Yeo-woon continued to feel under the weather for a few more days. Assistant Manager Kim teased him about being frail, and by Friday, Yeo-woon couldn’t stand it anymore and added 30,000 won to his hitman-for-hire savings account.

On Saturday morning, after getting an IV drip at the hospital, his condition improved significantly. He should have done that sooner. Yeo-woon grumbled all day, feeling resentful.

The problem was that he dozed off for a bit on Sunday, and when he woke up, it was well past the agreed time for the siege event.

When Yeo-woon opened his eyes, the sun had already set and it was pitch black outside the window. Yeo-woon immediately grabbed his phone with shaky hands and checked the guild chat. There were a few messages from a couple hours ago asking “Why isn’t neuta-nim here?”, but nothing after that. Surely they didn’t just make a new chat without him?

Today’s opponent was Seojeri, and despite being the #1 guild, there was quite a large point difference. Recalling the disastrous situation from last week, Yeo-woon was perplexed. Even with the new practice mode, how could they be so dominant? It seemed almost miraculous to him.

“I’ll have to get the video from Earth Star later.”

And next week, he’ll be sure to contribute to the guild. Yeo-woon vowed to himself.

While everyone’s contributions were evenly matched, it was Earth Star and CatMeowMeowMeow’s kill counts on the opposing team stood out the most.

“…Why are their kill counts so high?”

Unlike other guild members who focused on bringing down Seojeri’s fortress, these two seemed to have concentrated on killing the Seojeri guild members. The numbers on the report showed that the two of them combined had slaughtered over a hundred enemies. If Poseidon had lost, the guilt would have been overwhelming, but it was a relief they won.

Captain Poseidon: By the way, Neuta-nim, how are you feeling?

Other than briefly logging in for attendance in the morning and leaving the game on, he hadn’t told anyone he wasn’t feeling well. For a moment, he wondered if Captain Poseidon had superpowers.

That made sense. He had sent a quick message to Earth Star just in case, saying he was going to take a nap. When Earth Star spammed messages, wondering why he was napping in the middle of the day, Yeo-woon had told him to shut up because his headache from the cold was acting up, which had finally quieted him. Thankfully, it seemed Earth Star had informed the guild, so they didn’t wait for him to start the game. He appreciated that.

Just a few hours ago, he had been pestering him with strange emoticons, trying to keep him from sleeping, but now he was nowhere to be seen. Yeo-woon wondered if he was still playing the game after the siege ended.

Yeo-woon understood immediately. Earth Star never ignored a post with his name in it. It seemed he had some lingering resentment from not being able to fight in a past life, so he had to win any verbal arguments to satisfy himself.

And it was always Halloween Eggplant who found those posts and reported them to Earth Star. Unless he spent all day looking at the forums, Yeo-woon couldn’t understand how Halloween Eggplant found those posts so quickly. A Vice Guildmaster with nothing to do, and Earth Star, who was equally idle, made for a hopeless combination.

That being said, today’s Siege battle was a lot of fun regardless of the outcome. I’d also like to thank Guild Poseidon for making it such an interesting match. ^^

Unlike last week’s match against Melody, Poseidon’s game was very clean.

(Although our Seojeri guild ended up 3rd place to close out the Siege season, our guild’s only goal is to be ranked #1 on the server, so we don’t place much importance on the Siege battle.^^;;;) However, I do have a few pieces of advice for Poseidon ahead of next week’s match.

1. It seemed a couple of your members forgot the <Objective of the Siege Battle> ^^

Siege is content created with the goal of <taking down the other guild’s castle>

Deliberately binding and indiscriminately killing other users was not the intent of the game developers. (Not that the losing side has room to talk though. hehe)

2. The barrier skill casting of your KingSaber member is too slow.

If you cast it 0.5-1 second faster, you can minimize damage to your guildies. I recommend adding an attack speed option to your gear set.

3. Hmm?

Not sure if it’s hacking, but this user’s playstyle is quite unique, impressive really.

Looking at the post from Poseidon’s ‘Ji9star’ member, it seems all their gear has movement speed options added.
