VDN Ch 197
by STARSeo-oh hugged Nam-woon tightly and gave soft, soft bird kisses near his ear.
“Can I do it?”
There was no subject. However, Nam-woon immediately understood what Seo-oh was asking. Nam-woon casually shook his head.
“That fucking hurts…”
“This time, I won’t make it hurt. Okay?”
Seo-oh whispered, covering Nam-woon’s lips. Nam-woon looked up at Seo-oh. His pitch-black eyes were looking only at him. Is he anxious even though we’re close together like this? It was annoying how he didn’t want to leave my side every time, but he was cute and pitiful because he was so jealous.
Nam-woon quietly opened his mouth.
“If it hurts this time too, I’m going to kill you…”
“Okay.”
Seo-oh rubbed his large body against Nam-woon’s as if apologizing for his previous mistakes. Nam-woon slightly nodded. Then intense movements started again.
“Ah, ah, ah!”
“Ha, ugh….”
Seo-oh, who had been thrusting into Nam-woon’s body, suddenly hugged him tightly. He could feel his p*nis gradually swelling inside. Seo-oh, who noticed Nam-woon’s body was tense, diligently stroked and soothed his entire body.
It wasn’t as hasty a movement as before. Seo-oh’s movements were slow but steady and soon Nam-woon’s insides were completely filled.
“Ha, haa… uh.”
Nam-woon gasped and held onto Seo-oh’s body. It wasn’t as scary or difficult as he had felt before. He could smell Seo-oh’s pheromones filling the room. It was a warmer scent than ever, as if comforting Nam-woon. Seo-oh kissed Nam-woon’s cheeks, nose, and lips repeatedly while making eye contact.
“You’re only going to like me, right?”
Nod. When Nam-woon slightly nodded, Seo-oh asked again.
“Forever? You’ll love only me forever?”
Even amidst the pain, Nam-woon smiled faintly and answered, “Yeah.” Seo-oh hugged Nam-woon tightly.
“I’ll only love you too.”
Forever. The sweet confession scattered around his ear. The night of the coldest day this winter passed by so warmly.
***
From that day on, the two of them took advantage of their free time after work to have a proper conversation of body and mind. As if relieving their previous dissatisfaction, they would cling to each other whenever they made eye contact, biting and s*cking each other. As a result, they ended up talking more often than before. In fact, Nam-woon wanted to fall asleep right away after the act because he was exhausted, but he nodded his head with half-closed eyes because he liked hearing Seo-oh’s soft voice.
Communication was important even for a couple who had promised marriage. Thanks to that, the lingering resentments between them gradually disappeared. But unexpectedly, another problem arose.
“Ugh!”
“Are you okay, Hyung?”
Seo-oh came running to Nam-woon, who was holding onto the toilet and vomiting loudly. When he patted Nam-woon’s back with his large palm, Nam-woon flinched his shoulders as if in pain. Seo-oh apologized and helped Nam-woon up as he tried to get up. Then, with a worried look on his face, he picked up the toothbrush cup on the sink and asked Nam-woon various questions as he rinsed his mouth.
“What did you eat today?”
“I don’t know… I didn’t eat much.”
Nam-woon mumbled with a haggard face. For the past few days, Nam-woon had been feeling incredibly nauseous and couldn’t even bring himself to eat properly. Even the smell of the taiyaki batter made him sick, so he had been forced to close the shop for the second day in a row.
Seo-oh looked sadly at Nam-woon’s gaunt face and hurriedly grabbed his wallet.
“Let’s go to the hospital. Now.”
“Ugh…. No, just buy me some medicine.”
“Okay, I’ll go buy medicine, and if you still feel unwell after taking it, we’ll go to the hospital right away.”
Nam-woon nodded like a zombie. Then he let out a long breath and followed Seo-oh, who was heading for the front door.
“I should get some fresh air too. I have to meet Se-han anyway.”
“Just stay home.”
Seo-oh reluctantly supported Nam-woon and took him to the front of the Namnam Supermarket’s outdoor bench. As he sat on the bench, watching Seo-oh hurry away, he heard small footsteps.
“Hyung!”
“Se-han.”
Nam-woon tried to compose his face and greeted Se-han. Se-han was holding puffed rice snacks.
“Dad said to eat this with you, Hyung. Just eat a little because we’re going to have dinner later.”
“Okay. Thank you.”
Crunch, crunch. Nam-woon chewed the puffed rice snack in his hand. Thankfully, his stomach felt okay. The puffed rice snack was placed right on his dazed face, which was drained of energy.
“Hmm… I should eat a little more of the left side.”
Se-han bit into the left side of the round puffed rice snack, but due to his missing front teeth, he couldn’t bite it properly. Raising his eyebrows in frustration, he eventually broke off pieces with his small hands and ate them. At the same time, he busily worked with his hands and mouth, crafting a puffed rice snack mask that perfectly fit Nam-woon’s face, all while chattering away nonstop
“And so, on the first day of fourth grade, I’m going to carry the bag Hae-geon gave me for the first time.”
“I see.”
In the end, the bag went into Se-han’s hands without being returned to Hae-geon. this was because the manager said that he would never accept it and that if he did, he would be fired.
