by SpringlilaThe lips that touched Joo Seung-ha felt like the humid heat of midsummer. But unlike standing under the sweaty sunlight, Joo Seung-ha’s body meeting this heat trembled as if exposed to the winter wind, a slight shiver spreading throughout his chest. The kiss was soft and slow.
“Seung-ha-ya.”
He whispered against closed lips. A weak tremor instantly spread through Joo Seung-ha’s body. His breathing stopped. Everything turned white as if a light had suddenly switched on in his head. For a brief moment, only the sensation on his lips remained.
Through Joo Seung-ha’s unconsciously parted lips entered Seo Ahn-jae’s hot breath. Following it, Seo Ahn-jae’s opened lips pressed against Joo Seung-ha’s, pushing more heat inside. Joo Seung-ha’s trembling turned into a weak tingling sensation that spread throughout his body. Though instinct dominated his emptied mind, such a thing didn’t last for long.
The unfamiliarity underlying the trembling prevented him from falling back into his instincts. Though the kiss was incredibly soft and sweet, every breath wandering over Joo Seung-ha’s lips felt strange. The wave of shivers that had brushed his chest with the kiss now froze, having recognized its unfamiliarity.
As if sensing a change in Joo Seung-ha, the lips that had been pressing and moving gently slowed and then completely stopped. Seo Ahn-jae raising his head felt time stretching before them. And in the meeting gazes, Joo Seung-ha knew that the other man too had felt this strangeness.
They had never kissed before. Seven years ago, it wasn’t part of the contract. Though Joo Seung-ha had wanted it desperately, that act he could never verbally request appeared suddenly like a dove from a magician’s hat and vanished into thin air.
Though the current distance between them wasn’t even tens of centimeters, seven years of time ruthlessly intervened. Joo Seung-ha took one step back. Seo Ahn-jae’s hand instinctively tightened its grip on him. Joo Seung-ha didn’t want to mention that this was their first kiss.
“…I don’t do this.”
Just mentioning the word ‘kiss’ felt like it would bring all past acts to the surface. Though not as flustered as Joo Seung-ha, Seo Ahn-jae’s eyes, mixed with past emotions, hardened like steel.
“What do you mean by ‘this’?”
“This…stuff that lovers do.”
Though Joo Seung-ha spoke lowly, his voice was as soft as a whisper. Still, he didn’t avoid Seo Ahn-jae’s eyes. Instead, it was Seo Ahn-jae who looked away. But his lowered eyes went to seek out Joo Seung-ha’s lips. His black pupils pushed away the past and filled again with present day desire.
“I do this stuff well even without being lovers.”
“I don’t.”
“Try it this time.”
Joo Seung-ha felt ominous about his gaze fixed only on his lips. Seo Ahn-jae’s eyes gleamed with desire as if drugged.
“No. Why should I…?”
“Let me do it.”
Earlier it had been a plea, but this time it was an order. Seo Ahn-jae stepped closer to Joo Seung-ha and briefly raised his eyes. Had he felt the lips were hot when they touched earlier? No. The eyes meeting his covered Joo Seung-ha hotly like flames. Startled by the flames, he couldn’t move even as Seo Ahn-jae came up to him. And suddenly his breath was close enough to touch skin. He asked. It was a whisper so soft you had to lean in in order to hear it.
“You liked the kiss, didn’t you?”
Joo Seung-ha hesitated for a moment, unable to come up with a suitable lie. That was his mistake. His action was faster than any denial. He roughly pulled Joo Seung-ha’s body while strongly gripping his hair with the other hand. Then pressed his lips against him.
“Mmph!”
Though Joo Seung-ha tried to push him away in surprise, proper words couldn’t escape his blocked lips. The parted lips moved roughly as if wanting to devour Joo Seung-ha whole. Those once-gentle lips now stirred across Joo Seung-ha’s like a weapon, releasing deep breaths against his mouth.
“Haa.”
The whisper covered Joo Seung-ha along with hot breath. Joo Seung-ha had no intention of following Seo Ahn-jae’s command. Naturally, he struggled to push him away with his whole body, but Seo Ahn-jae fiercely pushed Joo Seung-ha’s body toward the car. Bang! Joo Seung-ha’s body hit the cold metal frame.
Ugh!
Joo Seung-ha burst out in internal groaning, but this too couldn’t properly escape his lips. Seo Ahn-jae pressed against Joo Seung-ha’s body with his own. Joo Seung-ha still kept his jaw clenched and lips closed. In the chaotic situation of being physically overpowered, it was the only resistance he could manage. However, the hand gripping his hair yanked his head back sharply.
“Open up.”
The excited breath commanded. Due to the rough handling, a moan escaped Joo Seung-ha for a moment and Seo Ahn-jae dove into the parted lips. His lips covered Joo Seung-ha as if wanting to devour him. Under the force of sucking and pushing, Joo Seung-ha’s body was pressed between Seo Ahn-jae and the car. The car shook with a rattle at Seo Ahn-jae’s forceful, insistent pushing.
