask: “Then tell me, what exactly happened?”
“A few days ago, at a charity gala, I attended the dinner and then found an opportunity to call him to my room. I thought he would understand how hard I’ve been working and wanted to get close to him. But he rejected me, and then he scolded me for a long time.”
“Wait, how did you let him know you’ve been working hard?” Sui Houyu quickly caught onto the main point.
Sang Xian told them everything he had done.
After hearing it, Sui Houyu rubbed his face, while Hou Mo laughed for a long time.
It was really something Sang Xian could do.
Sui Houyu took out his phone and sent a voice message to Ran Shu: “I’m back in the country.”
Ran Shu replied quickly, clearly still on his phone: “Oh, I’ll come find you to hang out in a couple of days.”
“What are you busy with?”
Ran Shu replied again with a voice message: “Fighting with haters. If I don’t teach them how to behave, I won’t be called Ran Shu!”
Sui Houyu got to the point, sending another voice message: “What’s going on between you and Sang Xian?”
Ran Shu: “We broke up. What else? This time, it’s for real.”
The speaker was on, and Sang Xian’s face turned pale when he heard it.
Sui Houyu asked again: “What was the reason for the breakup?”
Ran Shu: “What else could it be? Either he’s too boring and ignores me, or I feel like he doesn’t like me like he used to. You know me, I like to be adored by the person I like. But he doesn’t. He likes to bully me. It’s a miracle we lasted this long.”
Sang Xian—old pervert, with peculiar tastes, really likes seeing Ran Shu angry or crying. That’s one of the reasons they broke up so many times.
Sui Houyu: “So what do you think now?”
Ran Shu: “Now… I don’t know…”
After a while, Ran Shu sent another voice message: “I just thought about it, and I suddenly realized I still haven’t gotten the point. Even after the breakup, I was still considering Sang Xian’s feelings when picking roles. I shouldn’t have! I should’ve gone for the leading role, preferably with kissing scenes and bed scenes. Just thinking about it gets me excited.”
Hou Mo, holding the bottle of water, was about to leave: “This is a girl talk, I shouldn’t be listening. I’ll leave first.”
He walked a couple of steps, realized Sang Xian hadn’t left, and sat back down: “What? You plan to stay in a room alone with my Brother Yu?”
Sang Xian didn’t respond to Hou Mo, and instead turned to Sui Houyu: “Ask him if he plans to get back together with me. Does he still like me?”
After hearing this, Hou Mo clicked his tongue a few times. The abandoned rich boss had turned into a little complainant. It was quite amusing to think about.
Sui Houyu really asked.
Ran Shu: “I know, I’m quite troublesome. We broke up so many times, but this time, it’s for real. I deserve it. Now that I think about it, I was wrong…”
Hearing this, Sang Xian’s expression softened a bit. But then Sui Houyu heard the rest of the voice messages…
Ran Shu: “But, Sang Xian and I are done, there’s no point in trying to patch things up. Next time I’m in a relationship, I won’t be so difficult. Anyway, my next partner won’t know how difficult I was before.”
Ran Shu: “Get back together? No way! With Sang Xian acting like that, why should I serve him? I just realized something’s wrong. A few days ago, someone even asked me for my WeChat. I rejected him! Why did I reject him? I’m single! What’s wrong with me? That guy was pretty handsome too! I don’t know if there’s any chance to fix it.”
Ran Shu: “Ugh, I’ve been with Sang Xian for so many years. He really spoiled my taste. I don’t know if I can settle for an average guy. I’m even afraid those young ones will think I’m too loose.”
Sang Xian’s eyes instantly widened.
Hou Mo couldn’t help but laugh at how Sang Xian’s eyes were wide open, it was almost cute, full of youthful energy.
Who would have thought, Sui Houyu made it worse: “Why are you looking for a guy? Weren’t you straight before?”
Ran Shu: “Damn, I totally forgot I was straight! I can find a girlfriend! I’ve got a group of beautiful actresses on my WeChat! They’re all so pretty! I haven’t properly used it yet, but now I can.”
Sang Xian immediately stood up and said to Sui Houyu: “Ask him where he is.”
Currently, because of work, Ran Shu was flying around the world, constantly in different places. Sang Xian, being an ex, couldn’t figure out where Ran Shu was.
Sui Houyu asked.
Ran Shu: “I’m at my house in Hengdian. Why, you wanna come see me?”
Hearing this, Sang Xian immediately walked out.
After Sang Xian left, Hou Mo burst out laughing: “I’m dying, Sang Xian’s eyes were so round, he looked kind of cute, full of youthful energy.”
“Don’t you think they’re better off apart? They’ve been torturing each other like this, it’s a form of mutual punishment.” Sui Houyu asked seriously.
Hou Mo finally stopped laughing and said: “First, let me make it clear, I’m not protecting Sang Xian. Let’s be honest, I think they could get back together.”
“Why?”
“As the saying goes, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… uh, I mean, old habits die hard. Even if Ran Shu starts a new relationship, he’s still going to cause trouble. He needs to adjust with someone. Sang Xian and he have already adjusted for so many years. After this, maybe they’ll get it right. There’s no need to break up. Also, not many people can watch Ran Shu struggle and still find him attractive. Sang Xian’s one of the few.”
Sui Houyu still felt they weren’t a good match: “But… Ran Shu doesn’t seem happy with him.”
“Ultimately, both of them have issues. Every time Ran Shu breaks up, it’s because he wants Sang Xian’s attention. Sang Xian’s really too dull. Only when they break up does he focus on Ran Shu. Eventually, it became a habit. Ran Shu can be difficult, and Sang Xian isn’t a perfect boyfriend. They really need to work things out. Once they do, everything will settle down.”
