PTK Ch 31 – END.
by soapaEuihyun sat in the CEO’s office for a long time. Originally, his ten-day vacation, a gift for the completion of filming <Himalaya>, was supposed to begin today. Cha Yiljoo had also made time to rest with him. Yet, from the very first day, he was summoned by Simon Kim. Simon Kim, despite calling Euihyun in, had been focused on his own work for tens of minutes. Park Hanyoung had been sent on an errand early on, so there was no one to reprimand him for his nonchalance.
It was only after another ten minutes or so had passed that Simon Kim approached and sat down.
“So, did you finish the last shoot well?”
“Yes.”
“Director Moon had nothing but praise for you. Now that it’s over, I’m already looking forward to the release date.”
“I didn’t do anything special.”
“If Euihyun didn’t do it, would the camera have done it itself? Anyway, you were injured this time and it must have been physically demanding, you’ve worked hard.”
He offered encouragement mixed with a touch of teasing. Euihyun smiled awkwardly and thanked him. Simon Kim placed an envelope in front of him.
“I hear the script for your next project has been revised. They asked you to check it before the script reading, and since you’re on vacation from today until then…”
While listening to the explanation, Euihyun checked the contents of the envelope. Two book-shaped scripts were inside. It was for a drama called <Game> that would air starting in July. He had already chosen it as his next project and had been studying the role in his spare time while filming <Himalaya>.
<Game> portrays the greed of people chasing after ‘money,’ the most valuable asset in modern society. One of the main characters, ‘Namhyung,’ has a strong desire for upward mobility. Having experienced a difficult family life and poverty since childhood, he waits for a prince to lead him into high society. However, rather than simply dreaming of Cinderella, she actively carves her own path.
Leading a double life as an ordinary university student by day and an employee at a high-end adult entertainment establishment, also known as a ‘Tenpro,’ by night, ‘Namhyung’ is approached by a man. It’s ‘Taewoo,’ a junior from the same department. However, ‘Namhyung’ doesn’t find the young and exceptionally innocent ‘Taewoo’ appealing. Her attitude towards ‘Taewoo’ changes abruptly after she coincidentally discovers that he is a third-generation chaebol heir.
‘Namhyung’ quietly puts his affairs in order and seeks out ‘Taewoo.’ ‘Taewoo’ doesn’t suspect the reason for her sudden kindness. He believes every word she says, displaying pure and unwavering love. As a result, ‘Namhyung’ successfully marries ‘Taewoo.’ The real story begins there. The true nature of the prince, who had seemed innocent to the point of being foolish, is finally revealed. The chaebol family, which ‘Namhyung’ believed to be a castle, is nothing but a silent battlefield where only the logic of money exists.
The character Euihyun was to play was ‘Taewoo.’ At first glance, he appears like a prince charming from a fairy tale, but he is a survivor who has personally experienced the principles of surviving in wartime. It was a character he had never played before. This aspect seemed to be what intrigued Simon Kim.
“This will probably be your first time playing a character with such a twisted inner self, right?”
“Yes.”
“I’m a bit tired of the perpetually self-sacrificing, pure-hearted man whose desire for revenge is shaken by love. It’s more interesting to see someone who uses everyone, family, friends, or lovers, without hesitation for their own gain. I’m curious to see what kind of bad guy you’ll portray, Euihyun. Personally, I am.”
“There are still some aspects that feel ambiguous to me. I’ll study hard during my vacation.”
“Do that. There’s a reference right next to you.”
There seemed to be a hidden meaning in his words. Before Euihyun could grasp its meaning, the topic changed.
“By the way, are you leaving right away today?”
“Excuse me? Where to…?”
“Didn’t you agree to spend your vacation with Yiljoo? That’s what I heard.”
“Ah, yes.”
“That laid-back guy has been fussing about buying this and that for a month now. He was very satisfied, saying he’d be spending his entire vacation there.”
Euihyun looked completely puzzled. Simon Kim was equally surprised. Had they not discussed it with each other?
Some time ago, Cha Yiljoo confidently requested a vacation. He wanted to be compensated for working tirelessly since Euihyun finished filming <Himalaya>. He initially asked for a month, but they eventually settled on ten days. Simon Kim also added the condition that he shouldn’t wander around carelessly and get photographed. Cha Yiljoo, with a strange expression, reassured him not to worry and seemed quite busy afterward, looking into various things. Simon Kim assumed it was something decided in agreement with Euihyun, as Cha Yiljoo had even booked flights. However, Euihyun seemed completely unaware. He didn’t know what was going on.
Just then, the door burst open. Simon Kim and Euihyun’s gazes simultaneously turned towards the doorway. They assumed it was Park Hanyoung returning. But, unexpectedly, it was Cha Yiljoo who entered.
“What brings you here?”
Instead of answering the question, Cha Yiljoo approached the sofa. When his eyes met Euihyun’s, he smiled as if by magic. Euihyun also smiled silently, showing clear signs of welcoming him. Simon Kim’s face became noticeably displeased.
“I came to rescue Euihyun. I heard he was pitifully held captive here.”
“We had important matters to discuss, as CEO and artist. Important business that couldn’t be postponed for a mere vacation. Isn’t that right, Euihyun?”
“Ah, yes.”
“That important business, it’s all finished now, right?”
“Why are you rushing us?”
Simon Kim grumbled disapprovingly. Unfazed, Cha Yiljoo said, “Let’s go,” and gently pulled Euihyun’s wrist. Bewildered, Euihyun was dragged along by him without a moment to process the situation.
As they were about to leave the CEO’s office, they paused.
“Don’t contact me unless someone dies or something.”
He delivered the message of ‘do not disturb’ in the strongest possible terms. Euihyun hurriedly bowed his head. He forced a smile and waved his hand.
After the two left and the door closed, muffled voices could be heard from outside. Soon, Park Hanyoung entered. It seemed he had encountered the two on his way back.
“Where are those two going?”
“It’s their vacation starting today. I guess they’re going somewhere together.”
“I asked where they were going, but they absolutely refused to tell me.”
“They’re both adults, and it’s their private life. What are you going to do knowing anyway? More importantly, how’s the weather outside?”
“If you’re curious, why don’t you go out and see for yourself?”
“Do I look that free to you?”
Simon Kim opened the window, muttering, “I wish it would rain cats and dogs.” The warm, fragrant breeze, characteristic of May, blew in gently.
“…Damn good.”
“It seems like a perfect spring day.”
He probably wasn’t referring specifically to Cha Yiljoo and Euihyun. But the remark sounded so fitting that Park Hanyoung chuckled.
Spring had truly arrived.
Cha Yiljoo’s car sped down the road. Euihyun had assumed they were going home, but the direction was different. They hadn’t made any specific plans for their vacation. That’s why it was difficult to guess their destination. Was he planning a drive? Glancing at Cha Yiljoo, he seemed to be in a good mood. A smile never left his face.
