“What? You’re all wet. Why didn’t you get an umbrella?”

Nam-woon approached him, holding a folded towel but he stopped in his tracks, gasping for breath. It was because he felt a thick wave of pheromones. The pheromones felt unstable, like waves that would rise and crash down.

    “…….”

Nam-woon subtly lowered his gaze. Fortunately, he was calm. He was worried about getting aroused even in this situation. He felt pathetic for acting like a beast, so he lowered his head even further. Seo-oh stared at Nam-woon with dark eyes.

“Hurry to the bathroom. I’ll leave some clothes at the door, so change.”

There was no response. Nam-woon wondered if he had heard him, but Seo-oh quietly took off his shoes and stepped into the room. Soon after, the bathroom door slammed shut.

Nam-woon stared blankly at the closed door and let out a small sigh. Seo-oh didn’t even greet him, nor did he respond. He seemed cold, as if he would readily nod at his words in agreement that he was leaving the house.

“Maybe this turned out for the best.”

Nam-woon muttered as he wiped the wet marks from the floor.

After a while, Seo-oh came out of the bathroom. Nam-woon got up from his seat hesitantly and looked at him. However, upon closer inspection, he saw a red spot on one side of Seo-oh’s cheek and the back of his neck. Nam-woon asked in surprise.

“Why is your cheek like that?! Did you get hurt?”

    “…….”

But Seo-oh didn’t answer the question and headed to the refrigerator. He took out a bottle of water, opened the cap, and gulped down the water. Nam-woon raised one eyebrow. The atmosphere and behavior were definitely different than usual. He was the one who would usually nag if you drank from the bottle instead of using a cup.

Are you really thirsty? Nam-woon decided to give up on getting an answer and pretended to be nonchalant as he spoke again.

“Seo-oh, I have something to say.”

At that moment, Seo-oh, who had been half-listening, quickly finished a whole bottle of water and roughly threw the empty bottle toward the trash can. Bang! The water bottle hit the trash can with a loud noise. Nam-woon’s body jumped up.

He seemed a little angry, but was it just his imagination? He hesitated, wondering if he should speak again, but for the first time since he came home, Seo-oh spoke to Nam-woon.

    “Did you make kimbap?”

Was he not listening when I said I had something to say? Nam-woon tilted his head and answered.

“Oh, I made it for Se-han’s breakfast. I told him to take it with him when he goes to taekwondo.”

“But the kimbap is all torn apart.”

There was a rattling sound as Seo-oh fiddled with the container where he had put the leftover kimbap.

“…I’m usually good at cutting, but it’s because of the knife. Se-han said it was delicious and ate a lot. That’s yours, so eat it later when you’re hungry.”

Seo-oh paused for a moment and glanced into a corner of the room. Nam-woon followed his gaze. There was a pile of laundry on one side and a black duffel bag lying next to it. Seo-oh, who was glaring at the duffel bag, took a step forward and crouched down in front of the bag. Then, without asking Nam-woon’s permission, he immediately unzipped the bag.

“What the h*ll, give it to me.”

Nam-woon grabbed the bag’s strap in a panic and pulled, but Seo-oh didn’t easily give up the bag. He rummaged through the things Nam-woon had placed inside and then stopped when he spotted something. What he took out was a blue hat.

Seo-oh asked in a low tone,

    “Where did you go today?”

“I dropped Se-han off at the taekwondo and then went to the office for a bit.”

    “…The office.”

Seo-oh remained silent for a long time after that. Nam-woon felt uneasy at the sight, snatched the hat from Seo-oh’s hand, and slung the bag over his shoulder. He went straight to the shoe rack and put on his sneakers. He didn’t know why, but Seo-oh seemed to be in a bad mood today. Nam-woon planned to say what he needed to and leave quickly. He felt that if he lingered here too long, he might never be able to leave.

Nam-woon avoided the pitch-black eyes that were staring at him and said the words he had practiced all day.

“I’m going to leave this house now.”

There was no response. As expected. Kwon Seo-oh seemed indifferent to his departure. Nam-woon thought that was actually a good thing and continued speaking while keeping his eyes glued to the floor.

“To be honest, you must have had a lot of uncomfortable moments living with me. Also, I bullied you a lot when you were younger. I kept following you around and bothered you at school…Anyway, I’m going to stop doing that now.”

Seo-oh, who had been quietly listening, walked slowly. After a few steps, they were right in front of each other. Nam-woon took a step back as the distance became closer in an instant. At that moment, he met his eyes for the first time since he had mentioned he was leaving, but his gaze was strange. Seo-oh’s eyes were strangely glistening as he asked in a low tone.

    “What did you just say?”

“I’ve decided to stop following you.”

It was strange. Nam-woon thought Seo-oh would immediately agree but why is he acting like this? The expression on his face.… Nam-woon’s face hardened at the unexpected reaction. His heart pounded faster and faster as he continued to feel anxious and nervous.

“You didn’t really want to be with me either. Just live your life without worrying about me. I’m sorry for bothering you all this time.”

If, by chance, Kwon Seo-oh did feel sad that he was leaving, it was still best to keep as far away as possible from Kwon Seo-oh and Kwon Se-han considering what would happen in the future. This was a non-negotiable issue. While Nam-woon continued to say things he didn’t like, Kwon Seo-oh just stared at him with a blank expression. Then slowly, he opened his mouth.

“Hyung, why are you running away?”

    “…Running away?”

