Boredom Alert
— So, he was a jaded, worn-out man.
Lee Wonwoo, a low-ranking employee at the high-end members-only club, Zeus. Wonwoo, a young head of the household who can’t even buy himself warm winter clothes because he’s supporting his two younger siblings, one day ends up being the designated driver for VIP customer Kwon Taeshin, who has come to Club Zeus.
Kwon Taeshin, the man whom the countless people gathered at Club Zeus yearn for a one-night stand with, to be so-called ‘chosen.’ But he was famous for only buying a night with money and not maintaining a relationship with anyone for long.
Wonwoo, who is easygoing and sincere by nature, thinks it’s strange that Taeshin, who is young, handsome, and rich, buys people with money every time. Even so, when a drunk Taeshin whimsically proposes to buy his night, Wonwoo finds himself wavering.
“Have you ever slept with a man?”
Wonwoo is tempted by a curiosity-laced goodwill toward Taeshin and the price for one night, which is a large sum of money to him. He impulsively accepts his offer. However, after spending a night of only pain, he regrets his wrong choice and starts avoiding Kwon Taeshin when he visits the club.
“I’ve been thinking about it.”
“It seems I want to do it with you one more time.”
Despite this, for some reason, Taeshin begins to obsess over meeting Wonwoo……

Gong (Top): Kwon Taeshin. A wealthy idler, rumored to be the illegitimate son of a chaebol. He never forms deep relationships and appears uninterested in anyone, but in reality, he suffers from a deep distrust of people due to childhood trauma. After a seemingly ordinary young club parking attendant coincidentally catches his eye, he finds himself unable to think of anything else.
Su (Bottom): Lee Wonwoo. A young head of household who couldn’t even finish his studies and started working to support his younger siblings due to his unfortunate family circumstances. Despite enduring all sorts of hardships, his pure and sincere nature remains unchanged. At first, he is bewildered by Taeshin’s obsession with someone as ordinary as himself, but he gradually comes to understand and embrace Taeshin’s inner voids.
Read this when: You want to see a warm and slightly chilling (?) romance that looks like a “prince and the pauper” story (Harlequin), but is actually a tale of mutual salvation.
Sympathetic Quote: “Don’t you want to try believing that I love you?”
