Title: What’s this update about Tiger-nim on SpiritWiki?? Has everyone seen it??
Spiri-friends, I’m so excited. It’s winter, so no typhoons, and I’m literally bored to death. What do you call this feeling again? Humans say it’s dopamine? Yeah, that.
So actually… I’ve peeked at Tiger-nim a few times, hehe. To be honest, his energy is so good I kinda wanted to sneak a bite of it, hahaha.
From what I saw on the latest SpiritWiki update… did he maybe find someone he likes?? I’m so excited. But now my breath keeps coming out warm instead of cold from all the excitement and I’m messing up my wind control;;; Not gonna say what kind of wind I am ㅠㅠ sob
1-ging: Why are you being so obvious about being a wind spirit? You mentioned “cold wind,” so I can already guess what mountain breeze you’re from. If you’re a mountain breeze, you’ve got to be at least Spirit Power Level 1. If you’re a grown-up, act like it. And “sob”?? Really?
▷Original-ging: ? “Sob” is adulting, thank you very much.
2-ging: 1-ging, if they’re Spirit Level 1, they are still a baby wind, LOL. You’re sounding like some ancient breeze. I hope I don’t grow old and cringey like thatㅠㅠ
So Tiger-nim’s got a lover now?? Congrats~! Kyaaaa ㅠ0ㅠ
3-ging: Whoaaa ╹0╹
Has our idol Mountain Lord finally found someone?? Please please let them have a beautiful baby tiger!!! licks monitor chu-rup chu-berup
4-ging: Soft. Fluffy. White-furred. Blue-eyed. Male tiger. Please birth one. Then I’ll have no more wishes left.
5-ging: I just got a notification that something was posted—why was it deleted?? I didn’t get to see it properly… It disappeared so fast.
▶ Hello, it’s the admin-ging. A report was filed on SpiritWiki, so it was taken down right away.
6-ging: ??? What? What a shame…
“……”
Eun Beom-ho silently scrolled down on his phone, lips pressed into a firm line. Beneath the blinking screen, the homepage of ‘SpiritWiki’ was open.
His finger had stopped precisely on the content of a post titled: SpiritWiki”Romance of the Tiger Beastman.”SpiritWiki
SpiritWiki[This Week’s Best Post]SpiritWiki
SpiritWikiTarget/Species:SpiritWiki Tiger Beastman (Pureblood)
1) SpiritWikiOverviewSpiritWiki
: Apex predator and pureblood beastman. Third-gen chaebol. Most popular idol on SpiritWiki anonymous board.
2) SpiritWikiTriviaSpiritWiki
: Lately has been shifting into baby tiger form and sneaking into human towns. Rumor says he’s actually hanging around Aji Village where the half-beastmen live—but hush, it’s a secret; seems like Tiger-nim doesn’t know that part.
Currently dating “That Person” via convenience store rendezvous. Based on the rising pheromone levels, it seems Tiger-nim is working hard to get closer physically. A true romantic of this era, doing his best to win their love ⸝⸝ʚ̴̶̷̆ᴗʚ̴̶̷̆⸝⸝
…There was no denying who this was about.
“What… is this.”
SpiritWiki.
Beom-ho knew it well. A notoriously unregulated gossip site for spiritual beings, full of half-truths and misreported rumors—basically, a chaotic chatroom where young spirits chattered away. He’d never paid it much attention before… but now, his face was splashed across the main page.
And the views? Astronomical.
「Ah…」
Finding the culprit wasn’t hard. Only two spirits followed him around like lost puppies:
Seopung and Bukpung.
Bukpung had already been banned from SpiritWiki after picking a fight, so that left one likely suspect.
Seopung.
“Explain.”
Leaning back in his chair in the now-empty conference room, Beom-ho crossed his arms and stared at the empty air with quiet intensity.
“The SpiritWiki post. What was that.”
A heavy tension blanketed the quiet space. His flawless brow remained furrowed, his gaze sharp and unreadable.
“Do you understand what a privacy law is? That was invasive to the baby student.”
After quickly filing a deletion request, Beom-ho had called Seopung in for a one-on-one.
Usually, he’d brush off Seopung’s antics as cute, but this time was different. He was worried—worried that this might somehow affect ‘the baby student’.
Being on the receiving end of spirit-world gossip was not only annoying—it could be dangerous.
Young spirits like Seopung were typically innocent and pure. But that innocence sometimes made them blindly intrusive when curious.
Beom-ho didn’t want the kid getting dragged into the chaos of the spirit realm’s attention. That kind of spotlight was… exhausting.
「I-I didn’t mean it like that… really…」
Seopung’s voice trembled, trailing off. Beom-ho had half expected some bratty denial, but the little wind spirit folded instantly, already tucking his tail.
He sounded genuinely panicked.
“Don’t trail off. Speak clearly.”
「Hrk…」
Seopung whimpered and began to shrink in on himself, sniffling.
