The last time Seong-woon had been on an awards stage was when he was 19. That’s over 10 years ago. What did he say then… He probably thanked his parents, director, writer, manager, and others in a clichéd manner.

Thank his parents, brothers, sister… Hyeong-seok hyung and the stylist noona, also Director Lee Jun-ho, Sunbae-nim Song Ji-kwang, the staff… Ah, can’t forget the agency CEO, and include his aunt too…

Then Seong-woon stared blankly at Baek Sang-hyun sitting next to him. In his head, it seemed right to list Baek Sang-hyun’s name after Song Ji-kwang, but his heart was saying something else.

    “What is it?”

    “…It’s nothing.”

“The water must be too cold to drink.”

    “It’s fine.”

Baek Sang-hyun opened a water bottle and handed it to him. Seong-woon was quite thirsty, so he took a few sips before putting it down. As he straightened his back, the awards ceremony began.

After some light banter from the MCs and a prepared video from the dickizers, the rookie award announcements began immediately.

“Rookies don’t even get time to prepare, huh.”

“…It’s better to get the beating over with quickly.”

Seong-woon really thought so. It’s better to endure difficult and painful things oneself, and it’s better to tackle challenging tasks first. And what’s so hard about receiving an award? It’s a good thing.

“You sound like someone who’s received many awards before, Chae-yoon-ssi.”

    “…It’s my first time.”

“I know that better than anyone! To think I’d become the director giving Ryu Chae-yoon a rookie award.”

He hasn’t received the award yet, but anyone listening would think he’d already won and come back. Seong-woon smiled away from Director Lee Jun-ho’s doting words and stroked the heavy necklace once. His mother’s love was indeed very big… and expensive, really.

After the TV category awards finished, they soon moved on to the film category. Last year’s male and female winners came on stage to share brief thoughts before Seong-woon’s face appeared on a quartered screen.

As he unconsciously smiled, screams could be heard from behind. Startled for a moment and about to turn around, Baek Sang-hyun covered the back of his hand and whispered:

    “Look forward.”

He then pointed out the lit camera. I already know, you know. Barely ignoring the louder sounds from behind, Seong-woon waved at the camera.

As if targeting a moment when his mind was slightly absent, the announcement continued.

“Congratulations to Ryu Chae-yoon from ‘Orbital Collision.'”

Seong-woon didn’t react immediately, but Baek Sang-hyun jumped up from his seat. The chair, pushed back by his momentum, wobbled as if it might fall over.

    “Congratulations, Chae-yoon-ssi.”

“I was certain you’d win, but still felt nervous.”

Frozen like a statue despite the words pouring in from around him, Seong-woon only came to his senses when an arm wrapped around his waist, and he stood up as if leaping.

As soon as he stood, Baek Sang-hyun hugged him tightly. Barely pushing away the thought of wanting to stay in his embrace longer, Seong-woon got caught up in the atmosphere and hugged the excited director and Song Ji-kwang beside him before hurriedly walking up the stairs.

My vision blurred slightly and I felt dizzy. Surely my heart wasn’t hurting, was it? Doubting the doctor’s words that he was almost fully recovered, Seong-woon unconsciously touched his chest, slightly to the left of his solar plexus. His heart inside his ribcage was beating much faster than usual, but still normally.

Fortunately, Seong-woon managed to reach center stage before the brief introduction of Ryu Chae-yoon’s background ended. The presenters handed over the trophy and a small bouquet before stepping back.

    “Hello.”

After barely getting out a greeting, Seong-woon closed his mouth for a moment. Then he raised his gaze straight ahead to look at the brightly shining spectacle before him.

Celebrities all dressed up in their seats, cameras and bright lights filling the space in front and behind, and the audience too. Countless eyes and lights were piercing through him.

    “…I’m Ryu Chae-yoon.”

Pronouncing that name no longer felt awkward. Ryu Chae-yoon, who is Jin Seong-woon, Jin Seong-woon, who is Ryu Chae-yoon.

When Seong-woon said his name and remained expressionless for a moment, the surroundings fell completely silent. The man standing on stage carried enough gravitas for that.