After observing him for a while, Euihyun cautiously spoke.
“Where are we going?”
“We’re going to Cheongju International Airport.”
“…The airport?”
Euihyun’s eyes widened. As if anticipating such a reaction, Cha Yiljoo chuckled.
“Open the glove compartment in front.”
Confused, Euihyun did as Cha Yiljoo instructed. Inside, there were plane tickets. The route was to Johannesburg, South Africa, via Hong Kong. His English name was clearly printed on the tickets as the passenger, but he still couldn’t figure out what was going on.
“What is this?”
“I found a place where we can relax comfortably. Let’s go there and rest.”
“But I haven’t packed anything. Not even my passport.”
“I brought your passport, Euihyun. I also packed some underwear and pajamas for you. If you need anything else, we can buy it on the way.”
He spoke casually, then naturally extended his hand. Euihyun hesitantly took his hand, and Cha Yiljoo interlocked their fingers without hesitation. He liked how Cha Yiljoo gently stroked the back of his hand with his thumb.
“Did you sleep well last night?”
“Yes. I don’t even remember when or how I fell asleep.”
“I guess you were relieved after finishing filming. How are you feeling?”
“It’s always the same. Bittersweet.”
“It feels like I was the only one looking forward to it. I’m just happy that I don’t have to send you far away anymore, and there’s less chance of you getting hurt.”
“Ah…”
Euihyun scratched the back of his ear sheepishly. Cha Yiljoo pulled Euihyun’s hand and kissed the back of it. He expressed his affection constantly. It felt like he was being reassured every day, every moment, that he was loved.
While they were having an ordinary conversation, they arrived at Cheongju International Airport. Cha Yiljoo personally put on the hat and mask he had prepared for Euihyun. He also covered his own face similarly. Even so, their characteristic height and aura couldn’t be concealed.
Fortunately, it was a weekday at a regional airport, so there weren’t many passengers. They quickly completed the departure procedures and boarded the plane. It was a journey that took them through Hong Kong to Johannesburg, and from there, they would take another domestic flight to Cape Town. It was a flight that lasted over a full day.
Because of the sudden trip, Euihyun felt dazed throughout the journey. He had wanted to travel impulsively without any plans or luggage at least once, but he never imagined he would do it long-distance like this. It felt like a waking dream. When they arrived in Johannesburg, it felt even more unreal. They were told it would take another two hours to get to Cape Town from there. He was starting to feel mentally and physically exhausted, but the fact that there were significantly fewer people who recognized them made him feel free.
After a full 28 hours, they reached their final destination, Cape Town. As they stepped out of the airport, the air felt distinctly different. The temperature was warm but not humid, with an occasional cool breeze. The sky, the roads, the trees, the people, everything was new.
“This way, Euihyun.”
While Euihyun was lost in the exotic scenery, Cha Yiljoo gently took his hand and led him. He didn’t let go of his hand immediately nor hide their joined hands in his pocket.
They went to the parking lot and picked up a car. It was probably a rental car, but the interior was strangely clean. Although the plastic covers had been removed, the new car smell hadn’t faded at all. There was no trace of anyone else having used it. Come to think of it, they hadn’t stopped by the rental car booth.
Just as Euihyun was about to ask what was going on, Cha Yiljoo spoke first.
“Winter here is from May to August. Even though it’s warm like this now, it seems to get quite chilly in the mornings and evenings. You can easily catch a cold if you’re not careful.”
“Ah, I see.”
“It’ll take a few more hours to get to the accommodation, will you be alright?”
“I’m fine.”
“If you’re tired, get some sleep. You didn’t sleep well on the plane, either.”
“No. Let’s talk while we go.”
“Shall we?”
The car started without a sound. It smoothly exited the parking lot as if it originally belonged to Cha Yiljoo.
They left the airport and entered a wide road. As they drove for a while, the number of cars gradually decreased, and the road became noticeably narrower. The scenery on both sides of the road changed dramatically, with vast green meadows replacing tall buildings. The clear blue sky provided a stark contrast.
The road eventually narrowed into a single lane and became increasingly steep. Below the guardrail, the endless blue ocean shimmered, reflecting the sunlight. Everywhere Euihyun looked, colorful and exotic landscapes filled his vision. The fatigue from the long flight seemed to wash away in an instant.
How long had they been driving? The car suddenly stopped on the shoulder. Puzzled, Euihyun looked around, but they were still on the road. He couldn’t see anything that looked like accommodation.
“Are we here?”
“Not yet. Do you want to get out for a moment?”
Cha Yiljoo unbuckled his seatbelt first and got out of the car. Euihyun wasn’t sure what was going on, but he silently followed suit. The wind whipped through his hair. The cold air rushed through his collar. It was probably because they were facing the ocean and it was near sunset.
The sun was setting, painting the sea red. Even the surrounding mist was tinged with the sunset colors. The transformation of nature unfolding before his eyes was truly breathtaking. As he gazed blankly at the surreal scene, Cha Yiljoo approached him from behind. He naturally pulled Euihyun into an embrace.
“…Uh.”
“No one will come here.”
He reassured Euihyun with a tone close to certainty. In fact, they hadn’t encountered a single car while driving up the hillside road.
Euihyun gently grasped Cha Yiljoo’s arms around his shoulders. Then, as Cha Yiljoo always did for him, he caressed the back of his hand and watched the sunset for a while. Until a moment ago, he had been slightly chilled and stiff, but Cha Yiljoo’s body heat made him forget all about it.
Cha Yiljoo suddenly lifted Euihyun’s hand. He blew warm breath onto his cold hand.
“Aren’t you cold?”
“No. Thanks to you, Yiljoo.”
Embarrassed, Euihyun curled his hand. Cha Yiljoo pressed his lips against his hand and then slipped something onto his ring finger. It was ring-shaped but too large and loose to be called a ring. A card key-like object dangled from it.
“What… is this?”
“A gift for you, Euihyun.”
Cha Yiljoo didn’t offer a detailed explanation. He simply lifted Euihyun’s hand with his own, slowly raising it into the air. Gradually, a building in the distance came into view. Judging by its isolated location on the cliff and its appearance, it looked like someone’s villa. Because the front of the building was made of glass and because of the illusion created by the distance, it looked as if the building itself was a jewel set on a ring.
“I chose it carefully. I hope you like it too, Euihyun.”
He confirmed Euihyun’s incredulous suspicion. Euihyun stared blankly back at Cha Yiljoo. He smiled casually and said, “Let’s go.” He even personally led Euihyun, who was frozen in place, and placed him in the passenger seat.
The car ascended the hill again. After passing through a tall iron gate that appeared midway, they got closer and closer to the villa. A significant portion of the villa’s exterior walls was made of glass. As the sunlight sensor activated, lights came on inside. As expected, the inside was clearly visible. The only saving grace was that there were no other buildings around.
“Go on in.”
