DP Episode 97
by BrieDeep Pivot, Episode 97
“You can stay at the hotel until the cleanup at the site is finished.”
After ending his call with Cheong-oh, Yeon-woo browsed the room service menu in the room. Seo-joon lay on the bed, quietly watching him.
“Are you hungry, Lieutenant?”
Yeon-woo lay down beside him and gave Seo-joon a quick kiss on the lips. Seo-joon wrapped his hand around Yeon-woo’s head and planted a few more minty-scented kisses on his lips.
After a session of petting following fellatio and a shared bath, the shock of having been aucked from behind melted away, leaving Seo-joon feeling fresh and dry.
As Yeon-woo carefully examined the menu, he said.
“I’ve never been to a place like this before, so I’m not sure. Can we really order anything here?”
“Yes, anything. Pick whatever you’d like, Yeon-woo.”
Yeon-woo looked even more refreshed than when he first arrived. Though it was Seo-joon who had been guided, somehow Yeon-woo was the one brimming with energy.
He thoroughly checked all the ingredients for mashed potatoes with mushroom ragout, grilled salmon with caper sauce, and Sachertorte with fruit, even inspecting what would be included in Seo-joon’s porridge. Once satisfied, he placed the room service order.
Seo-joon stretched out his arms and nestled closer to Yeon-woo, who willingly embraced him.
“I’ve been thinking deeply on my own.” Yeon-woo began.
āWait.ā
Seo-joon lifted his head and gently covered Yeon-woo’s mouth.
āWhen you say youāve been thinking deeply about something, I start to worry.ā
A soft giggle escaped from behind his palm.
āItās not weirdā¦ I just have a lot on my mind, Lieutenant.ā
He mumbled adorably into Seo-joon’s hand.
āBesides thinking about giving me head, what else have you been thinking?ā
āI have 13 days until graduation. After that, I won’t have to go to school anymore, so I’d like to travel with you.ā
āHmm. Where to?ā
āJeju Island. Team Leader said that while we can’t go abroad, we can travel anywhere domestically.ā
Yeon-woo grabbed Seo-joon’s hand and placed it on his chest.
āBut before that, I want to get my license. We’ll probably be driving a lot on our trip, and I don’t want you to get too tired. If I get my license, I can do the driving.ā
Since they had become lovers, Yeon-woo had become more talkative and cheerful. His initial shy and quiet demeanor had concealed how much he had kept his true feelings hidden.
āYour confidence is remarkable, Yeon-woo. Do you think Iāll hand over the wheel right after you get your license?ā
āIs that a problemā¦?ā
āWhy would I trust you with my life?ā
Seo-joon joked playfully. Yeon-woo rolled his eyes, thinking for a moment before responding.
āThen let’s delay the trip a little. When I’m comfortable driving, we can go.ā
āWho will you learn from?ā
āHmmā¦ā
āDonāt learn from Song-hee.ā
āOh, herā¦ā
Yeon-woo’s face suddenly darkened. He recalled how, when Song-hee had picked up him and Jeong-woo, she had scratched Cheong-ohās side mirror multiple times just leaving the parking lot.
āMy confidence is shaken now. Sheās a med student, right? If someone that smart makes mistakes, I’ll probably make even more.ā
āDriving and being a med student are unrelated. That kind of intelligence doesnāt translate to driving.ā
Seo-joon traced his fingers over Yeon-woo’s collarbone.
āIāll teach you how to drive. Even after you get your license, you’ll train with me for a while.ā
āThatās a bitā¦ā
Yeon-woo pouted.
āThey say couples shouldn’t teach each other how to drive. They fight a lot.ā
Seo-joon laughed as he turned over and climbed on top of Yeon-woo.
“You think I’d get mad at you?”
A partner who can’t even scold after being sucked from behind wouldnāt be angered by driving lessons. He brushed Yeon-woo’s curly, tousled hair aside and kissed his forehead. Chup, chup. His lips moved from Yeon-woo’s nose to his cheeks, then gently rested on his lips.
“How could I ever be mad when you’re so pretty and adorable?”