Thinking about how he was pulling off a nationwide scam of receiving a rookie award after acting for 30 years, Seong-woon couldn’t help but smile a little. Perhaps because of the large emerald necklace, it was sparkling like a glass flower blooming.

    “Thank you.”

After briefly expressing thanks, Seong-woon looked around. He hadn’t even wished to stand here, and it had been 10 years since he first thought about wanting to enter this space just once.

He thought he had given up on everything already, but it seems he was greedier and more jealous than he realized. Standing in this place, the unpleasant emotions he had kept tightly suppressed suddenly bloomed and then evaporated in an instant.

“I was able to stand here thanks to great work. Director Lee Jun-ho, PD Heo Seong-chan…”

After expressing gratitude one by one to the main actors and staff who appeared in “Orbital Collision” with him, as well as the company people, there were only a few left.

“My parents, who must have worried a lot because of their lacking son, my older brothers and sister, who always play with me despite our big age difference. I’m grateful to you all… and I love you.”

This love is now sincere, not fabricated.

“Thanks to my aunt, who listened to the words of her immature nephew, I was able to achieve my dream. Thank you.”

His lips curled up unintentionally as he remembered his aunt, who was so disappointed she couldn’t attend the awards ceremony due to another business trip, despite the fact that the work she created was nominated for Best Picture. If she had been here, wouldn’t she have applauded loudly?

“…It feels like I’ve come through a long tunnel.”

People might say, ‘What are you talking about when you debuted as a comet-like rookie and immediately won the rookie award?’, but he couldn’t stop his lips from moving on their own.

Still, when you come out of a tunnel… that light feels even brighter.

“I’ll continue to show you better sides of myself in the future. Oh, and…”

Seong-woon blinked his eyes quickly a few times and added words rapidly as if rapping. But because his vocalization and pronunciation were so good, it stuck in everyone’s ears clearly.

“Thank you for recognizing me no matter where I am or what I look like. …”

The last sentence was so mumbled in his mouth that it was really barely audible. Even under the bright lights that made his scalp feel hot, Seong-woon quickly went down the stairs, showing signs that his face had turned quite red.

    Comments:

    But… didn’t he forget Baek Sang-hyun? hahahahaha

    ➥ Oh, you’re right hahahahaha

➥ He’s going to feel left out hahahaha They were really close

As expected, a rookie award isn’t enough, should he get the Grand Prize?

➥ Chae-yoon cries better than expected (photo of mom seeing him off at airport)(photo of him crying during stage greeting)

    ➥➥ OMG

    * * *

Director Lee Jun-ho didn’t win Best Picture in the film category, but unexpectedly won the screenplay award. It’s said that the judges gave high scores for taking a conventional genre and subject matter and developing it in a unique direction.

And Baek Sang-hyun achieved even higher results than expected. He and those around him had predicted he might win the Excellence Award, but no one anticipated he would win the Grand Prize.

“Human Justice” not only broke the record for longest viewing time on Webflix, but also perfectly satisfied the entertainment aspect while portraying human struggles, reconciliation, cooperation, and discord, earning recognition for its artistic merit in posing the question “What exactly is human?”

The judges gave high scores to the work itself, but chose “Human Justice” for the Drama Grand Prize and Baek Sang-hyun as the Grand Prize winner for best expressing that anguish and elevating the work several levels.

Baek Sang-hyun’s Grand Prize acceptance speech was almost the same as usual, but the talk about “that person” that always came at the end was conspicuously absent. That caused even more of a stir.

People had differing opinions on who exactly “that person” was, why he no longer mentioned them in his acceptance speeches, whether he had really told “that person” that the “that person” in his speeches referred to them, and they had become acquainted.

So what are the two who won the Rookie Award and Excellence Award at today’s Baekryong Arts Awards doing now…

“Take, take off your clothes, ugh, I said let’s do it…”

“Didn’t I buy it to take it off?”

“No, I mean we can do it after taking it off.”

“It’s a bit different from doing it after taking it off.”

The conflict continued between the chaebol’s youngest son, trembling at the thought of ruining clothes he’d only worn once, and the Grand Prize-winning actor who planned to tear apart the awards show clothes he wouldn’t wear twice anyway.

“Just lie down nicely and I’ll undress you.”