Cha Yiljoo suggested, taking the luggage out of the trunk. Still dazed, Euihyun started walking. He touched the card key attached to the ring to the front door lock. The door opened with a clear electronic beep.
As he stepped inside, the open interior space came into view at a glance. Except for the bathroom, there were no doors separating the different areas. The window opposite the bed was a folding door, allowing one to gaze at the Atlantic Ocean even while lying down.
The cliff itself was like a lawn attached to the villa. A small swimming pool was situated on one side. Two sunbeds were placed side by side.
The ceiling of the main bathroom, which had a bathtub, was also entirely made of glass. It seemed like he could stargaze while taking a bath at night. On the rooftop, there was a small table and chairs, along with a telescope for observing the celestial bodies.
Even though he was seeing it with his own eyes, he couldn’t believe such a place existed.
“Do you like it?”
Cha Yiljoo, who had approached him at some point, whispered softly into his ear. Euihyun nodded absentmindedly. Then he quickly came to his senses and hurriedly returned the card key.
“There’s no need to stay in such a wonderful place…”
“Is this place… wonderful?”
“Yes? Yes, of course…”
“That’s good.”
“I’m happy just being at home with you, Yiljoo.”
“I know. That’s why I liked this place. We can play and relax as much as we want without worrying about anyone’s eyes. Let’s spend our vacations together here from now on.”
“…….”
“Why aren’t you answering?”
“It’s like a dream.”
He mumbled with a dumbfounded look. Cha Yiljoo smiled and took his hand, placing the card key back into it. Euihyun’s eyes hesitantly met his.
“Shall I show you? Whether it’s a dream or not.”
He whispered sweetly and then suddenly kissed him. Euihyun looked a little flustered, as if he had expected a kiss. Cha Yiljoo lightly kissed his lips again before pulling away. This time, Euihyun shyly averted his gaze. When Cha Yiljoo cupped his cheeks, Euihyun instinctively held his hands. Ignoring this, Cha Yiljoo continued to shower Euihyun’s lips and cheeks with kisses.
Lips landed repeatedly in short bursts. In the midst of this, Euihyun was subtly pushed back and stumbled backward. His eyes squeezed shut from the playful onslaught of kisses. Cha Yiljoo lightly licked his eyelids as if tracing his eyelashes. Euihyun’s neck twitched at the ticklish sensation. At that moment, his legs bumped against the bed. Losing his balance, his whole body fell back onto it.
Cha Yiljoo climbed on top of Euihyun with practiced ease. He slid his hands from his cheeks to his waist and kissed him more tenderly. He gently sucked on Euihyun’s full lips, pulling back slightly and then returning, repeating the motion.
Euihyun’s eyelids fluttered open at the gentle kiss. In that short time, a slight fever had returned, and his eyes were hazy. His body was as stiff as a log, yet it was sensitive and honest.
Licking and wetting the seam of their joined lips with his tongue, Cha Yiljoo tilted his head and plunged deeper into his mouth. Euihyun closed his eyes again and let out a small moan. His body, which had been lying flat, twitched slightly. Cha Yiljoo teased Euihyun’s tongue, which had been curled up inside, with his own and then pressed their bodies together when he felt a subtle response. A moan escaped Euihyun’s lips again.
His body, chilled by the cold wind, gradually warmed and relaxed. Cha Yiljoo gently sucked and released Euihyun’s tongue, which had been softened from the kissing. Euihyun looked up at him with dazed eyes.
“Shall we wash up together?”
He asked with the face of an angel. Somehow, it was difficult to refuse.
The bathtub was filled with warm, overflowing water. After showering, Cha Yiljoo slipped behind Euihyun without hesitation. The sound of the overflowing water stimulated Euihyun’s already heightened senses. His already tense body tensed up even more. Cha Yiljoo leaned back against the edge of the tub and observed Euihyun’s back. His buttocks, pressed against the hard bottom of the tub, were lifted elastically. His eyes moved slowly. As everyone had praised, it was a back that evoked various feelings. Cha Yiljoo suddenly reached out.
“Maybe it’s because I keep touching it. It seems to have gotten darker than before.”
He pressed gently on the inside of Euihyun’s shoulder blades. Euihyun’s body trembled slightly at the ticklish sensation. The pooled water splashed softly.
Cha Yiljoo’s gaze softened. He slowly traced his index finger down Euihyun’s spine.
“You have such a straight spine, Euihyun. It makes me want to touch it.”
“Uh… Um…”
Euihyun fidgeted, not knowing what to do. Cha Yiljoo chuckled and pulled him into an embrace, preventing him from escaping his touch. Because of the buoyancy, Euihyun was powerless to resist and was drawn towards him. Their firm chests and backs touched, and he ended up sitting between Cha Yiljoo’s legs. Cha Yiljoo rested his head on Euihyun’s shoulder, which was squirming with awkwardness. His wet hair tickled Euihyun’s bare skin. He wrapped his arms around Euihyun’s waist and gently stroked his stomach. He also kissed his neck repeatedly. The languid, continued intimacy softened Euihyun’s stiff body somewhat.
“There are so many stars here.”
“Ah, you’re right.”
Following Euihyun’s gaze, Cha Yiljoo looked up at the ceiling. Through the specially made glass window, designed to prevent condensation, twinkling stars were faintly visible. He operated a button inside the tub to dim the interior lights. Then, the night sky was fully visible through the transparent ceiling. The stars densely embroidered across the black sky looked as if they were about to pour down. It was mesmerizing. After staring in awe for a while, Euihyun gasped.
“Oh, just now.”
He turned to Cha Yiljoo for confirmation. Cha Yiljoo kissed him quickly in that moment.
“I saw it too. It was a shooting star, wasn’t it?”
“…Yes. It’s my first time seeing one in person.”
He murmured dreamily, looking up again. The sky had become calm, as if nothing had happened. Euihyun, who had been looking up without any apparent neck pain, suddenly turned his head to the side. It was because Cha Yiljoo had suddenly embraced his shoulders and waist tightly. Their backs and chests touched again. Unlike before, Euihyun quietly placed his arm over Cha Yiljoo’s. Cha Yiljoo pressed his lips against the warm skin of his ear.
“Did you make a wish?”
Euihyun silently nodded. Cha Yiljoo asked in a low voice, “What did you wish for?” When Euihyun didn’t answer, he teased his earlobe repeatedly, urging him to tell him. Euihyun, unable to resist any longer, finally confessed.
“My wish is for your wish to come true, Yiljoo.”
Even after hearing the answer he had been so persistent about, Cha Yiljoo remained silent. The strength in his arms, which had been holding Euihyun, momentarily loosened. The smile that usually lingered on his face disappeared behind a hardened expression. It was so unexpected that his brain seemed to have temporarily stopped functioning.
“This won’t do.”
He suddenly muttered to himself. Euihyun looked back at him questioningly. Cha Yiljoo kissed his lips and smiled bloodlessly.
“I was thinking of just letting you sleep tonight, but I really can’t.”
