After breaking up with Kim Jun-han at the hotel, Park Dong-sik went straight home. After showering and changing out of his clothes, his hole burned and looked to be swollen when he reached in to touch it. He rummaged through his drawers to apply ointment and cursed out loud.

“Moderation is the key to a long life, you pervert.”

Park Dong-sik cringed as he applied the ointment to the inside of his hole. Park Dong-sik felt his body heat up as he recalled the passionate affair they had just a few hours ago, and he quickly slapped his own cheek. You animal, get a grip on yourself.

After finishing washing up, he headed to the main house. As he entered the living room, he saw Madam Song arranging a bunch of flowers on the table and putting them in vases. She was humming and singing.

It was the first time Park Dong-sik saw her so happy, so it was fascinating. When their eyes met, Madam Song wiped the smile off her face as if to say, “Of course. People don’t change so easily.”

Park Dong-sik forced out a smile.

    “Mother. I’m home.”

“Why are you here? Where did you go this morning with the chauffeur? Did you go out?”

Park Dong-sik kept his mouth shut. How could he tell her that he had sex with Kim Jun-han in front of Kim Tae-han? On the other hand, he also wanted to see Madam Song faint after telling her the truth. Forcing down his mischievous thoughts, Park Dong-sik headed for the stairs.

“Why are you going up there?”

“I need to talk to Father about the divorce.”

Madam Song revealed her displeasure with a look. But who should be happy when her husband is flirting with their daughter-in-law?

Park Dong-sik quickly headed upstairs and entered Chairman Kim’s bedroom. Chairman Kim was sitting in an armchair, a blanket wrapped around her thighs, reading a book. She wore a thick magnifying glass since her eyes were bleary.

    “Huh? Mr. Hee-soo is here?”

Chairman Kim started to get up, but Park Dong-sik motioned for her to stay seated. He’d better hurry up and get Kim Yoon-ah back on track….To do that, they needed a shaman. He’d been hiding from Moon Ho-cheol, but with him gone, there was no reason to delay matters any longer.

As he pondered, Park Dong-sik noticed a vase of flowers off to the side. He walked over and touched the petals, and Chairman Kim smiled.

“Aren’t they pretty? Madam Song left them behind earlier.”

    “I saw it downstairs.”

“She also brought me this book because I was bored. It’s a book of poetry, and it’s very good. Would you like to read it, Hee-soo?”

“No, you seem to read a lot.”

By the way, it looked like Chairman Kim was wearing a sweater, which was also hand-knitted.

Park Dong-sik asked with a puzzled look on his face.

“Did Madam Song knit that sweater for you too?”

“Yeah. Madam Song is pretty, isn’t she? I didn’t realize it because I didn’t get to see her much, but she’s really sweet. She’s also good with her hands, and we have a lot in common.”

    “Really?”

“Before, I just thought she was scary…but when I’m actually up close, she’s like a little girl, and she’s actually quite beautiful.”

He agreed to some extent. Madam Song was venomous, but if you only looked at her face, she was actually a great beauty. And she took good care of herself, so she looked much younger than her age. The fact that both sons were handsome was largely thanks to Madam Song.

On the other hand, he felt a little sorry for her. If Chairman Kim had been a good person from the beginning, would Madam Song have become so obsessed with superstition and cranky?

“Don’t get too close. I’m jealous.”

“But I only have you, Hee-soo.”

    “I appreciate the kind words.”

Park Dong-sik laughed and sat down on the couch, then grabbed his lower back with a yelp. He could barely contain the stabbing pain. Chairman Kim jumped up from her chair in surprise.

    “Mr. Hee-soo!”

Chairman Kim limped over to Park Dong-sik with his leg in a cast. Park Dong-sik grunted, clutching his throbbing back.

“Fuck you, you son of a bitch.”

Chairman Kim’s eyes narrowed as he cursed. “Hee-soo. Your neck…!”

    “What…?”

She held out a small mirror, and when Park Dong-sik looked at it, the kiss marks were red and clearly visible. He frowned, and Chairman Kim did the same.

“Who did that? Mr. Kim Tae-han?”

    Park Dong-sik replied rather nonchalantly.

    “No, Kim Jun-han.”

    Chairman Kim’s face brightened slightly.

“Are things between the two of you getting better? Has he finally opened up to you?”

“I don’t know about the heart, but I opened up the hole. It’s now wide open.”

Suddenly, Chairman Kim put on Kim Yoon-ah’s signature look of annoyance, and Park Dong-sik burst out laughing. It was funny to see an old man making such a prim and proper expression. He pressed firmly on the sore spot and rubbed it from side to side, and Chairman Kim looked at him worriedly.

“Did you take the birth control pill?”

“I took it as soon as I got here.”

“Well, it has quite a few side effects, and I’d like you to use another method if possible.”

    “Something else?”

“I remember you used to use condoms, mostly. I’m just saying, I know that you’re weak, so you’re less likely to get pregnant, but you still need to be careful moving forward.”

“You know about all the weird stuff, don’t you?”

    “It’s my job.”

“Do you want me to strap you down now?”

    “Like what?”

“I’m talking about Kim Jun-han and Kim Tae-han’s dicks. You can do it in peace. The three of you can do it.”

