TG Ch 1 Part 14

A full-body examination required extensive preparation. While Sijin made arrangements for the examination, Ham Geonwu changed clothes separately in the changing room.

“Esper Ham Geonwu…”

“Yes.”

Meanwhile, Sijin couldn’t hide his shock as he examined the tablet.

“How did you… find this?”

“I’m not sure. I just searched it on a bookstore app and downloaded whatever came up.” 

Ham Geonwu finished unbuckling his belt and emerged from the changing area. When Sijin looked up, he quickly diverted his gaze to avoid any embarrassment. Ham Geonwu was only wearing black military pants. For a full-body examination, removing one’s top was mandatory, and no metal could be worn during the process. Consequently, he had taken out his piercings beforehand.

As his muscular frame approached him, Sijin felt his face suddenly grow warm. He felt ashamed of himself for being so unprofessional.

Sijin tried to act nonchalant as he raised his head. Right away, he was confronted with his thick pectoral muscles. He blinked rapidly for a moment before gathering himself and picking up the tablet.

“Hmm, this book starts… right from that part.”

He attempted to find a less explicit section but couldn’t locate one.

“Hoo… Doctor. You’re not breaking your promise, right?”

“O-Of course not. Get ready for the examination.”

However, Ham Geonwu seemed oblivious to any issue, appearing quite confident. In truth, he seemed too nervous to pay attention.

In response, Sijin’s hands moved faster. He could sense how anxious Ham Geonwoo truly felt. Although the examination was safe, he understood why Ham Geonwu might be resistant despite reassurances.

Fear was something learned. No matter how safe this measurement was known to be, the anticipation of what painful results might follow caused tension and fear. It was akin to how a child with strict parents trembles and cries upon receiving their report card.

Sijin decided to proceed as calmly as possible for his sake.

“You’ll need to take off your necklace too.”

“Please undo it.” Ham Geonwu stared straight ahead, perhaps due to nervousness.

Sijin’s hands shook slightly following Ham Geonwu’s unease as he undid the clasp on his necklace. Ham Geonwu’s well-toned muscles rippled with each deep breath he took. Feeling like he was handling a wild horse that could bolt at any moment, Sijin’s fingers fumbled several times.

‘A platinum necklace?’

The silver chain held both Ham Geonwu’s dog tags and a rare platinum necklace. Was it given to him by the country? The platinum piece, about the size of a thumbnail, featured an engraving of a bird with the national flag. Platinum was a precious metal that monsters avoided, so countries often awarded it as recognition for achievements.

Sijin placed the necklace aside before speaking softly. “I’ll take things slowly. Is that okay?”

“Yes.” With that response, Ham Geonwu stepped onto the circular platform on his own volition.

Sijin first took his temperature and then had him grip the silver bars located at either side of the podium. The full-body examination measured the wave rate of vibrations throughout an Ability User’s body. As an A-Rank Ability User capable of handling massive waves, this process would likely take some time.

Ham Geonwu fell silent as he took deep breaths while staring at the ceiling. Sijin sensed his nervousness and tried his best to put him at ease by engaging with him professionally.

“I’m going to wrap these pads around your arms now. Did you sleep well last night?”

“Not really.”

“You must be anxious about coming here for this examination.”

“Hooo… I don’t know. Maybe?”

“But you still showed up as promised, which is commendable.”

“……?” 

Ham Geonwu’s tense expression softened slightly during their calm conversation.

Sijin then displayed round patches connected to wires and gently explained while attaching one to his own arm as a demonstration.

“When the examination begins, there might be slight tingling sensations from the electrical current passing through your skin. If it becomes too hot or unbearable at any point, please let me know immediately, and we’ll pause the examination.”

“…Doctor.”

“Yes, would you like to grip this support again? Yes, just like that. You’re doing great.”

“Where did you work before by any chance?”

“Me? At the Youth Ability Users Research Institute.”

“……”

Ham Geonwu briefly looked up and then let out a bitter laugh.

“I’m twenty-eight years old, though.”

“Indeed, and you’re handling the examination well, too. Looks like you’ve grown strong.”

“……”

While providing empathetic responses, Sijin busily adjusted settings on his dashboard before returning to him. Ham Geonwu seemed slightly less tense but still appeared somewhat disheartened. Relieved by this progress, Sijin continued engaging in calm conversation as he prepared for the examination.

“What do you plan to do after today’s examination is over? Maybe treat yourself with something nice?”

“I’ll be drinking until 5 AM.”

“W-Well, it does show how mature our Geonwu has become at twenty-eight.”

The unexpected response caused Sijin’s automatic reflexes to falter momentarily. For the first time, Ham Geonwu chuckled softly, and Sijin joined him with a smile. To him, hearing Ham Geonwu laugh comfortably during his examination was his own reward.

As he watched Sijin busily working below him, Ham Geonwu held back another chuckle as he muttered to himself:

“I bet our teacher will be more surprised during the examination.”