At those words, Seong-woon dropped his raised upper body onto the bed. The hand that had caressed his cheek once moved below the necklace and undid the shirt buttons one by one.

“Ah, what should we do about the necklace?”

    “Shall we take it off?”

“No, it had some special mechanism.”

Hadn’t the stylist opened the lock with a special magnet while their hands were shaking? The problem was that they hadn’t brought it back.

    “What should we do?”

    “Is it very heavy?”

    “It’s not as bad as I thought…”

Perhaps thanks to the new setting, it didn’t feel excessively heavy compared to the size and weight of the jewels.

    “Then I’ll get it tomorrow.”

Baek Sang-hyun kissed Seong-woon’s cheek with a peck as he quickly undid all the shirt buttons. As the jacket and shirt were removed all at once, Seong-woon shrugged his shoulders and shivered. Even though the air conditioning worked well, the air in the house that had been empty all day was colder than expected.

    “You’re too sensitive to cold.”

“It’s because you suddenly took off my clothes.”

Seong-woon hugged the blanket and unnecessarily covered his upper body. Every time the cold platinum touched his collarbone, it sent shivers down his spine.

“But I want to wash up.”

When Seong-woon pushed his shoulder, Baek Sang-hyun smiled knowingly and picked him up in his arms. Carried to the bathroom while completely leaning his body against Baek Sang-hyun, Seong-woon sat on the edge of the bathtub and entrusted his face to Baek Sang-hyun’s familiar touch.

    “Aren’t you tired?”

    “…A little.”

As he felt the gentle hands rubbing his face with his eyes closed, he was starting to feel sleepy. Still, he nodded that he was fine, but Baek Sang-hyun’s hands were warm, and the bathroom was filled with a cozy atmosphere due to the hot water running in the tub, so he couldn’t help but drop his head.

    “It’s okay, go to sleep.”

“I’m still okay. Maybe because I won an award, I feel like dopamine is flowing.”

As Baek Sang-hyun lifted Seong-woon’s clear face with the makeup removed, he picked him up and entered the bathtub.

    “Is it hot?”

    “Yeah… no, it’s fine.”

Immersing his body fully in the water with dissolved lavender bath salts, Seong-woon leaned his entire body against Baek Sang-hyun sitting behind him. He was briefly conscious of something like a weapon touching his back, but soon got used to that too.

“What did you say at the end?”

    “…The end?”

“At the end of your acceptance speech.”

    “Ah, that…”

It seemed too embarrassing to say in front of others and not proper etiquette, so he had swallowed it, but it wasn’t something he couldn’t say in front of Baek Sang-hyun.

    “I said I love you.”

    “…”

“But I just realized… I didn’t mention your name when I was giving my speech, did I?”

Seong-woon asked in alarm as he recalled the speech he had given. When Baek Sang-hyun silently nodded, he covered his face with both hands and hunched his shoulders.

“I messed up, really… There will be weird people saying things again.”

    “But still…”

    “It’ll be okay, right?”

Before Baek Sang-hyun could say it was okay, Seong-woon spoke the reassuring sentence out loud first. As if he had completely escaped from the dark shadow of Jin Seong-woon who feared and dreaded people’s words.

“Of course. They’ll think it’s a cute mistake by a rookie actor. Or they might say Ryu Chae-yoon doesn’t really like Baek Sang-hyun, but Baek Sang-hyun likes him and follows him around?”

“…Want to do a live broadcast together tomorrow?”

It’s okay to treat him like an idiot who forgot to thank someone he should have, but the misunderstanding that he doesn’t really like Baek Sang-hyun is not acceptable.

    “Sounds good.”

Kissing his wet hair and temples, Baek Sang-hyun gently rubbed Seong-woon’s body. He kneaded the softened muscles and even bit the snow-white shoulder once. Though he flinched slightly, Seong-woon didn’t avoid it. Instead, he gradually became drowsy from those touches and nearly dunked his head in the bathwater before barely lifting it again.

    “Lean here and sleep.”

Making Seong-woon’s head rest completely on his shoulder, Baek Sang-hyun thoroughly washed Seong-woon’s body. Even when he put his hand between his legs, Seong-woon showed little reaction as Baek Sang-hyun plainly picked him up, took him out, and laid him on the bed.