Nam-woon rubbed his eyes, occasionally responding to Se-han’s chatter. Why am I so tired lately? he wondered. Have I been too focused on the nightly activities with Seo-oh these past few days? Is that why I’ve been feeling sleepy all the time? He decided he’d just eat dinner and go to bed early tonight.
Tonight’s plan was to make hot pot with Kwon Sang-moon and Se-han. As I considered whether there were any more ingredients I needed to buy, Se-han, who had been chattering nonstop, suddenly paused as if he’d remembered something. Then, he raised his voice and exclaimed, “Ah!”
“Hyung, you know what? I had a dream yesterday.”
“A dream? What kind of dream?”
“There was a little gray tiger, and it jumped right at me, so I hugged it like this!”
Se-han made a gesture of holding something in his arms. His excited voice continued,
“And the tiger and I went on an adventure together, and the tiger protected me! When monsters appeared, it attacked them with its front paws, and all the monsters disappeared. It was a really strong tiger! Even though it was very, very small.”
“Really? Wow.”
Nam-woon tried hard to keep his drooping eyelids open and reacted enthusiastically. Despite his half-hearted response, Se-han’s story continued.
“The baby tiger liked me sooooo much, so I kept carrying it around like this.”
“Oh my. Could that be a conception dream[1]?”
Se-han and Nam-woon’s faces turned at the same time at the words they heard from behind. Soon-i, who had opened the store door and come out, walked towards them holding a bag of rice cakes. Soon-i, who had placed a styrofoam plate on the table and placed rice cakes on it, then wore a serious expression.
“A conception dream?”
Se-han, with a puzzled look in his eyes, asked again, and Auntie Sooni nodded.
“Right. You said that tiger jumped right into your arms, Se-han?”
“Yes.”
It seems like a conception dream…”
Nam-woon chuckled lightly at Auntie Sooni’s mumbling, brushing it off.
“Oh, come on. How could that be a conception dream? It’s just a dream Se-han had after watching an animal documentary. And why would Se-han suddenly have a conception dream? There’s nobody around here who could be having a baby… Wait, unless…?”
Nam-woon casually looked up at Auntie Sooni. She waved her hand dismissively, as if incredulous.
“Hey, what are you thinking?! It’s been ages since my husband went out on his fishing boat!”
That’s right. Soon-i’s husband had gone out on a fishing boat far away and hadn’t been able to return home for several months.
At those words, Se-han’s and Auntie Sooni’s eyes simultaneously turned to look at one person. The smile from Nam-woon’s smile slowly faded… Why were they looking at him like that? Nam-woon blinked in bewilderment, and the two people spoke at the same time.
“Young man, your traits changed, didn’t they?”
“Wooni Hyung is an Omega.”
Nam-woon seriously denied Se-han’s last words.
“I might not be an Omega.”
“No, you are! Wooni Hyung smells good.”
Se-han said while watching Nam-woon’s expression. Sometimes, when Se-han would hug him, he would sniff around like a Seo-oh, but he never thought that he was actually smelling his scent! Nam-woon was surprised by Se-han’s behavior and shouted.
“Se-han, you’re not supposed to smell that!”
“Hehe.”
While Se-han used his ultimate move, whenever he was at a disadvantage, “a sweet smile and crinkled eyes” a familiar silhouette appeared from afar.
Spotting the tall man walking up the alley, Se-han jumped up from his seat and ran toward him. Nam-woon quickly brushed the puffed rice snack crumbs off his pants and stood up to hurriedly clean the bench, just as Se-han’s clear voice echoed through the alley.
“Hyung! I had a conception dream!”
“A conception dream?”
Seo-oh’s eyes widened. Before Nam-woon could rush over to Se-han and cover his mouth, Auntie Soon-i was already explaining their conversation to Seo-oh in detail.
“Se-han said he had a dream where he was holding a baby tiger in his arms. And it seems like it might be a conception dream.”
Seo-oh’s face suddenly turned serious. After hearing the whole story, he quietly looked at Nam-woon and then suddenly turned around.
“Wait. I’ll go to the pharmacy again.”
“Hey, Kwon Seo-oh! You don’t need to do that. Don’t do anything unnecessary and let’s just go upstairs to eat.”
“I already brought a pregnancy test kit, so you don’t need to go all the way there!”
Nam-woon looked back in shock at the sudden words. Grandpa Nam-nam, who must have heard about it somewhere, came out of the store holding an item. It was the pregnancy test kit Nam-woon had bought at the pharmacy earlier!
In disbelief, Nam-woon exclaimed,
“Why is that here?”
Grandpa Nam-nam shrugged casually and replied,
“Well, I thought, just in case, huh? In case young Wooni urgently needed it, I stocked up in advance. It’s a long run to the pharmacy—when would you ever get there?”
Grandpa Nam-nam firmly placed the test kit in Nam-woon’s hand. Serious and tense gazes were focused on him. I’m practically no different from a Beta… So why is everyone looking at me with such expectant eyes? Nam-woon frowned and scratched his head before reluctantly getting up from his seat.
