GTAS Arc. 1 Ch.25
by camiWatching his cherished silhouette disappear from the narrow alley, Li Chen suddenly turned around. The tenderness in his eyes when he looked at Shen Liyu was gone, replaced by a menacing glare.
The delinquent students present all shut their mouths, afraid that any slip-up would anger the already furious Li Chen.
Li Chen, on the other hand, was calm. He leisurely approached them step by step, and everyone instinctively moved aside until Li Chen reached Zhang Yong, who was kneeling on the ground and unable to get up. Li Chen slowly squatted down beside him.
Zhang Yong’s clothes were soaked with sweat, his forehead covered in cold sweat. Sweat dripped down his cheeks and fell onto his clothes, disappearing without a sound.
The other students present only knew that Li Chen was decisive, but Zhang Yong himself knew that Li Chen was capable of killing without blinking an eye!
That day, when Li Chen dared to intrude into the territory of the renowned big shot Yuan Zhen, Zhang Yong was among the crowd and witnessed Li Chen effortlessly defeat a big man with a shoulder throw. The man fell to the ground and never made a sound again!
…Especially after Li Chen was stabbed twice but didn’t fall down obediently, instead standing up again, and even after fighting five people, it wasn’t until Yuan Zhen ordered it that Li Chen escaped unscathed.
Zhang Yong thought Li Chen was doomed this time! Who would have thought that Yuan Zhen actually admired Li Chen’s ‘iron man’ spirit? Not only did he bring a doctor to treat Li Chen’s wounds, but he also promised Li Chen that he would always have a share of the meat if he needed it!
That person was now staring at him with malice! Zhang Yong felt that he was in deep trouble today!
“Did you lead people to coerce Shen Liyu into the men’s restroom and intend to… assault Shen Liyu?”
Upon hearing Li Chen’s emotionless words, Zhang Yong instinctively shrank his shoulders. He shook his head vigorously, denying the accusation. Then, in an attempt to gain Li Chen’s sympathy, he raised his head. Tears and snot mixed on his blackened face, looking truly pitiful.
“Chen, Brother Chen, I really didn’t do it! With my cowardly nature, how could I possibly do such a thing!”
With a touch of absurdity, Zhang Yong grinned at Li Chen, but his smile was forced. Then, he shouted indignantly, “It was, it was Shen Liyu who lied! He framed me and tried to drive a wedge between us! It’s all his fault!”
After Zhang Yong finished speaking, there was a moment of silence as Li Chen pondered quietly with his head lowered. Zhang Yong was highly nervous, his nerves stretched to their limit. He couldn’t help swallowing the saliva in his mouth.
“Oh~ So that’s how it is. It seems that I misunderstood you…” Li Chen said, reaching out to pat Zhang Yong’s hand that was clutching his sleeve.
Zhang Yong breathed a sigh of relief. The fear that had been stuck in his throat finally subsided. He was still trembling, and he mumbled a response, saying he was fine.
But before he could say a few more flattering words to Li Chen, Li Chen suddenly twisted the thumb that Zhang Yong was holding onto tightly. The next moment, Zhang Yong saw his thumb twisted into a distorted arc by Li Chen’s force.
Li Chen looked at Zhang Yong, who was dumbfounded and forgot to scream, and patted his numb face. He clicked his tongue, pity filling his eyes. “Tsk tsk, Zhang Yong, do you think I’m easy to fool? Whether you believe it or not… I can make you wish you were dead right now!”
At that moment, Zhang Yong, who had just reacted, suddenly felt a greater pain in his thumb than in the hand Li Chen was holding.
“Ah!!!!!!”
The narrow alley was once again filled with Zhang Yong’s wailing voice.
Meanwhile, Shen Liyu followed behind Song Qihan with a furrowed brow. He suddenly felt a bit annoyed, wondering why Song Qihan would ask him what he meant by the words he had just said in the narrow alley…
Then, a gleam appeared in his beautiful peach blossom eyes. Forget it, if Song Qihan asked him, he would just spill everything. After all, the mission to capture Song Qihan’s heart had already been accomplished, and now, apart from the intimacy they shared last night, there was nothing between him and Song Qihan…
And, it was clearly Song Qihan who had profited from it! Even if he made things clear now, Shen Liyu didn’t feel that he owed Song Qihan anything.
That’s the logic of it, but why did Shen Liyu feel so restless?
Lost in thought with his head lowered, Shen Liyu didn’t notice that they had already reached the door of the classroom where class was in session. Song Qihan had already stopped in front. Shen Liyu wasn’t paying attention and bumped into Song Qihan’s solid back, causing his small nose to throb with pain.
Song Qihan turned around directly, his deep eyes coldly fixed on Shen Liyu, who was covering his nose with his hand and frowning. Song Qihan’s tone returned to its usual seriousness.
“Go back to class first. I’ll talk to your homeroom teacher about this after class.”
With that, Song Qihan bypassed Shen Liyu and left, leaving Shen Liyu watching his departing figure with a suddenly empty feeling in his heart.
Was Song Qihan… was he mad at him?