The emeralds, platinum, and diamonds adorning the white skin shone brilliantly even under the small light of the bedside table. But jewels held no particular meaning for Baek Sang-hyun. In his eyes, only Jin Seong-woon shone most beautifully.

After leaving a few marks on Seong-woon’s limp body and fighting for a long time with emotions that wouldn’t subside no matter how many kisses he gave, Baek Sang-hyun tightly embraced Seong-woon’s still lukewarm body.

The emerald necklace, which had already cooled, made a clinking sound as it collided. At that moment, Seong-woon’s eyes flickered open.

“…I keep falling asleep and waking up.”

    “Did I wake you?”

“No. I woke up because the necklace was cold.”

“If we stay close like this, it will get warm.”

Seong-woon lifted the heavy necklace with two fingers and then dropped it. When he was sleepy, he couldn’t even open his big eyes halfway, but today they were their normal size, so he must have really woken up.

Baek Sang-hyun, who had been planning to just dress him and put him to sleep, quietly watched Seong-woon playing with the necklace and then kissed him. It was an emotion that couldn’t be compared to the kisses he gave when Seong-woon was drowsy with sleep.

Before he knew it, Baek Sang-hyun was on top of Seong-woon, indulging in his plump lips for a long time. The texture, slightly swollen from the warm water, was like French toast soaked in egg wash. When he sucked on the small tongue inside, it even seemed to have a sweet taste.

    “Haa….”

Seong-woon punched Baek Sang-hyun’s shoulder with his fist, as if he were suffocating. Barely suppressing the urge to restrain, push down, and force himself on him, Baek Sang-hyun only grabbed his wrist and pressed it down on the bed. He was even afraid of what kind of expression Seong-woon would make if he did everything he was imagining in his head.

“Do you like it when I kiss you?”

    “…That’s a given.”

Seong-woon, who was cupping Baek Sang-hyun’s cheek with his palm, asked a silly question. Perhaps thinking so himself, Seong-woon laughed briefly and whispered in Baek Sang-hyun’s ear as if he were about to tell a secret.

    “Me too.”

Then, he slowly stroked Baek Sang-hyun’s back with his lukewarm palm. There probably weren’t that many nerve endings on his back, but how could mere friction with a palm make him feel goosebumps, make his hair stand on end?

    “Oh, it got bigger.”

Seong-woon looked down and said all sorts of nonsense without worrying about his own future. Baek Sang-hyun covered Seong-woon’s eyes with his palm and pressed down hard, kissing him indiscriminately on his lips, mouth, and cheeks.

    “You’re, surprisingly… easily embarrassed, aren’t you?”

    “Me?”

    “Yeah.”

“Should I show you what’s really embarrassing?”

“What are you going to do…? Hey, if you do that suddenly…! Ugh….”

Baek Sang-hyun spread Seong-woon’s legs and buried his face between them. Without even breathing on the half-erect penis, he licked further inside, pushing his tongue in.

    “I, ah…! Don’t, don’t do that…!”

He knew why he was telling him not to. He got tired too quickly, and sometimes he would even soak the bed if they ended up having intercourse later.

In the brief moment that Baek Sang-hyun released his waist, Seong-woon rolled his body, trying to escape. But he was immediately grabbed by the ankle and dragged back.

With Seong-woon lying face down, Baek Sang-hyun carefully and meticulously rummaged through his insides. Only a tightly suppressed sound, as if he had a blanket in his mouth, could be heard, but he could definitely tell that he was half-sobbing.

    “Heu, euung, ah, no… ah….”

The muscles in contact with his palm repeatedly contracted and relaxed. The white skin, covered in hot sweat, shone like platinum around his neck.

Stroking his dry back and burying his fingers deep inside his loosened insides, Seong-woon unknowingly pressed his body against Baek Sang-hyun’s face, as if asking for more. It didn’t seem intentional, but it was like pouring oil on Baek Sang-hyun’s fire.

    “Ah…!”

Seong-woon’s throat was half-blocked, and the sound couldn’t come out completely. Baek Sang-hyun massaged Seong-woon’s wet penis a little harder, pushing three fingers inside.

Rubbing the inside that gradually softened as the number of times increased, Baek Sang-hyun bit down hard on the plumpest part of Seong-woon’s body. Even that was felt as a stimulus, and his hand became soaked again.