“But…”
“Ran Shu is all over the place, but he’s completely honest in front of you.” After saying that, Hou Mo realized something was off. He walked over to Sui Houyu, sat down next to him, and pulled him into his arms. “But don’t think you can do anything fancy. You’re mine.”
Sui Houyu didn’t care. He reached up, wrapped his arms around Hou Mo’s neck, and kissed him actively.
Hou Mo lifted him up and walked toward the bedroom while asking: “Aren’t you tired?”
“During the competition, we can’t do anything. I’ve been wanting it…”
The bedroom door closed, cutting off the sounds from inside.
*
Ran Shu returned to his nanny car. As soon as he got in, he noticed someone sitting inside.
He turned around and saw his assistant hadn’t gotten into the car.
He sat down opposite Sang Xian, took a sip of his goji water, and asked: “What are you here for?”
When he was younger, he loved milk tea, cola, and ice cream. Now, because of his busy work, he could easily break out in acne if he wasn’t careful, so he had changed his lifestyle.
As for his previous love for spicy food, he quit after being a bottom.
“I miss you…” Sang Xian said softly.
“Hah, do I need you to miss me?” Ran Shu sneered, “What, are you asking for a beating?”
“I’ve prepared a new script for you. This time, you’re the lead.”
Ran Shu’s eyes lit up instantly. He picked up the script, looked at the character profile, and his expression gradually twisted into one of disgust: “I’m playing a monk?! Does that mean I have to shave my head?”
“You’ve been bald before.”
Ran Shu continued reading the character profile, muttering: “I’d play Fahai, at least there’d be a little Qing who would care about me. This Tang Dynasty monk could be Tripitaka, at least I could go to the Kingdom of Women. I’d even take being Wu Zetian’s lover, but he’s just a simple monk?”
“But he has a disciple who treats him very well.”
Ran Shu flipped through the script and shouted out: “The disciple later renounced the monastic life, and I’m still a monk?!”
Sang Xian finally nodded in agreement: “Mm.”
Ran Shu threw the script onto the table, rubbing his head in frustration: “Don’t piss me off. I’m getting old, I can’t handle this.”
“Are you only 28?”
“Yes, I’m 28! I’ve never played a lead role before, and now the only lead I get is a monk? I can’t be a young idol anymore. I’m not young!”
“Well, how about this one?” Sang Xian pulled out another script.
Ran Shu asked: “Is this one for a Taoist priest?”
“No.”
Ran Shu took the script, almost jumping up: “I’m 178 cm tall, this thin, and you want me to play Guan Yunchang?!”
“As long as I have money, I can get any role.”
“A hero saving the beauty, and it’s saving his sister-in-law?”
“This one has hair!”
“I’m going to fight you!”
Ran Shu rolled up his sleeves and lunged at Sang Xian.
This move was essentially like throwing a meat bun at a dog. It only ended up in Sang Xian’s arms.
From being subdued by Sang Xian to being kissed, it seemed to take less than three minutes. He struggled but was held tighter.
He could only sit on Sang Xian’s lap, kissed senseless.
Sang Xian’s shoulders were broad, and his embrace felt like a safe harbor.
Ran Shu had wanted to bite Sang Xian, but he remembered how he made Sang Xian cry last time, so he couldn’t bring himself to do it.
They kissed for a long time before parting. Sang Xian rubbed his nose against Ran Shu’s and whispered: “I really missed you.”
Sang Xian’s voice was low and seductive, making Ran Shu feel a rush of desire.
“Okay…”
“You know how busy I am. I’ll try to make time to be with you. If I do that, will you be moved and not bring up breaking up again?”
“You make it sound like we’ve already gotten back together.”
Sang Xian pressed him into his arms, burying his face in his neck and acting coquettishly: “I like you. I can’t live without you… really. The more you act out, the more I like you. I’m not like normal people.”
“Why do you have to keep messing with a monk and a mini version of Guan Yunchang?”
Sang Xian laughed at the question and pulled out yet another script for Ran Shu: “Here, your age should be challenging a serious drama.”
Ran Shu, seeing the script, smoothly sat on Sang Xian’s lap and began reading it.
This script was pretty good. Ran Shu’s character was the lead role, and there was a female lead.
He was so absorbed in reading that he didn’t even notice Sang Xian was holding him and being a bit naughty.
It was an ancient palace drama telling the story of a dynasty’s rise and fall. He played the young emperor with many concubines. From a quick glance, there weren’t many romantic scenes, more about the plot.
Even if there were kissing scenes, they could be staged.
After reading it, he was thrilled and leaned over to kiss Sang Xian’s face: “I really like this script.”
“Then if you make me happy, I’ll help you get the role.”
“Husband! Whether you’re with me or not, I won’t act out again.”
The air conditioning in the nanny car blew gently.
Ran Shu had been filming earlier, and changing out of his costume was a hassle. He kept reminding Sang Xian not to ruin his makeup.
Unfortunately, his makeup got ruined anyway.
After not being together for a while, Ran Shu felt pain and cried, ruining his makeup.
Ran Shu rested in Sang Xian’s arms, and Sang Xian took out his phone to send a message to his assistant.
The assistant quickly took care of it, saying that the financiers invited the male lead to dinner, so today’s afternoon and evening scenes were postponed.
After requesting time off, Ran Shu’s nanny car drove directly to his house and didn’t leave again.
*
It was later heard that in the following days, Ran Shu’s voice was a little hoarse from filming and had to rely on post-production dubbing.
He caught a cold during filming but still had to keep going. It was really tough.