They made love all night. Drenched in sweat, unable to move even a finger, Euihyun passed out and fell into a deep sleep. Perhaps due to exhaustion or the comfortable bedding, he slept soundly without dreaming.
He woke up only when the sunlight became too bright to bear. Without a clock or his phone turned on, he couldn’t tell what time it was. Glancing down, he saw the deep blue ocean shimmering, reflecting the sunlight. He stared blankly for a moment, then casually put on a robe and went outside. It was quite chilly, as expected for winter. The wind blowing in from the distant sea was overwhelming in its force. As he faced it head-on, he felt refreshed.
Lost in the moment, he suddenly felt something warm envelop him. It was a blanket. Cha Yiljoo, who had followed him out, wrapped Euihyun in the blanket. They watched the ocean until they were satisfied, then went back inside and fell asleep again. They woke up late in the afternoon and had a combined breakfast and lunch. During the day, they laid on sunbeds, enjoying the sun and swimming in the heated pool. Whenever they felt drowsy, they would lean against something and doze off, satisfying their hunger with fruits or warm tea. They spent the remaining time reading books and scripts.
Even though their surroundings were completely open, there was nothing to be concerned about, and they felt at peace. It had been so long since they had enjoyed such leisure. As time went on, they became less aware of its passage, losing track of the boundaries between days.
Once again, the sun set, and the interior lights began to turn on automatically one by one. Cha Yiljoo came over and took away the script Euihyun was reading.
“Why don’t you go wash up, Euihyun?”
He seemed to have just showered, as his hair was slightly damp. His signature lotion scent was stronger than usual. Euihyun had been feeling a little tired anyway.
He obediently got up and headed to the bathroom. Cha Yiljoo, watching him, glanced at the script in his hand. It seemed to be the next project they had been talking about. Bringing work even on vacation. He shook his head in disbelief and flipped through the pages lightly. Then, his hand gradually stopped. His eyes carefully scanned a particular section.
“…You’re going to do this?”
He let out a chuckle. Even though Euihyun’s personality changed in front of the camera, he wasn’t sure if he could pull off this kind of acting.
He sat down in a chair and began to examine the script in earnest. A sly smile slowly spread across his face.
When Euihyun came out of the shower, Cha Yiljoo was drinking wine. He still held the script for <Game> in his hand. At the sound of Euihyun approaching, he turned around. When their eyes met, he silently extended his hand. Now accustomed to it, Euihyun took his hand without hesitation. Cha Yiljoo pulled Euihyun closer and smelled the back of his hand.
“It’s nice. You smell like me, Euihyun.”
He seemed very pleased. Once again, Euihyun couldn’t find anything appropriate to say. He just fidgeted with his wet hair.
Cha Yiljoo sat Euihyun down next to him and poured him some wine in an empty glass. It was a local wine they had bought together at the grocery store. Euihyun took a sip. Even though it was a white wine, it boasted a full body. From the moment it touched his palate to the moment it went down his throat, the refreshing, crisp sensation and high acidity made him purse his lips. He quietly put down the glass and asked,
“What were you doing?”
“I saw you kept looking at this even after coming all the way here, so I was reading to see how interesting it was.”
“Well… I have a script reading as soon as we go back, and they said there were some revisions.”
Cha Yiljoo nodded understandingly. He continued to flip through the pages.
“There’s a bed scene in the first episode.”
“…Ah, yes.”
“Do you think you can do it well?”
His face was full of amusement as he asked. As if worried Euihyun might misunderstand, he immediately added,
“It’s not that, I just can’t imagine it.”
“Honestly, it is a bit daunting.”
Euihyun confessed honestly. As an actor, he was often asked to perform various love scenes. Although there had been an increase in productions without any romantic elements recently, ‘love’ was still a popular theme in Korean dramas. Until now, he hadn’t had many leading roles, and at most, it was just kissing scenes, so he had managed somehow. However, a bed scene was a completely different matter. The fact that his first attempt was far from pure love made it even more challenging.
In the drama, ‘Taewoo’ learns about ‘Namhyung’s’ past the day before their wedding. ‘Namhyung’ pleads, claiming his feelings for him are sincere, and ‘Taewoo’ ultimately can’t abandon her. His foolishly naive love takes a turn in the next scene. ‘Taewoo’ accepts ‘Namhyung’ because he has been aware of all her lies from the beginning. It wasn’t that he loved her enough to accept her despite knowing the truth, but rather that he judged her to be useful enough to overlook everything. In bed, ‘Taewoo’ reveals his true self for the first time. This scene demonstrated that he was not just a prince charming from a fairy tale. The more unconventional the scene, the greater the impact of the twist. Since it was a drama, it had to be expressed implicitly rather than explicitly, yet convincingly.
Seeing Euihyun’s troubled expression, Cha Yiljoo suddenly offered to help.
“Shall I help you?”
“Yes? How…?”
“We can practice beforehand. I’ll be your partner.”
It wasn’t a difficult suggestion. Yet, Euihyun couldn’t grasp it immediately. As he looked at Cha Yiljoo for an explanation, Cha Yiljoo abruptly led him to the bed.
“You’ve memorized all your lines, right, Euihyun?” It seemed he was serious about practicing together. He was grateful for the offer to help, but he felt awkward about acting without a camera.
“Try to control your mind. Pretend you’re on set.”
Cha Yiljoo repeatedly encouraged Euihyun. Seeing him still hesitate, he reassured him with his eyes. It was a scene that had limitations when practiced alone. It required skill to create natural movements, eye contact, and a specific atmosphere between characters. Practicing was just a way to acquire that skill. There was no reason to refuse.
“Then, I’ll ask for your help for a moment.”
He quickly made up his mind. Cha Yiljoo smiled faintly and nodded. Euihyun cleared his throat with a cough. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before slowly opening them. That alone changed his expression considerably. He gazed at Cha Yiljoo with slightly unfocused eyes.
Cha Yiljoo took a step back as if to signal the start. Euihyun closed the distance, slowly pushing him towards the bed. Cha Yiljoo stumbled back and finally sat down on the bed. Euihyun gently stroked his cheek with the back of his hand before suddenly grabbing his chin.
“I know women like you. You’ve probably never felt satisfied in your life. Because you probably don’t like anything that truly belongs to you. Oh, except for this pretty face, perhaps?”
A cynical voice came from Euihyun’s mouth. His tone was strangely twisted. A chilling air emanated from his indifferent gaze at Cha Yiljoo. He had become a completely different person in an instant. A faint smile spread across Cha Yiljoo’s lips.
“You’ve probably lived your whole life running away. You must have desperately wanted to escape that mire. That’s why you didn’t care who or what you used, right? Guilt? Shame? You couldn’t possibly have such things. If you did, you wouldn’t have made it this far. It’s only natural that a man like me would choose you. Why? Because you’ve always thought you weren’t someone who belonged in that gutter. That you just happened to fall there because of bad luck. But you know what? There’s one thing people like you misunderstand.”