“Glad I bought a waterproof cover, right?”

    “Heu… I, don’t know….”

After throwing away a mattress once, Seong-woon avoided Baek Sang-hyun. Whenever he tried to touch his body, he would jump up and leave, or he would touch him first but then push his hand away. Unable to bear seeing him like that any longer, Baek Sang-hyun bought several waterproof covers from somewhere and laid them on the bed.

“Haa, heueung… stop, ah, it hurts, just the tip….”

Seong-woon waved his hand, begging him to stop. Baek Sang-hyun cleanly removed his hand and left Seong-woon alone for a while. Just as Seong-woon, who was twitching from his fingertips to his toes, was about to turn his head slightly to look at Baek Sang-hyun, he turned his light body around and grabbed both ankles, spreading them apart.

    “Ah…!”

Seong-woon unknowingly tried to escape from the pain of a penis of unbearable size piercing through his body. But with both ankles held by Baek Sang-hyun and something that seemed to distort perspective penetrating between his legs, he could only twist his upper body.

Baek Sang-hyun’s eyes narrowed at the hot sensation of being squeezed without a gap. Gathering the slender ankles in one hand and pulling them, Seong-woon’s upper arm twitched greatly.

    “Heuk, it hurts….”

    “I’m sorry.”

Sincerely wiping away the tears that were flowing physiologically, Baek Sang-hyun stared down at Seong-woon for a long time. He was going to wait until he got used to it, but every time the teary eyes reflected him, he couldn’t resist pushing his penis in further.

    “Fucking….”

It seemed like there were more curses after that, but he pretended not to hear them. It was something he couldn’t help even if he heard it.

Every time Seong-woon twisted his body and Baek Sang-hyun pushed his penis in a little more, the green emerald and platinum shone dazzlingly. But Baek Sang-hyun didn’t even look in that direction. Because there was something more beautiful.

Putting down the legs he was holding, Baek Sang-hyun lifted Seong-woon up and hugged him tightly. Seong-woon shuddered as his penis dug deeper inside due to the weight, but he didn’t push Baek Sang-hyun away. Rather….

    “Lips….”

    “Huh?”

    “…Suck on my lips.”

Then, he even puckered his lips as if begging for a kiss. Without a moment’s hesitation, Baek Sang-hyun swallowed his red lips and thrust his hips up. Hugging his stiffening back tightly and pressing his chest against his, the cold necklace touched him.

    “Stop, stop pushing it in….”

Seong-woon supported his collapsing body with his knees on the bed. Baek Sang-hyun didn’t want to hurt Seong-woon any more either, so he wrapped his arms around his waist and tried to control the depth of the insertion, but every time he pressed inside, Seong-woon’s breath became hotter.

    “…Do you like it?”

    “Yeah… haa, I like it, I like it but… it hurts… ah…!”

It wasn’t just painful, as the penis that had already been ejaculated once was hard again. Baek Sang-hyun rubbed Seong-woon’s penis with his lower abdomen and lowered his waist a little more.

Seong-woon’s back trembled. The moment Seong-woon’s thigh muscles gave way and he collapsed, Baek Sang-hyun felt the very thin thread of reason he had barely been holding onto snap.

    “Haa….”

“Hngh… hik, haa, too much, ah, Baek Sang-hyun-ah….”

“Hueu, haa… my back, hik, won’t stop, moving.”

The tip of his glans bumped into something.

“Hey, you… euut… heu, get a grip, get a grip on yourself?”

Seong-woon hit Baek Sang-hyun’s shoulders and chest several times with his palm, but he didn’t feel any pain, let alone feel it. It was as if someone had rummaged through his brain, and nothing was being transmitted except for the sensation of massaging his penis.

    “Wait, just a moment, ah…! Baek Sang-hyun, Baek Sang-hyun…!”

Baek Sang-hyun covered Seong-woon’s mouth and laid him down. His whole body was moving on its own. The thought that Seong-woon would be in pain flashed through his mind for a moment, but it quickly evaporated. As if it had never existed in the first place.

    “Ngh, hnngh….”