「Yes. I… didn’t ask for permission. Sniff… I’m sorry.」
“Haa… I figured as much. I submitted a deletion request this time, but if you pull something like this again, I won’t let it slide.”
Seopung’s body flushed red from trying to hold back his tears. The cold low-pressure air around him rapidly heated and clashed with a growing high-pressure system.
Boom. Rumble.
The once rosy-tinged breeze warmed, coiling into a gentle but rising swirl of fluffy, round clouds.
「Um… But, Tiger-nim.」
“What.”
「You know… your story is really popular.」
“…What?”
「So, um, would it be okay if I just, like… tweaked the post a little and uploaded it again?」
Unbelievable.
Eun Beom-ho’s expression hardened further.
「It’s just… it got super popular. L-like, I wrote that you two were kinda dating and stuff, and… it hit SpiritWiki’s weekly best in one day. I mean… being popular is a good thing, right…?」
Seopung’s voice kept getting smaller and more unsure by the second.
“Seopung.”
「……」
“You can’t just post stuff like that without asking the people involved. Maybe it’s fun and harmless to you guys, but that baby student is just a civilian. I don’t want this. And judging from how detailed it was… you went into their dream too, didn’t you?”
BOOM. FLASH.
The small, fluffy cloud spiraled into a pink cyclone, its edges crackling with sparks. As the air grew hotter, a miniature typhoon began forming.
It was a strange phenomenon to occur inside a conference room—and would’ve terrified anyone who saw it. Ghosts, demons—whatever you’d call it. But Eun Beom-ho didn’t blink, even as the little vortex swirled before him.
「Yes…」
A tiny voice squeaked in response.
“No matter how curious you are, you don’t dig up someone’s personal life like that. Got it?”
Eun Beom-ho sighed, rubbing his forehead.
「Sniff… Got it. I won’t do it again.」
Seopung, who looked like he was about to burst into tears, slowly stopped the flow of wind. Though Beom-ho hadn’t done anything threatening, the little spirit’s anxiety alone had made the cloud dampen and wilt. The scent of rain filled the room—soaked and heavy.
“Good. I’m glad you understand.”
「U-um… You won’t tell the Mountain Lord, right?」
“As long as you’re truly sorry, I won’t.”
If he said he would tell, the spirit might actually start bawling. Beom-ho kept his voice flat and firm.
He’d done what needed to be done. He didn’t want to scare Seopung any further, nor did he have any real intention of tattling to the Mountain Lord. He’d only warned him to prevent any more unnecessary attention being drawn to the baby student. There was no need to push the little spirit until he whipped into a full typhoon.
Beom-ho calmly brought it to a close. Now, it was time to send Seopung on his way.
「Sniff… Thank you so much.」
The rain-drenched cloud trembled as it sniffled, releasing a thick, humid air. Teardrop-shaped condensation began to bead on the windows. The moisture hung heavy, like the middle of a sauna. If the sniffling kept up, things would only get worse.
Beom-ho sighed and gave a small nod.
「But since you forgave me right away… I’ll tell you something special! It’s the place Baby Student said they want to go on a date!」
“…Date spot?”
Beom-ho had just started opening the window but paused, turning his head back.
BANG!
The door flung open with a deafening slam.
Standing outside was his secretary, Eun Sung-jun.
“Sung-jun.”
Beom-ho quickly shut the window again, then glanced up at the ceiling to check if any visible traces of the indoor storm remained. While Sung-jun was beastman too, he had no awareness of the spirit world. Better not to complicate things.
“Huh? Why is the conference room so humid?”
Thankfully, he seemed clueless. Sung-jun looked around in confusion. The worst had been avoided—the weeping baby spirit hadn’t turned into a violent gust—but the air still hung heavy with tear-stained humidity, clinging to the glass and walls.
“No idea. Anyway, what’s up?”
“Ah.”
As if remembering, Sung-jun grabbed the edge of his suit jacket and spoke seriously.
“You need to head to Samho Headquarters, sir.”
“Why?”
“There’s a discussion about your marriage proposal going on in the executive meeting.”
“…Marriage proposal?”
“Yes. Apparently, it’s one of the suggestions being floated to cover up the cheetah beastman incident. Something about ‘covering a shocking event with a bigger one.’”
“Really now?”
“Yes. Your mother said she couldn’t believe they were talking about it without you—and wants you there immediately.”
“My mother?”
Beom-ho blinked, about to ask how she found out what was being discussed in the meeting—only to realize the “source” was her. He hadn’t known she and Sung-jun were in that kind of communication loop.
“Yes. She said—and I quote—‘It’s not fun if the main character isn’t at the negotiation table.’”
Beom-ho could already picture her smile. As vice chair of a major conglomerate, she certainly understood the optics of power and politics.
He swept his tousled hair back and nodded.
“I see. Then let’s go.”