Euihyun pushed Cha Yiljoo down onto the bed. Then, climbing on top of him, he grabbed his shirt tightly. But that was all. It was clearly different from the stage directions in the script. Cha Yiljoo grabbed Euihyun’s wrist, which seemed to be trying to pull away after just a gesture, and pulled it back towards his shirt.
“If you’re going to do it, do it properly.”
“……”
Euihyun’s cold facade crumbled, revealing his genuine bewilderment. Cha Yiljoo warned him again, “Focus.” Euihyun collected himself again.
He grabbed Cha Yiljoo’s shirt and ripped it open roughly. Buttons flew off in all directions, instantly revealing his broad chest. Euihyun’s hands flinched and stopped.
“Aren’t you going to say your line?”
At the reprimand, he spoke a beat late.
“…Why do you think that while you’re a fake Cinderella, the prince is real? When your own affection and loyalty are dictated by money, on what basis do you believe the other person’s love is true and pure?”
“Why are you acting like this all of a sudden? Are you drunk?”
Cha Yiljoo responded with ‘Namhyung’s’ line. For some reason, it seemed shorter and had a different nuance than the actual script. But Euihyun didn’t show it and silently continued his acting.
“Was it fun? Playing with me?”
He sneered, lifting the corners of his mouth. Cha Yiljoo, engraving the unfamiliar image of Euihyun in his eyes, continued reciting ‘Namhyung’s’ lines.
“Playing with you? You’re mistaken. I don’t know how I was before, but I’m different now. I changed after meeting you.”
His tone wasn’t subservient at all. Rather, it was overflowing with confidence. His hands were now holding Euihyun’s waist. Immersed in his acting, Euihyun wasn’t aware of this. With his innocent face, he gave a chilling smile.
“There’s no need to try so hard. I don’t care about your past or your real intentions. It’s not a lie that you’re my type. I wanted a woman who is vulgar, tenacious, and willing to throw away her pride for money. The perfect bride for a limbless idiot.”
It was a passage that hinted at how ‘Taewoo’ had survived the silent war within his family. By becoming a complete idiot. This was also the reason why he had pretended to be fooled by ‘Namhyung’, even though he knew exactly what kind of woman she was.
After finishing his line, Euihyun pressed his lips against Cha Yiljoo’s neck. Then, Cha Yiljoo, who had been quiet until then, burst out laughing. When Euihyun looked at him questioningly, a playful scolding followed.
“Do you think that’s enough? You need to be more aggressive.”
He demanded openly. Euihyun bit down on Cha Yiljoo’s neck again, putting more force into it. Perhaps he bit too hard, as Cha Yiljoo groaned softly and frowned. Euihyun flinched in surprise. The strength in his hand, which had been pressing on Cha Yiljoo’s shoulder, immediately drained.
“Was the twist that you’re actually a vampire?”
“…I’m sorry.”
“If this were filming, you would’ve had at least three NGs by now.”
While advising him, Cha Yiljoo pulled Euihyun, who had half-risen, back down. After hesitating for a moment, Euihyun reluctantly pressed his lips against Cha Yiljoo’s neck again. As his nose touched Cha Yiljoo’s skin, his unique scent became even stronger. Euihyun’s ears felt warm for no reason. He felt slightly intoxicated. He nibbled on Cha Yiljoo’s neck and then opened his mouth to suck on his prominent Adam’s apple. Cha Yiljoo’s chest slowly rose and fell. Watching his reaction, Euihyun sucked on his Adam’s apple. This time, Cha Yiljoo let out a soft chuckle, as if tickled.
“…Should I do more?”
“Where’s the bad guy who’s supposed to be punishing me relentlessly? You shouldn’t be asking me every single time.”
Cha Yiljoo grinned and pulled Euihyun’s neck closer, kissing him softly. After receiving a series of kisses, Euihyun pressed against Cha Yiljoo’s shoulder, then gently tilted his head and touched his lips to Cha Yiljoo’s. Euihyun’s body naturally settled against Cha Yiljoo’s abdomen. Cha Yiljoo supported his waist and silently responded to the kiss Euihyun was leading.
Before Euihyun could even coax his tongue out, Cha Yiljoo offered it willingly. Euihyun cautiously touched his tongue to Cha Yiljoo’s, rubbing it gently and then sucking on it. Seeing him so engrossed, like a calf suckling its mother, the corners of Cha Yiljoo’s lips curled upwards. He watched Euihyun, who was diligently kissing him with his eyes half-open. Meanwhile, his hand stealthily lifted Euihyun’s shirt.
Finally, Euihyun took a short breath and broke the kiss. His reddened lips were shiny with saliva. Cha Yiljoo, watching him quietly, lifted his head and repeatedly kissed his cheeks, chin, and neck. He lightly sucked on his collarbone with his lips and then nibbled on his nipple through his shirt. Euihyun’s upper body swayed involuntarily.
“…Ah, uh.”
“Haven’t you filmed bed scenes in movies before?”
“Uh, no.”
“Shall we practice that too, while we’re at it?”
“Excuse me?”
“This is what usually happens after the ‘covering up’ is done.”
Cha Yiljoo pressed his erection against Euihyun’s perineum. He slowly moved his lower body, rubbing against the area where they touched. A tingling sensation spread as their sensitive areas rubbed together. Because Euihyun was on top of him, the added weight increased the sensitivity. Cha Yiljoo firmly held Euihyun’s waist, which flinched, and continued to rub against him.
“…Uh, uh.”
Euihyun shuddered. His hands, barely supporting his collapsing upper body, clutched the pillow Cha Yiljoo was resting on. His arms trembled from the continued stimulation. The corners of Cha Yiljoo’s lips curled upwards even more.
“Come to think of it, this position is quite familiar, isn’t it?”
“Huh… Excuse me?”
“It was a similar composition when we were filming that commercial in the US, wasn’t it?”
Looking down at Cha Yiljoo felt strangely familiar. Was that why the tension and awkwardness from that time were vividly resurfacing? There was a time when just being close to Cha Yiljoo made Euihyun breathless. Even though it wasn’t that long ago, it felt like a distant memory.
“Actually, I was quite surprised back then. I never imagined I’d see such an expression on your face, Euihyun. It was disorienting to see unexpected sensuality emanating from your normally ascetic mask. I think I was momentarily entranced. I became curious about what other sides you were hiding behind that innocent face.”
It was ironic to hear such blunt expressions like “you turn me on” or “you’re sensual” coming from Cha Yiljoo. The speaker himself seemed unconcerned, but the dissonance made the listener feel even more embarrassed.
Euihyun’s head drooped. Cha Yiljoo repeatedly pressed his lips against his warm neck and then sucked on his nipple through his shirt again. As the white shirt became damp with saliva, his skin was clearly visible. The suction and the feel of his neat teeth became even more distinct. Cha Yiljoo nibbled on the opaque, deep pink spot before finally sucking on it. Euihyun’s upper body lurched forward. His hunched shoulders trembled.