Simultaneously, Seo Ahn-jae pushed his thigh between Joo Seung-ha’s legs. Though his hardened member pressed against Joo Seung-ha’s waist, Joo Seung-ha had no room to notice it as Seo Ahn-jae was pressing against him breathlessly with his whole body. Trying to escape, to push him away, he finally chose the last option.
“Ah, fuck!”
Seo Ahn-jae briefly cursed as he jerked his head up. During that moment when he raised his head and let his guard down, Joo Seung-ha pushed him with all his might and slipped out from between Seo Ahn-jae and the car. Haa, haa…Joo Seung-ha breathed with his chest heaving as if he’d just come back from a full speed sprint. Red blood beaded on Seo Ahn-jae’s lips as he glared daggers at him. Seo Ahn-jae licked his bitten, bleeding lip while furrowing his brow.
Joo Seung-ha too could taste the blood that Seo Ahn-jae must be tasting. He could taste Seo Ahn-jae’s blood. As if trying to erase it, Joo Seung-ha roughly wiped his lips with the back of his hand while belatedly glancing around at his surroundings. This was an outdoor parking lot. Fortunately, it was late at night with no people around, but you never knew. Joo Seung-ha stepped back further.
“Damn it, what are you doing?”
Joo Seung-ha cursed while wiping his lips again. Seo Ahn-jae stared at his lips as if getting even more aroused by Joo Seung-ha’s actions.
“It’s a kiss.”
Joo Seung-ha wanted to step back further, but he didn’t want to appear weak in front of the other man anymore. Fortunately, he was still feeling angry after what just happened.
“No, this is called sexual assault. Damn it, try this one more time and I’ll kill you, senior.”
Though Joo Seung-ha’s voice was low, his fists were tightly clenched. Compared to when he’d talked about running away before, it was a completely ineffective threat. Perhaps that was why Seo Ahn-jae smirked as if finding the words he had just spoken amusing.
“Sexual assault was what you used to like, wasn’t it?”
“Damn it, stop talking nonsense…”
“Listen to the nonsense. It’s your share to take from now on.”
Seo Ahn-jae took a step toward Joo Seung-ha, who was too dumbfounded to speak. As wariness spread in Joo Seung-ha’s eyes, making them sharp, Seo Ahn-jae coldly spat out, “You’re good at calculations, right? Then let’s properly finish what’s still left between us, you bastard.”
“Ha, there’s nothing left between us.”
Joo Seung-ha truly thought Seo Ahn-jae was talking nonsense. So even when he stared at him with beast-like eyes from close up, Joo Seung-ha gritted his teeth tightly, getting ready to throw a punch. Everything had ended seven years ago, so what was he…?
“Nothing left? There’s still 8 million won remaining.”
Joo Seung-ha hesitated for a moment. Before something could surface in his mind, Seo Ahn-jae whispered with a smile on his face.
“You just threw the money and left at the end. No matter how much time has passed, calculations should be exact, right?”
The day it all ended. Joo Seung-ha remembered that day. He had withdrawn all the money from his account at the ATM that day, but he couldn’t remember how much it was now. Was it 8 million won? Even in his daze, an absurd question arose. After his recollection, he took a breath and looked straight at Seo Ahn-jae.
“Think of it as a bonus. If you don’t like it, give it back.”
“Now who’s talking nonsense?”
“Then what do you want?! Bringing up something from seven years ago…”
“Take the payment.”
Seo Ahn-jae cut off Joo Seung-ha’s words and grabbed his arm tightly. Though Joo Seung-ha reflexively raised his arm to remove his hand, Seo Ahn-jae instead strengthened his grip and stood threateningly close to Joo Seung-ha. His face was inches away from his like when kissing, but their lips didn’t touch.
“I’m also exact with calculations. I’ll have to take you eight times for the money I received.”
Joo Seung-ha felt his eyes were especially beast-like at that moment. The memory of the last day seven years ago remained in his mind like torn photographs, causing confusion. Looking at Seo Ahn-jae’s eyes, despair at truly being devoured mixed in with the confusion. But his words told a different story.
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
At Joo Seung-ha’s whispered but firm reply, Seo Ahn-jae’s mouth twisted. Joo Seung-ha felt like a trapped animal and pushed him away hard. However, the broad chest and shoulders like a solid wall didn’t retreat and instead caught his wrist.
“Damn it, let go!”
Joo Seung-ha cursed, forgetting his earlier sensitivity of potential onlookers. Even though Seo Ahn-jae was overwhelmingly stronger, Joo Seung-ha was still a man. Using all his strength to shake him off, he managed to step back one pace. Though his wrist was still caught, Joo Seung-ha had some breathing room in the space created between them. So even though he couldn’t escape, he could vent his anger at Seo Ahn-jae.
“Why are you suddenly going crazy about wanting to take me now! When I begged seven years ago, you wouldn’t even look at me! Why do you only do things I don’t want?!”
“Why are you different from me?”