Kim Yoon-ah froze like a still picture with her mouth hanging open. Park Dong-sik waved his hand in front of her and asked her, “You didn’t faint, did you?”

Chairman Kim shook her head as if to clear away her foggy mind.

“Not that it’s any of my business…But don’t you think it would be better if you settled down with one person? I’d be more than happy if you and Mr. Kim Tae-han was legally married.”

Park Dong-sik thought about it seriously. Kim Tae-han found out about everything, and the divorce was postponed for now. Not canceled, but put on hold. It wouldn’t hurt to have Kim Tae-han as an insurance policy, in case the kite fell off the string at any given moment. Besides, if Chairman Kim gives me the property directly, I won’t need both of them, will I?

    “Ms. Yoon-ah.”

    “Yes.”

“Come to think of it, you’re Chairman Kim now, aren’t you?”

    “That’s right…Although I didn’t ask for it.”

“That gives you a lot of power. Enough to control a company?”

    “Well…I guess so.”

“So you’re going to give me half your fortune, right?”

Chairman Kim opened his mouth as if her jaw would fall off.

    “Will that be difficult?”

“Mr. Hee-soo, the wealth…it’s not something you can just hand out like a loaf of bread…It’s very complicated, especially with the chaebols…And there’s no way the rest of the family will agree.”

    “Oh…”

“Do you need a lot of money?”

“Of course, I do.” He had lived his whole life without money, and since Kim Jun-han was thinking about remarrying, there was absolutely no guarantee that the pending period would be indefinite. But technically, if he took only what was in his bank account and the precious jewels in there, he would still be able to live a good life.

In the end, it was greed. Seeing it made him greedy, and being greedy made him want to steal it. Even knowing it wasn’t his.

“Forget it. I’ll end up like Moon Ho-cheol.”

He said this to himself, and Chairman Kim looked at him puzzled. Park Dong-sik waved his hand around, saying he was just joking around. Then he stood up, holding his waist. He didn’t want to stay and give Madam Song the wrong idea, but he also wanted to get some rest as well.

When Park Dong-sik came downstairs, he could see Kim Tae-han’s car in the distance. Park Dong-sik went to the detached house and hid himself. He went into his bedroom, locked the door, and waited like a dead rat. Usually, he would have come running and thrown a fit a hundred times over.

He was really pissed off. At the same time, he knew he should apologize. He grabbed his cell phone, debating whether or not to send a message, and walked out to find Kim Tae-han sitting on the living room couch with his arms crossed and his eyes closed.

    “Oh, shit!You scared me.”

He opened his eyes and looked up. Park Dong-sik swallowed hard. He put his cell phone in his pocket and scratched the bridge of his nose.

“Why are you standing there like a stray cat?”

Kim Tae-han remained silent, and Park Dong-sik took a seat across from him with a shrug of his shoulders.

“You…panicked earlier in the day, didn’t you?”

“Am I supposed to understand you when you describe that as panicking?”

    “…”

“I’m curious, what was it like?”

    “What…?”

“Did you like doing it with my brother?”

Park Dong-sik’s mouth dropped open. He had expected him to be angry, but the other man was calmer than he thought, which was even scarier.

“Tae-han, listen to me. I didn’t know it would happen like that. Of all the times to run into each other, it had to be there…”

“Answer me, was it better than me?”

Park Dong-sik hesitated for a long time.

“Can I be honest with you…?”

    “Yes.”

    “You won’t be angry?”

    “Yes.”

    “It wasn’t bad…”

    “…”

“Can I say more if it doesn’t hurt your feelings?”

    “Go ahead.”

“Actually, I like doing it with you, but I also like doing it with Kim Jun-han, and to be more honest, I want to do it with the three of us. Of course, you think I have a shitty conscience for saying this, I know, but what can I do when you’re both so fucking good. I’m sorry, Tae-han, I really hate myself. Why are you both so insanely good-looking that you’re tearing me apart.”

After getting it all out, Kim Tae-han’s face lost its relaxed state and turned fierce. Park Dong-sik stared blankly at him, embarrassed by what he had just said. He looked at the table to see if he was going to throw something, and when he did that, he saw a small box next to the remote control.

Kim Tae-han pushed it forward angrily.

    “Open it.”

    “What is it?”

“I was actually going to give you this earlier.”

    “…”

Park Dong-sik carefully opened the lid and found the card key inside. He unfolded the neatly folded paper and read the address. It was a luxury villa in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul, a neighborhood everyone had heard of.

    “What is this….?”

    “My house.”

    “Haha, is this a proposal?”

He laughed out loud, and Kim Tae-han came forward, got down on one knee, and took his hand. Park Dong-sik froze, and his expression became serious, no longer playful. The other man’s touch was full of affection.

“Even after what I did to you earlier, don’t you hate me?” Park Dong-sik’s innocence was beyond comprehension, and as if to prove it, Kim Tae-han smiled at him.

“Dump Kim Jun-han and live with me.”

    “Hey, that’s a little…”

Park Dong-sik laughed because he thought he was joking, but Kim Tae-han’s gaze became insistent.

“If what you want is wealth, I’ll give it to you.”

    “…”

    “So, choose me, Hee-soo.”
