Early the next morning, Shen Liyu stood outside the dormitory door, waiting for Song Qihan. Although he was mad at Song Qihan for teaching him a lesson last night, seeing Song Qihan leave and retire for the night in frustration for him being an iron not turned into steel [1] made Shen Liyu no longer feel upset. 

Because he knew in his heart that Song Qihan was a good person to begin with. Otherwise, the man wouldn’t have brought him to the apartment he was staying at right now on campus and be worried if he might be harmed by Li Chen and his group again.

However, Shen Liyu’s eyes were red from crying. 

Not because he really had anything to be sad about, but because he had absorbed all the emotions of the original owner of the body. He personally experienced the pain that the original owner went through, from liking Li Chen at the beginning to voluntarily staying with him and eventually having his heart reduced to ashes [2].