Yeon-woo’s eyes crinkled with joy, a little laugh escaping their connected lips.
“Am I pretty?”
“You know it, so why do you keep asking?”
“I just want to hear it one more time.”
Seo-joon gently kissed Yeon-woo’s lips. He whispered sweetly against them.
“You’re beautiful, Yeon-woo. The most beautiful in the world. I want to keep you hidden away like a treasure.”
“You’re the most handsome person in the world, Lieutenant. You’re so good-looking that I’m always worried someone will steal you away while I’m at school.”
When I graduate, I want to spend all day with you. You don’t know how long the time apart feels for me. I’m so happy lately, I hope you’ll always keep loving me. If anyone asks for your number while I’m not around, don’t give it to themā¦
He kept babbling, pouring out his confessions, until Seo-joon laughed.
“What’s there to worry about when we’re living together? If anyone asks for my number, I’ll just say I have a cute partner waiting at home.”
“ā¦Just say you’re married. A partner leaves room for challenge.”
“Well, saying I’m married feels a bit strange. People might not recognize you’re my husband even if you’re with me. Wouldn’t it be better to just say I’m gay?”
Yeon-woo frowned, his eyebrows knitted together.
“Ah, it’s such a shameā¦”
Yeon-woo wrapped his arms around Seo-joon’s waist and rolled them both onto their sides, tightly entwining his limbs around Seo-joon.
“Since awakening as a guide, I haven’t found much to be disappointing, but not being able to travel abroad is sad. In some other countries, even two men can get married.”
Seo-joon playfully tapped Yeon-woo on the nose, chuckling.
“Do you think you’d feel safe just because of legal ties?”
“No, that wouldn’t be enough.”
Yeon-woo scrunched his brows and spoke firmly. He held Seo-joon’s hand, placing gentle kisses on his fingers and knuckles.
“ā¦But I’d still be happy to become family with you, Lieutenant. Then we would never part.”
“Does that country you mentioned not have a divorce system?”
Yeon-woo, whose bright eyes had been shining as he nibbled on Seo-joon’s fingers, suddenly became cold and still.
“ā¦Wow, that’s so mean.”
Seo-joon chuckled, cupping Yeon-woo’s cheek.
“Would you divorce me, Lieutenant?”
“It’s just a joke.”
Why would I ever divorce you, Yeon-woo?
Technically, we haven’t even gotten married yetā¦ His imaginative partner had already walked down the aisle, finished the honeymoon, and was now thinking about divorce.
Seo-joon soothed his sulking partner with gentle kisses. Whether it’s marriage or divorce, it doesn’t matter because I won’t ever get tired of you.
While they whispered sweet nothings to each other, the room service arrived. Seo-joon watched as Yeon-woo, securing his loosened robe, went out to receive it, then turned his head toward the bedroom window.
“ā¦”
Squeak. Squeak.
The sound of glass being wiped, the eerie noise scratching at his eardrums.
There could be a gate above them, or he could be trapped in a nightmare.
If it wasn’t one of those two, this sound shouldn’t exist.
In an instant, he sat up and pulled the curtains wide open. But outside the window, he could only see the sprawling cityscape; there were no window cleaners to be seen.
Squeak, squeak, squeak.
A strange noise behind him seemed to call his name. Creak, creak. The sound sharply scratched at his eardrums, making his eyes tremble.
“ā¦”
An unsettling presence felt like it was directly behind his head, but slightly off to the side. It tightened his skin and made his hair stand on end.
His heart sank and pounded heavily, his whole body stiff with fear. Seo-joon tried to turn his head to identify the source of the eerie sensation.
“Lieutenant.”
He spun around quickly to see Yeon-woo, who had already returned.
“What’s wrong?”
“Ahā¦”
The tension that had been stretched taut suddenly loosened, and Seo-joon shook his head as he closed the curtains.
“It’s nothing.”
A chill settled over him from his toes to his scalp, and he shivered as he tightened his robe.
“ā¦It’s a bit cold.”
In response, Yeon-woo stepped forward and hugged him tightly. Seo-joon, retracting his cold and trembling fingertips, returned the embrace.
