The strength in Jiyeon’s hands, which were pushing Park away, began to weaken. Taking that chance, Park’s mouth stretched open wide as he lunged at Jiyeon’s face.

“Kyaaaah!”

Thinking this was the end, Jiyeon reflexively squeezed his eyes shut. It was the moment Park’s teeth were about to tear into his face.

Thud!

A heavy, dull explosion burst against Jiyeon’s ear. At the same time, something hot splattered across his face, and he felt Park’s body, which had been pinning him down, topple off to the side.

“Haak. Hak. Hak.”

Dizzy and breathless, Jiyeon cautiously opened his tightly closed eyes to check in front of him. And immediately, he let out a scream.

Yoon Suhyeong (Top): Team leader of the Sales Department at Haseong Media Company. A versatile sportsman known for being kind and warm to everyone, though he carries a dark past beneath the surface.

Hong Jiyeon (Bottom): Assistant manager of the Planning Department at Haseong Media Company. A chronic-fatigue-ridden, ordinary office worker. While working overtime, he ends up killing his mutated boss.