He bit and entangled his small tongue, scraping his palate. Then, he made eye contact with Seong-woon’s watery eyes, which were even slightly mixed with resentment.

Even while looking at that, Baek Sang-hyun’s waist didn’t stop. He only gently brushed back Seong-woon’s wet hair and caressed his cheeks.

    “Ah…!”

As he lifted both legs onto his shoulders and pushed in, Seong-woon’s stomach became even more concave. Soon, liquid spurted from his trembling dick, and water flowed down, pooling in the well-drawn on his belly.

The interior, tightening erratically, squeezed Baek Sang-hyun’s member. Pressing hard against the tip, Baek Sang-hyun released everything inside Seong-woon.

    “Hnngh…”

Holding Seong-woon’s body tightly, Baek Sang-hyun thrust his hips to push in completely and looked down at the limp Seong-woon. He slowly ran his fingertips over Seong-woon’s skin, glistening with fluids of indeterminate origin, then hooked a finger under the heavy necklace and lifted it.

“I’ll buy you an even bigger jewel.”

    “…Huh?”

“I’m even jealous of the necklace your mother gave you.”

Seong-woon lifted his tear-stained eyelashes in disbelief and burst out laughing. Then he spread his arms.

Unable to tell who was embracing whom, they held each other tightly as Baek Sang-hyun buried his face in Seong-woon’s nape.

    “…I love you.”

    “Yeah… I know.”

“Both Jin Seong-woon and Ryu Chae-yoon.”

    “…They’re both me.”

Falling in love once again with Seong-woon’s bright smile and the sparkle of his soul, Baek Sang-hyun reverently kissed Seong-woon’s forehead with a worshipful heart.

    * * *

Something was squirming on top of my body. Baek Sang-hyun opened his eyes slightly, glanced down briefly, then squeezed them shut again. A black head of hair wriggled around on his chest, up to something.

Gentle nibbles on his chest were followed by slightly cold palms caressing his stomach. Then, straddling his lower abdomen completely, red marks began appearing on his collarbone. At least they were in spots that would be hidden by clothing.

Fingertips that had been stroking his stomach now grazed his chest teasingly. Seong-woon, who had been kissing Baek Sang-hyun’s neck and trailing his lips along his jawline, suddenly stopped moving.

    “…Are you awake?”

    “…”

“You are awake. Come on, open your eyes.”

Their foreheads bumped together. Unable to contain his tickling and laughter, Baek Sang-hyun’s chest shook as he opened his eyes. Seong-woon quickly sat up.

“You should report when you’re awake.”

“I didn’t want to ruin the mood.”

Baek Sang-hyun wrapped his arms around Seong-woon’s waist and rolled them halfway over. Seong-woon, lying there completely at ease despite wearing nothing, looked utterly adorable.

    “What were you doing?”

“I was drawing on my body, but it bothered me that you’re all white and smooth.”

    “Bite me here then.”

Baek Sang-hyun tilted his chin up, exposing his neck invitingly. Seong-woon eagerly sank his teeth in, but it didn’t hurt much. Then he licked the spot like a cat, which was almost unbearably ticklish.

    “Are you hungry?”

“…I woke up because I was hungry.”

“Ah, so you woke me up to feed you.”

    “No, that’s not it.”

After planting a kiss on Seong-woon’s smooth cheek, Baek Sang-hyun got up and rummaged through the closet with practiced familiarity, even though it wasn’t his. He took out soft pajamas from a drawer and helped Seong-woon put them on.

“It’s cold in the living room, so stay here.”

The beige fluffy pajamas paired well with the necklace draped over them. Baek Sang-hyun patted Seong-woon’s head as he nodded obediently, then went to prepare breakfast as usual.

He poured two cups of warm barley coffee and some orange juice, then scooped up Seong-woon, who was already dozing in the morning sunlight, and sat him in a dining chair. As always, he brought over a cozy blanket and wrapped it around his shoulders.

“…You’re really getting spoiled. It’ll be all your fault if I make a bad impression somewhere now.”

“Are you going to sleep and have breakfast with other people too?”

    “What?”

“If you don’t, this won’t happen.”

“Carrying me, setting out utensils, not even letting me pour my own water anymore?”

