Palace Motel
Heeseong, a timid and pathetic recessive omega.
One day, he gets dragged off and beaten by gangsters because of his older brother, a gambling addict.
The gangsters threaten him: if he wants to save his brother, he has to kill a certain dominant alpha.
They dump Heeseong in a rural town with no further instructions.
Clueless about who he’s supposed to kill and lost in an unfamiliar, eerie place, Heeseong ends up wandering until he stumbles upon a run-down motel and meets its owner, Daesik.
Trying to get a grip on both his heat cycle and the gangsters’ threats, Heeseong begs Daesik to hire him as a motel worker.
Daesik assumes Heeseong is just trying to seduce him with some clumsy act, and scoffs at the attempt.
But Heeseong, who had no hidden agenda whatsoever, is horrified when he finds out…
‘Daesik is the very “dominant alpha” he’s supposed to kill…’
Excerpt
“…I’m sorry…”
“If you’re sorry, you shouldn’t have done it.”
Tears slipped from Heeseong’s soft brown eyes, falling in quiet drops.
Crying like that, Heeseong looked like a helpless, pitiful little animal.
Just the sight of his teary, damp eyes made Daesik’s throat go dry. With an obsessive gaze, he stroked Heeseong’s face as if licking it with his eyes.
“So, what now? You gonna pay with your body?”
