The Holy Villain’s Guidebook
I’m the villain who will destroy the world?
One day, a survival game begins out of nowhere. A system window visible only to Haewon forces him to repent and pushes him to survive.
“Hubae-nim, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
“Do you have something to say to me?”
“Of course. Remember when I told you to join my guild last time?”
“I already told you I’m in a guild.”
“That messed-up excuse for a guild? You call that a guild?”
In the survival game, Haewon encounters Beom Ryeohan, the leader of Black Child, a guild notorious for its madness. Ryeohan keeps trying to recruit Haewon, but Haewon stands firm because he has someone to protect—his older brother.
“…You’re not still into me, are you?”
“Haewon.”
“My answer is the same as it was back then.”
However, the older brother Haewon had trusted and protected ends up betraying him and, for some reason, drives him out of the guild.
Abandoned and alone, Haewon is found by Beom Ryeohan, who once again proposes that Haewon join his guild.
“Haewon, do whatever you want. If bad things need to be done, Hyung will take care of them.”
Despite Haewon’s wounded heart and prickly demeanor, Ryeohan showers him with a suspiciously endless supply of kindness. How will their relationship evolve?

Gong: Beom Ryeohan
Haewon’s college senior and the founder of the Black Child Guild. He’s unpredictable, with a strong sense of individuality. Though he created the guild, he’s notorious for delegating leadership to others. Once he makes a decision, he bulldozes his way through with unmatched drive. Nicknamed “Mad Dog,” his casual and flippant manner often catches people off guard. Those who know him well never underestimate him because of his exceptional abilities.
He’s had an eye on Haewon since their college days. After reuniting on Seonak Island, he’s tirelessly trying to recruit Haewon into his guild, all while constantly flirting with him.
Shou: Seo Haewon
Ever since he turned 17, a mysterious system window that only he could see appeared in his vision, forcing him to live an exemplary life against his will. After his parents’ death, he has considered his half-brother, Seo Gangyeol, his only family and has devoted himself to him.
With a cold and detached exterior, Haewon is decisive and courageous when the situation calls for it. However, he has a soft spot when it comes to Seo Gangyeol or anything young and weak, which reveals his surprisingly sensitive and easily hurt nature. This is why he once ran away from Ryeohan during their college days. After reuniting, Haewon tries to keep his distance from Ryeohan, who approaches him as if nothing ever happened, but he frequently finds himself caught up in Ryeohan’s wild antics.
When to Read This: When you want to read a story of mutual salvation in a modern fantasy survival setting, featuring a notorious madman Gong and a Shou with hidden powers. Especially if you’re in the mood for a playful older top who persistently flirts with a bottom that has armored himself in abrasiveness to hide his scarred heart.