“If you were the type to get spoiled by that sort of thing…”

Baek Sang-hyun couldn’t finish his sentence and just smiled gently. Jin Seong-woon was a resilient person. Despite facing harsh coldness, endless indifference and hatred, he may have wavered but never broke.

    “Why did you stop talking?”

“What’s wrong with getting a little spoiled? Everyone will understand.”

“…You’re starting to think too much like my family lately.”

    “Isn’t that a good thing?”

    “…Yeah.”

Watching Seong-woon laugh out loud, memories from last night kept popping into Baek Sang-hyun’s mind. Jin Seong-woon, unable to properly control his body, entrusting himself completely to him…

Seong-woon took a bite of the open-faced salmon sandwich, his cheeks puffing out as he chewed slowly. Baek Sang-hyun kissed his cheek, making him chuckle.

In his mind, Baek Sang-hyun was already imagining taking off the pajamas he’d just put on Seong-woon, licking, sucking, touching… melting his entire body and devouring him. He mechanically chewed and swallowed his sandwich without tasting it at all.

“This is delicious. What sauce did you use?”

    “…”

    “Sang-hyun? …Baek Sang-hyun?”

Seong-woon tapped Baek Sang-hyun’s cheek. Along with the last bite of bread, Baek Sang-hyun swallowed down the desire that remained even after last night.

“If you’re done eating, take a picture of me.”

“You want to post about having breakfast?”

“Yeah, and I want one holding the trophy, too.”

Though Seong-woon felt awkward about his fans on social media and fan cafes, he truly cherished them. Even after the awards ceremony yesterday, he signed autographs and shook hands with everyone who approached him.

His manager fretted about potential troublemakers getting too close, but everyone respected Seong-woon enough to keep their distance after getting autographs and handshakes.

The photo came out beautifully thanks to the sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The loose pajamas under the intricately patterned blanket, perched on the tall chair with toes barely touching the floor for balance – it all looked like a painting. Even his tousled hair appeared artfully styled rather than bedhead.

“Wow, you took a great photo.”

“It’s because the subject is so good.”

Seong-woon was about to post the photo on social media right away, but hesitated. It was such a raw, candid photo. Posting a picture that was taken at home by someone else seemed… not quite right. Though Baek Sang-hyun probably wouldn’t mind if their relationship became public, Seong-woon wasn’t ready for that.

He sealed away the photo Baek Sang-hyun had taken deep in his phone and chose one from the awards ceremony to upload instead. He felt a little regretful about it.

“They say the rookie award is more meaningful because you can only receive it once, but I’ve received it twice.”

“You got it very early, didn’t you?”

    “Yeah.”

Twenty years ago, Seong-woon won the rookie award at the Baekryong Arts Awards. Baekryong didn’t have a child actor category, and the award came with a judge’s comment that there was no need to confine the evaluation to the framework of child actors in the first place.

Seong-woon gazed quietly at the trophy engraved with Ryu Chae-yoon’s name, then simply smiled a little. Well, starting over didn’t seem so bad.

    “Mr. Grand Prize Winner.”

    “Yes?”

    “Move me a bit.”

    “Of course.”

Baek Sang-hyun gently lifted Seong-woon and carefully moved him to the bed. It was the movement of someone who knew how much he had lost control of himself yesterday.

“But… do you want to do more?”

    “…Pardon?”

“Your eyes look… not much different from when you lost it yesterday. And earlier you were acting like you couldn’t hear me well…”

    “No way.”

    “I don’t believe you.”

    “…I’ll just hold you.”

Baek Sang-hyun slipped into the bed beside him, arranged the blanket over them, and held Seong-woon tight. Well… being held was nice and warm.

“I’m sorry for tiring you out. Let’s sleep a bit more.”

    “…It’s okay.”

    “You always say it’s okay.”

It really was okay, that’s why he said it was okay, but Seong-woon just chuckled and squeezed his blinking eyes shut.

Behind Seong-woon’s eyelids, he saw Baek Sang-hyun receiving the grand prize trophy yesterday. Baek Sang-hyun, who said he was like the moon that could only shine with stars.

For someone who made such a heartfelt confession, he shone too brightly… but if Seong-woon’s existence could make Baek Sang-hyun shine even more like that, Seong-woon was willing to sparkle hard too.