“…Huh.”
“Does this feel good?”
He asked, slightly breaking away. Euihyun simply pressed his lips together. Where had the assertive character from just a moment ago gone?
“Lift your shirt a little, Euihyun. I’ll suck you properly.”
“No, that…”
Euihyun’s face flushed crimson at the blatant request. Cha Yiljoo circled the wet area with the tip of his tongue and urged, “Come on.” Euihyun hesitated, not knowing what to do. After a while, he hesitantly lifted the hem of his shirt. However, due to his extremely hesitant gesture, only his stomach was slightly exposed.
Cha Yiljoo, who had been patiently waiting, rubbed against his groin insistently. The area, starting to heat up, was subtly stimulated. A moan inevitably escaped Euihyun’s lips.
“Uh…”
“I can’t see yet, Euihyun.”
He chuckled softly and urged him on shamelessly. Euihyun reluctantly lifted his shirt further. His hands trembled slightly. His head was completely turned to the side. Cha Yiljoo, with a satisfied expression, gently kissed his pale areola. He also traced the edge of his nipple with the tip of his tongue. Even though he had fully revealed his skin, Cha Yiljoo continued to lick only the surrounding area, causing Euihyun’s upper body to instinctively move closer. Cha Yiljoo chuckled and opened his mouth, engulfing his hardened nipple with his tongue. Euihyun’s waist stiffened. His shoulders trembled as if they were about to collapse.
Cha Yiljoo supported his waist even more firmly. He tightly sucked on the small bud with his lips, then rubbed and kneaded it with his tongue, pressing on it before deliberately sucking it again. Euihyun’s whole body trembled as if convulsing. Their joined lower bodies also rubbed together subtly. When Cha Yiljoo nibbled on it with his teeth, Euihyun finally moaned and collapsed.
“Ahh, ha, uh…”
He persistently sucked on the reddened flesh. Euihyun’s upper body, which had been stubbornly holding on, completely crumbled. Cha Yiljoo hugged him tightly with one arm and licked his nipple more tenderly. Meanwhile, his hand moved downwards, undoing his pants buckle and lowering his zipper. However, because their bodies were pressed close together, he couldn’t pull his pants down any further.
“Lift your hips a little, Euihyun.”
Euihyun groaned and slowly lifted his hips. Cha Yiljoo quickly pulled down his pants and underwear. Then, kissing his neck softly, he whispered, “Good boy.” He felt Euihyun’s body stiffen as he touched the cleft of his buttocks. It seemed like he needed to loosen him up a bit.
He sat up, leaning against the headboard. Euihyun was now awkwardly draped against him. Repeatedly pressing his lips against his forehead and hair, Cha Yiljoo unzipped his pants and took out his penis. His already erect penis sprung out. He grasped it in one hand, along with Euihyun’s penis, which had been rubbing softly against his abdomen. Euihyun’s thighs twitched.
“You do it, Euihyun.”
He guided Euihyun’s hand. Euihyun, who had been staring blankly at the two throbbing members, cautiously reached out. His fingers gently wrapped around the heated penis. Just that touch caused a large ripple in Cha Yiljoo’s abdomen. The corners of his lips curled upwards slightly. Euihyun glanced at Cha Yiljoo’s expression as he stroked their penises. The tingling pleasure originating from his groin spread throughout his lower abdomen.
“…Uh.”
“Good, Euihyun. Keep going.”
He whispered sweetly, licking Euihyun’s earlobe. Being called by his name at the end of every sentence made him feel strangely intoxicated. Whenever Cha Yiljoo murmured “Euihyun” sweetly, his lust was further fueled as if by a spell.
While Euihyun awkwardly rubbed their penises together, Cha Yiljoo reached for the bedside table. He opened a drawer, revealing neatly organized condoms and lubricant. It was clearly prepared with care. Euihyun stopped moving his hand and looked over. Unfazed, Cha Yiljoo tore open a packet of lubricant and applied a generous amount to his hand. Then, he used that hand to caress Euihyun’s buttocks, thoroughly lubricating him. As the cold lubricant touched him, Euihyun’s entrance twitched and contracted.
Tracing each tightened wrinkle, Cha Yiljoo soothed him before slowly pushing his finger inside. Euihyun’s spine stiffened immediately. Cha Yiljoo pressed his lips against his tense shoulder as he inserted his finger deeper, exploring his inner walls. Euihyun’s body trembled at the distinct foreign sensation. His hand, which had been stroking their penises, stopped moving altogether.
While widening Euihyun’s entrance, Cha Yiljoo subtly thrust his hips upwards. This stimulated their penises, which had been held captive by Euihyun’s hand, as if they were being rubbed together.
“Ugh, ah, uh…”
His body, trying desperately to maintain its composure, kept collapsing. Eventually, he rested his head on Cha Yiljoo’s shoulder and groaned. A flush spread across his pale body as his temperature rose.
“…This is driving me crazy.”
Muttering to himself, Cha Yiljoo pulled out the finger that had been widening his inner walls. Then, he tore open a condom packet with his teeth and rolled it onto his penis. Even in that short time, he showered Euihyun’s heated neck with kisses. Soon, his penis rubbed against Euihyun’s lubricated entrance. Even through the thin condom, the distinct ridges repeatedly grazed the sensitive folds. Euihyun’s head buried itself deeper into the crook of Cha Yiljoo’s neck.
After persistently teasing his entrance, Cha Yiljoo wrapped his arms tightly around Euihyun’s waist. Then, slightly lifting his buttocks, he aligned the tip of his penis with his entrance. The softened opening gently enveloped the tip of his glans. Anticipation swelled, causing Cha Yiljoo’s penis to twitch repeatedly. He rubbed against Euihyun’s forehead. “Relax,” he whispered softly, slowly pushing his lower body upwards.
“Uh…”
Cha Yiljoo’s penis pushed in little by little, expanding his inner walls. Euihyun’s thighs instinctively tensed at the distinct foreign sensation. A tingling sensation shot through the back of his knees.
Cha Yiljoo slid his hand down and gently stroked Euihyun’s tense back. As Euihyun relaxed with a shudder, Cha Yiljoo tightened his grip on his back, holding him in place, and thrust his hips upwards. The penis, which had barely been inside, plunged in more than halfway, eliciting a sharp moan from Euihyun.
“Haa! Uh, ah…”
His inner walls pulsed relentlessly, squeezing the embedded penis tightly. He felt dizzy. Cha Yiljoo couldn’t help but feel impatient. He wanted nothing more than to thrust fully inside Euihyun and move freely. Seeing him cling to him, not knowing what to do, made it even harder to hold back.
Euihyun’s desperate moans filled Cha Yiljoo’s ears. It sounded like he was both afraid of what was to come and desperate for it to happen quickly. Cha Yiljoo grabbed Euihyun’s buttocks and spread them apart. Then, he thrust his hips upwards, burying himself to the hilt.