Seo Ahn-jae spoke through gritted teeth while pulling Joo Seung-ha’s arm. Joo Seung-ha resisted being pulled but stopped at Seo Ahn-jae’s next words.
“You started it first, right? Then damn it, you should have waited. Since you started it, you should have waited until we were equal!”
Joo Seung-ha’s chest rose and fell heavily like rough breathing. He asked while looking at Seo Ahn-jae, having stopped resisting.
“…Was it wrong that I started first?”
“Yes.”
Seo Ahn-jae coldly answered while his eyes swept over Joo Seung-ha’s body. Though both men were breathing roughly, their physical reactions were clearly different. Unlike Joo Seung-ha who showed no particular response, Seo Ahn-jae’s member was visibly hard through his pants. Noting this difference, Seo Ahn-jae met Joo Seung-ha’s eyes and commanded.
“It’s your fault. So listen.”
While Joo Seung-ha’s bewildered, shaking eyes and rough breathing calmed, Seo Ahn-jae stared at him quietly. Joo Seung-ha forced some words out..
“No. I ended it seven years ago. Now…”
Shaking his head, Joo Seung-ha suddenly closed his eyes and staggered to his feet. Dizziness swept over him as the world became blurry and spun quickly. Though Joo Seung-ha was partly aware of his body swaying, he couldn’t right himself.
So he didn’t immediately recognize the firm arms supporting his body. Fortunately, the dizziness didn’t last long. Just a few seconds. But his whole body went limp as if he’d just been on a roller coaster. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw Seo Ahn-jae furrowing his brow.
“I suddenly got dizzy…Huh? Why…?”
Joo Seung-ha was embarrassed for a moment there. While mumbling excuses, worried it might look like he was trying to escape during their fight, Seo Ahn-jae suddenly pulled him sharply. Caught by surprise, Joo Seung-ha couldn’t resist being dragged. The destination wasn’t far. Seo Ahn-jae opened the car door and pushed Joo Seung-ha’s back to make him get in.
Though it was a rough touch without gentleness, this time Joo Seung-ha got in without much resistance. Only after sitting in the seat and hearing the door close with a thud did he think he shouldn’t have gotten in, but his embarrassment was still too strong. Why did he have to get dizzy right then, damn. Joo Seung-ha squeezed his eyes shut and swallowed a sigh.
“Dizzy again?”
At the somewhat angry voice, Joo Seung-ha uncomfortably watched Seo Ahn-jae getting into the driver’s seat.
“No. I’ll just go by myself…”
“Shut up and put on your seatbelt.”
It was truly an angry voice. Though Joo Seung-ha was dumbfounded, he had no other option but to fasten his seatbelt. As soon as Joo Seung-ha buckled up, Seo Ahn-jae started the car abruptly. Joo Seung-ha had to grab the overhead handle due to the speed, forcing him to speak up.
“Sunbae, slow down.”
However, Seo Ahn-jae still said nothing as he entered the road and quickly changed lanes to move forward. What’s wrong with him? He can’t still be angry from their fight earlier, right?
Joo Seung-ha was staring at Seo Ahn-jae’s profile as he refused to look at him. When his gaze unconsciously lowered and caught his right thigh, the shape of his hardened member was clearly visible. He didn’t know how he noticed it in the darkness of the car.
“If you don’t want to get taken, look away because staring makes me more turned on.”
Seo Ahn-jae muttered lowly while checking the side mirror to enter the left turn lane. Worried about being misunderstood as having different intentions for looking, Joo Seung-ha quickly turned his head away.
“I wasn’t looking,” he muttered as if it were a complaint.
“I’m not a pervert.”
As if hearing even Joo Seung-ha’s inner thoughts of “How could looking at you turn you on?” Seo Ahn-jae twisted his mouth.
“Then what are you? The person who got along so well with such a pervert?”
Joo Seung-ha was about to retort with a curse when dizziness made him close his eyes again. Once more, the sensation of spinning like a top lasted for several seconds. When he opened his eyes again, he realized he had bowed his head and held his breath. As he tried to act normal and turn his head toward the window, a question came out.
“Since when has this been happening?”
There was still no gentleness. Rather, it was a demanding question, but ridiculously, it felt to Joo Seung-ha like the other man was concerned. Seo Ahn-jae worrying about me. How absurd. Hoping it wasn’t true, Joo Seung-ha shook his head.
“Today’s the first time. It’s nothing…Huh? Where are we going?”
Joo Seung-ha only then realized the car was going in the opposite direction from home. Seo Ahn-jae gave no reply, but after 5 minutes the destination became clear automatically. A large hospital building appeared before them. Joo Seung-ha swallowed a sigh and quickly tried to stop him.
“I don’t need to go to the hospital. Really, I’m telling you I’m not sick.”
Seo Ahn-jae replied while driving into the hospital parking lot.
“If you don’t like it, you can get hit by me and go in bleeding for real.”
“I’m not sick. Just…hah.”
Joo Seung-ha sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Not expecting to have to make such an embarrassing excuse, he turned his gaze to the side.
“I just…haven’t eaten today, that’s all.”