“What?”

“It’s nothing.”

Now it was Sijin who felt overwhelmed. He had two tablets in hand, monitoring six different screens throughout the test. Additionally, he needed to maintain control of any situation involving an A-Rank Ability User should an emergency arise. This made the full-body examination particularly stressful for examiners.

“I’m starting the examination now. It’ll take about fifteen to twenty minutes.”

“Alright.”

“You must not respond during this test, Esper Ham Geonwu.”

“……” 

Ham Geonwu nodded with his lips tightly sealed. He seemed quite nervous, and as if he could feel a tingling sensation on his skin, his bulging biceps occasionally twitched. Feeling sorry for him, Sijin mustered up his courage and read aloud from one of the screens.

“Title: ‘Capturing the Omega Teacher’… Why call the teacher ‘Omega’?”

“Keup…” 

Despite being tense, Ham Geonwu couldn’t help but chuckle briefly, seemingly realizing that there was nothing to fear here. Blushing all the way to his ears, Sijin hastily admonished him:

“You shouldn’t laugh during the examination.”

Seeing this, Ham Geonwu pursed his lips tightly like a clam and nodded, trying hard not to laugh. He even took a deep breath as if suppressing a giggle. 

Sijin stammered again while reading the unfamiliar text arrangement:

“’Teacher, are you alway this good at licking? No response came. Teacher was already out of his mind. He just hurriedly licked my member with his small, warm tongue, like candy.’…”

After reading that far, Sijin lowered the tablet, his eyes wide with shock, resembling a professor stunned by an erotic assignment submission. Holding onto the silver bar tightly, Ham Geonwu tried his best not to burst out laughing, closing his eyes as if enduring immense torture.

Taking a deep breath, Sijin mustered up courage and continued reading from the tablet.

“As I grew older and taller, I realized how fragile you truly were. Omegas really are pathetic creatures, aren’t they? If I consistently stimula—ah, stimulate your heat… ah… your heat at just the right moment, you forget yourself and cling to me…’ Wait, did he force himself on his teacher? How unethical!”

At Ham Geonwu’s sigh, Sijin quietly glanced up from his tablet. Ham Geonwu then pointed at the patches attached to his body before looking back at Sijin, as if indicating he could remove them and leave anytime. Feeling anxious about the progress of the examination, Sijin hastily checked the monitor screen before continuing with a trembling voice.

“‘Teacher, do you remember our nights together? One day, I felt torn between two emotions. It angered me that despite sharing such delightful moments, you would forget everything upon waking.’”

Despite encountering unfamiliar terms, Sijin could read calmly as long as they didn’t hinder his understanding. In fact, he was also busy monitoring the constantly changing values on the screen. Ham Geonwu seemed to have forgotten his nervousness and joyfully watched Sijin’s skilled movements. After checking the chart, Sijin continued reading:

“’The decision was easy. Whenever you lost consciousness and your body kept demanding attention, I gently tended to it. Working until your entire body felt like melting, I held you close while you slept soundly. Then, pressing teacher’s wet skin intimately against my own, I waited patiently for you to wake up…’”

Sijin swiftly checked the chart between reading passages. The erotic content spurred him to finish the examination quickly. It might have been the effect Ham Geonwu had aimed for.

Fortunately, the examination was almost complete without any issues. Relieved, Sijin read out the final paragraph:

“‘Soon, as if coming back to his senses, Teacher softly opened his eyes. He looked down at our heated connection and with a tremble, tearfully exclaimed, Ah, aht… No, please stop it. Teacher is a married man…’ Married man?!!”

Sijin’s voice cracked as he uttered an unexpected ending. Ham Geonwu burst out laughing so hard that he fell over. Sijin hastily checked the examination progress. Thankfully, it had reached 97%, meaning all Ham Geonwu needed to do now was stand still for the reevaluation phase. There would be no need for remeasurement.

The examination finally finished. With a weary expression, Sijin put down the tablet. Ham Geonwu continued roaring with laughter.

“Haha, ah, this is hilarious! Ha… I can’t stop laughing.”

“Haa… Please stop laughing… The measurement is complete. Well done.”

Sijin briefly removed his glasses and wiped the corners of his eyes with his sleeve. This was the first time he’d ever felt drained after conducting just one examination.

As Sijin’s face turned red all the way to his neck, Ham Geonwu couldn’t help but chuckle repeatedly. Despite his flushed cheeks, Sijin continued speaking while removing the intricate patches from Ham Geonwu. By the time he managed to stifle his laughter, all the patches had been detached.

“S-Stop laughing…” Sijin said, still flustered.

Ham Geonwu finally calmed down when every patch was removed.

“Ha, this is my first time laughing so much during an examination.”

“This is my first time feeling so flustered… Come here. Let’s review the results first.”

Embarrassed, Sijin focused on his work to regain his composure.