“……!”
As the lubricated penis plunged deep inside, Euihyun’s body convulsed. His eyes widened. Cha Yiljoo pulled him back down as he instinctively tried to escape. This caused their lower bodies to grind together even more intimately. The color drained from his face, then flushed immediately.
“Hah…”
A burning sensation resonated through his perineum, causing his buttocks to tremble. A desperate moan escaped his lips. It was almost a scream.
Cha Yiljoo also took a shaky breath. Perhaps due to the position, the pressure on his penis was greater than usual. Veins bulged on his forehead. He felt like something might happen if he stayed still.
“This won’t do, Euihyun. I’m going to move.”
Euihyun opened his tightly closed eyes and looked at Cha Yiljoo. His eyes were filled with apprehension. Moisture clung to his pupils and eyelashes. The last vestiges of his reason were being eroded. Cha Yiljoo exhaled, a sound close to a sigh, and buried his face in Euihyun’s neck. Then, he abruptly thrust his hips. Euihyun’s body bucked upwards and then slammed back down. The penis, which had momentarily appeared, was sucked back in.
“…Ah…”
Euihyun’s limbs twitched at the dull ache. As their joined bodies loosened momentarily, Cha Yiljoo pressed Euihyun’s arms against his body, holding him tightly, and continued to thrust his hips. Euihyun’s body was helplessly impaled and rocked back and forth. The friction between their sweat-slicked thighs and buttocks produced loud, obscene slapping sounds. The force of his thrusts and the weight of his body as he came down combined to send intense waves of pleasure through Euihyun’s spine.
“Ah, ah… uh, ugh…!”
He moaned incoherently, his body a mess. Whenever he tried to hold back even slightly, Cha Yiljoo relentlessly pursued him, pounding into him as if he were going to devour him whole, leaving him no room to resist.
Cha Yiljoo, who had been thrusting at a steady pace and depth, suddenly began to vary his movements. His glistening, lubricated penis curved inside, changing directions and grinding against every part of his sensitive inner walls. He thrust shallowly and quickly near his perineum, then without warning, he pushed his entire length inside and thrashed around.
“Haa, uh, ah… ah!”
Euihyun, who had been collapsing mindlessly, suddenly stiffened and shuddered. Goosebumps erupted across his skin.
“Ah…”
A breathless moan escaped his parted lips. His eyes, which had been gazing at Cha Yiljoo, flickered anxiously. A faint smile spread across Cha Yiljoo’s face, which had been momentarily dazed.
“Is this it?”
Euihyun shook his head. Cha Yiljoo gently kissed his shoulder and wrapped his arms around his back, buttocks, and thighs, holding him captive. Then, he began to thrust his hips again, deeply and quickly. He repeatedly hit the spot he had just grazed, ravaging the slick inner walls.
“S-Stop… Ah, uh, ah… Ha… Hah, uh…!”
Euihyun thrashed, gasping for breath between broken moans. His overheated body desperately tried to escape the intense stimulation. He didn’t know how to release the overwhelming pleasure that racked his entire being. His shoulders jerked repeatedly. He felt like his mind was going blank.
Cha Yiljoo abruptly sat up, changing their position. Euihyun’s body fell back onto the bed. Using both arms, he lifted and spread Euihyun’s thighs, repositioning himself. As the pressure inside him momentarily eased, Euihyun opened his eyes, which had been squeezed shut. His pupils, hidden behind his eyelids, were now languid and unfocused.
“…Why are you looking at me like that?”
He muttered as if exasperated. He licked Euihyun’s eyelashes, wiping away the moisture he couldn’t tell was sweat or tears. Then, he covered Euihyun’s barely parted lips with his own, their tongues tangling. Euihyun’s soft tongue met his sweetly.
His momentarily stilled lower body began to move again, thrusting relentlessly. His penis, on the verge of eruption, pounded in and out of Euihyun’s entrance. His movements were so merciless that it felt like his insides were being pulled out with each withdrawal. He lifted Euihyun’s collapsing body with his knee, relentlessly ravaging his insides. Euihyun, whose head had been thrashing from side to side, finally let out a high-pitched moan.
“Hah, ah, uhh…!”
Ragged breaths escaped between their joined and parting lips. His hands, gripping the bedsheets, were pitifully white. His toes, curled upwards, twitched repeatedly. He couldn’t think straight because of Cha Yiljoo’s relentless onslaught. Pressure built intensely in his head.
Cha Yiljoo pressed his chest fully against Euihyun’s, pinning him down. He interlocked Euihyun’s hands, which had been clawing at the sheets, and pressed them against the bed. Their abdomens also pressed together, completely flattening Euihyun’s penis. He sucked on Euihyun’s neck, who was groaning with his head thrown back, and thrust his hips again. With his legs spread wide, Euihyun could only endure Cha Yiljoo’s frantic movements.
“Ha, ha, Euihyun.”
“Uh, ah… Hah, ugh, uh, huh, ha…”
Unfiltered moans spilled from his lips. Every time Cha Yiljoo moved, his penis rubbed against his abdomen, causing a sharp pain. He wanted to push him away, but the intense heat and tingling sensation clung tenaciously to every part of his body. Unable to bear it any longer, he pleaded with Cha Yiljoo, who showed no sign of relenting.
“Hah… P-Please…”
“Please what? What do you want me to do?”
“F-Faster.”
Euihyun begged with a tearful face. Cha Yiljoo stared at him intently, then said, “Alright,” and abruptly pulled him up by his arms. Then, he laid back, creating a perfect reverse cowgirl position. As their positions reversed, his penis embedded itself even deeper. He whispered softly to Euihyun, who was biting back a moan,
“Move, Euihyun.”
Euihyun looked at Cha Yiljoo as if he had misheard. Cha Yiljoo urged, “Come on.” He was now holding Euihyun’s penis in his hand. He languidly stroked the glans with his thumb, then subtly blocked his urethra. He seemed determined not to let him cum easily.
“Good boy.”
He coaxed Euihyun like a child. Euihyun frowned and slowly lifted his lower body.
“Uh, uh…”
The penis that had been filling him scraped against his inner walls as it was slowly withdrawn. His waist swayed involuntarily. The shaft, now exposed except for the tip, was flushed red, seemingly engorged from the repeated friction. He couldn’t imagine the state of his insides, which had been relentlessly pounded.
He unintentionally glanced at Cha Yiljoo’s abdomen, which rippled like a living thing. It seemed as though he was suppressing his wildness for a moment, patiently waiting for the moment to explode. His penis, with only the tip still inside, twitched fiercely. Euihyun couldn’t bring himself to sit back down.
Cha Yiljoo urged him with his eyes to move. The penis held in his hand was sending waves of intense pain through him. He felt like he was about to explode.