Nam-woon reached for the doorknob behind him. But Kwon Seo-oh’s long, thick hand suddenly grasped Nam-woon’s hand on the doorknob, and with a click, the door was locked. Only then did he realize something was wrong.

Kwon Seo-oh leaned in close to his ear and whispered slowly.

“Hyung, I know everything. I know that you’re horny for me. You’re excited right now, aren’t you?”

“W-What are you talking about? No!”

Nam-woon quickly denied it, but it seemed like Seo-oh didn’t believe his words. No, to be precise, it didn’t seem he was listening to anything at all. His eyes weren’t normal.

    “You always say no….”

A hot hand gripped Nam-woon’s arm tightly. The immense strength made his arm numb. Nam-woon looked at the unfamiliar Seo-oh with trembling eyes. His piercing eyes felt as if he could devour someone whole, sending a chill through his spine. A cold voice flowed out through his tightly clenched teeth as if he were holding something back.

“Today, you have to admit it.”

    [!Emergency Alert!]

    [!Pheromone levels exceeded!]

    [!Heat is occurring!]

In that moment, intense pheromones enveloped Nam-woon. The strong and intoxicating scent filled his nostrils, making him dizzy. At the same time, heat surged from within his body. Nam-woon bent over, wrapping his arms around his stomach.

    What’s heat? Ugh!

The pheromones poured out like an explosion, causing his legs to go weak.

    “Wait… just a second…”

Unable to control his body, he staggered and eventually collapsed in front of the shoe rack. Seo-oh, who was hugging Nam-woon from behind, dragged him into the room, pressed his lips to his cheek, and whispered.

“Hyung, I got fired from my part-time job today.”

Seo-oh gently removed Nam-woon’s shoes. His shoes were carelessly tossed onto the floor.

“I got into a fight with a customer. Do you know what that bastard said to me?”

One by one, the buttons on Nam-woon’s shirt came undone. The cool temperature that brushed past his chest gave him goosebumps. Nam-woon shook his head and grabbed Seo-oh’s hand. The slighted touch made the scent of flowers that had been lingering around him grow even stronger. His breathing became increasingly rapid. Seo-oh took Nam-woon’s hand and interlocked their fingers. Then he lifted Nam-woon’s chin to meet his gaze. The gaze his eyes made his normally dark iris appear even darker.

Seo-oh gently pressed his lips against the trembling corners of Nam-woon’s eyes and finished unbuttoning his shirt.

“That bastard said I’m a leech sucking the life out of you, Hyung.”

Even when he was feverish and out of his mind, Seo-oh’s words pierced his ears. Nam-woon gasped for breath. Nam-woon thought about who the culprit could be.

Which bastard would say something like that to Seo-oh? Could it be Jin Hae-geon…?

“What are you doing? Stop… ugh.”

Seo-oh hugged Nam-woon tightly against his chest. With a clear difference in strength, Nam-woon found himself unable to move as Seo-oh pulled down his pants to his knees.

“Crazy, what the h*ll are you doing…”

“Do you think so too, Hyung?”

Seo-oh whispered, rubbing his face against Nam-woon’s panting cheek.

“Do you think I’m just a leech clinging to you? Is that why you’re abandoning me?”

At first glance, his voice sounded calm, but it also seemed pitiful and filled with boiling anger. Nam-woon swallowed once to gather his scattered thoughts and finally managed to speak.

    “Where… did you hear that bullshit, hah… that’s not…”

Seo-oh lifted his hand and gently brushed Nam-woon’s disheveled bangs aside.

“Then why are you leaving me? Or did you find someone else? It can’t be that bastard Jin Hae-geon, right?”

    “Ah, haah…No… ugh!”

Seo-oh lowered his face close to Nam-woon’s face and rolled one of his peach-colored nipples with his fingernails. Nam-woon twisted his body and rubbed his forehead against the nape of Seo-oh’s neck. His damp black hair, which hadn’t yet completely dried, tickled Nam-woon’s cheeks and neckline.

“I don’t believe what you say anymore. You’ve lied too many times.”

“Ah, ahh…! My body is… ugh, why is this…?”

“I knew you were that kind of person from the beginning. Even though I know everything, you were still so affectionate towards me.

The pheromones, which Nam-woon thought couldn’t get any thicker, filled the room and wrapped around his entire body. His own sweet scent also became thicker as the strong pheromones surged from the tips of his toes to the top of his head. An unbearable heat surged inside his body.

Nam-woon curled up, trembling uncontrollably. He could no longer hear Seo-oh’s softly murmured words talking to himself. He was too lost to comprehend anything.

“I don’t understand what you’re thinking. You said you liked me. So how could you think about leaving me? Is it because I’m a person with nothing?”

“Hah, haah. Kwon Seo-oh, let go of me…!”

“You were the one who said you liked me first. Take responsibility for those words.”

Seo-oh held Nam-woon in his arms and kissed his straight forehead. Perhaps realizing something too late, the body trapped in his arms suddenly stopped moving. Smooch, smooch. The sound of wet kisses echoed again, and the hands that had been gripping Nam-woon’s waist slid down to his chest and thighs. Seo-oh gazed at Nam-woon’s face, now stained with a mix of fear and excitement. Then, a chillingly low voice spilled out.

    “Prove that you like me.”

[Rut Triggered! You’ve triggered Kwon Seo-oh’s rut. +1 reward added!]

As he was helplessly swept away by the waves of pheromones, Nam-woon fell into despair.
