Day 168 since the incident.

As always, I heard the sound of someone collapsing beside me today, and once again, I met my death at the hands of mutant zombies.

But I came back to life.

“…Why?”

Clinging to a sliver of hope, I even threw myself into a den of zombies, but it was all pointless.

The suspicion that this might be a dream was quickly erased by the scars left all over my body.

Eventually, I had no choice but to accept it.

Ah… I can’t die.

As I struggled to come to terms with this unbelievable reality, a guy I met by chance looked at me with deep emotion and said:

“It feels too real…”

Even though they said to make it feel realistic, how am I supposed to respond to this guy spouting nonsense about going home to relax once it’s over?

Does he actually think this is a dream?

Or has he gone mad from sheer terror?

Every time we moved to a new location, he looked down at a crisp white A4 sheet—God knows where he found it, and confidently told me this place was safe.

The growing sense of unease over time, the increasingly frequent moments where it felt like the world stopped, and my actions were being controlled, all of it forced me to question the reality I was living in.