“Ugh…”
He slowly lowered his body, putting strength into his lower half. Unlike when Cha Yiljoo moved himself, his penis was pushed in with resistance. Cha Yiljoo watched as his penis was swallowed, his chest and abdomen heaving together. He licked his lower lip, staring intently at Euihyun’s face.
Before Euihyun could fully sit down, he lifted his body again. Cha Yiljoo’s penis, lodged deep inside, clung stubbornly, making it difficult to pull out. He struggled for a while, bracing himself against Cha Yiljoo’s abdomen and thighs, when suddenly Cha Yiljoo’s lower body bucked upwards. This caused his penis, which had barely been withdrawn, to be thrust back in forcefully.
“…Ah!”
He lost his balance at the sudden movement. This caused even deeper penetration. Cha Yiljoo gently suggested to Euihyun, who couldn’t find anywhere to put his hands,
“Lean back a little, Euihyun.”
He no longer had the capacity to think or judge rationally. He just wanted this moment to be over quickly. He complied with Cha Yiljoo’s request and leaned back. His hands, which had nowhere to rest, gripped Cha Yiljoo’s knees to support his upper body. The next moment, as if unleashing his pent-up desire, Cha Yiljoo thrust his hips repeatedly. Because his center of gravity had shifted backward, he couldn’t support himself. He was relentlessly impaled.
“Ah, ah, ahh…!”
Euihyun groaned mindlessly, throwing his head back. Cha Yiljoo devoured him, gripping his twitching thighs. Their sweat-drenched buttocks and thighs slapped together and apart, producing wet, obscene sounds. Euihyun’s penis swung against Cha Yiljoo’s abdomen. He felt the blood drain from his head. His eyes felt like they were melting.
The thrusting gradually increased in speed. His vision flickered incessantly. His breath caught in his throat, coming out in ragged gasps. Then, at some point, his penis plunged into the deepest point it could reach and erupted hotly.
“Uh, ugh…”
Gritting his teeth, he ground his lower body against Euihyun. Thick veins stood out on his forehead from the intense pleasure. Euihyun, precariously impaled and swaying, simply endured the moment. Every time Cha Yiljoo pulsed, his body trembled along with it.
He reached out and pulled Euihyun’s arm. Euihyun collapsed into his arms without hesitation. Cha Yiljoo repeatedly kissed his neck, gently stroking his still swollen penis. Euihyun groaned, twisting his head.
“Ahh… Ah…!”
With one firm stroke, Euihyun shuddered and came, his body trembling. Cha Yiljoo’s hand became slick with semen. Unfazed, he continued to gently caress his penis. Euihyun let out a shaky breath. His stiff body twitched slightly.
“Ha… Ha…”
His chest heaved from the unusually intense lovemaking. His head throbbed as if lacking oxygen. Cha Yiljoo patted Euihyun’s back as he rested against him, gently pressing his lips to his forehead. Their sweat-soaked skin stuck together, but it wasn’t unpleasant at all.
“There are quite a lot of stars tonight.”
He murmured languidly, feeling Euihyun’s breath against his neck. Euihyun, who had been barely breathing, slowly turned his head. Indeed, the darkened sky was filled with stars. They seemed to shine even brighter against the dark backdrop.
“It’s like we’re inside the universe.”
He murmured in a hoarse voice. His gaze was still fixed on the window. Cha Yiljoo wrapped his arms around Euihyun’s shoulders and kissed his forehead again.
“I feel like I’ve seen an even greater universe within you, Euihyun.”
He whispered languidly. Euihyun’s face went blank. Cha Yiljoo kissed his cheek and lips repeatedly, then smiled.
“I really like you. So much that I don’t know what to do.”
Overwhelmed by the continuous affection, Euihyun lowered his head. He couldn’t offer any reply. He simply wrapped his arms around Cha Yiljoo in a tight embrace. Cha Yiljoo smiled faintly and showered Euihyun with kisses.
🎥
Even after regaining consciousness, he couldn’t open his eyes. He tried to get up, but failed each time. A figure kept flickering in his hazy vision. It seemed to be Cha Yiljoo. He tried to open his eyes again, but neither his eyelids nor his body would move. He couldn’t distinguish between dream and reality.
Cha Yiljoo approached. The bed tilted slightly to one side. Then, a familiar scent wafted over him. He felt his bangs being gently brushed aside, followed by a kiss on his forehead.
I’ll go get us something to eat. Sleep tight.
The whispering voice was incredibly soothing. A chuckle escaped his lips involuntarily. Cha Yiljoo’s lips brushed against his cheek again before pulling away. Then, his presence gradually faded, and soon he heard the sound of the door closing. His precarious consciousness drifted away.
After locking the door, he left the villa. He wanted to stay in bed with Euihyun longer, but he knew Euihyun would be hungry when he woke up. They were also running low on groceries, so he decided to go shopping and buy some fresh fruit.
Even though it was winter, the temperature didn’t drop drastically, but the mornings and evenings were quite chilly, around 7 degrees Celsius. Because he had been inside where it was warm, his body felt even colder.
He hurriedly got into the car and turned on the heater to dispel the chill. Then, he searched for nearby supermarkets on his phone. He found a suitable grocery store about 10 kilometers away. After finishing his search and just as he was about to start the car, he paused. He had spotted a message written on the window, fogged up from the heater.
I love you.
It was Euihyun’s handwriting. He must have written it sometime when the window was fogged up. The message, which had disappeared with the warmer weather, had reappeared thanks to the heater.
A wide smile spread across Cha Yiljoo’s face. Forgetting his errand, he leaned back deeply into his seat.
What should I do with someone so lovely?
After staring at the fogged-up window for a while, he got out of the car. He opened the door again and went back inside. Euihyun was still sound asleep in bed. He carelessly took off his coat and climbed onto the bed. As a sudden chill permeated the air, Euihyun shivered and groaned softly. Cha Yiljoo pulled him close, wrapping him in the blanket, and nuzzled his forehead against his neck.
“…Are you back already?”
Euihyun mumbled drowsily, half-awake. Cha Yiljoo pressed his lips against his ear and whispered,
“I didn’t want to leave you alone, Euihyun. Let’s go together later.”
Instead of replying, Euihyun simply nodded. Then, he turned slightly and snuggled closer to Cha Yiljoo. As Cha Yiljoo lightly bumped his forehead against his, Euihyun slowly opened his eyes. But only for a moment, unable to keep them open, he closed them again and smiled shyly. He mumbled sleepily, “Sleep a little more,” and pulled the blanket over Cha Yiljoo, tucking him in carefully.
“I love you, Euihyun.”
Euihyun only nodded in response. Cha Yiljoo gently urged, “And you?” Euihyun replied sleepily,
“…Me too.”
A wide smile spread across Cha Yiljoo’s face once more. He pulled Euihyun closer, holding him preciously in his arms, and closed his eyes.
At their feet, the ocean, reflecting the sun, shimmered brilliantly.
