    “… Hi.”

Jae-chan, who had been distracted, greeted him urgently. It was an attempt to hide the momentary distraction, but somehow it turned into a foolish greeting. It was when Jae-chan sighed.

    “Hi.”

Woo-jin, who had put up his umbrella, responded with the same greeting. For a brief while, the gap between the two was filled only with quiet punctuated by the sound of rain. Jae-chan was at a loss for words again.

    “Did you have your dinner?”

Instead, Woo-jin asked as he entered. “No.” Jae-chan replied awkwardly, realizing that he didn’t even know he was hungry because he was cleaning. He sheepishly touched the back of his head and followed Woo-jin. The back of his ear that touched his palm, felt hot all over again.

The two sat side by side in front of a neatly cleaned desk.

Jae-chan gave his chair to Woo-jin, and he brought Jeong Noah’s chair.

The menu Woo-jin bought was neatly packaged abalone samgyetang. Jae-chan, who does not usually enjoy healthy food and was wondering how he could eat it all by himself with three king abalone in one bowl, clutched the samgyetang bowl closely the minute he took a spoonful of hot and clear soup in his lips.

“Let’s do the first one first.”

Jae-chan said as he opened his laptop.

There were two main assignments for the team project. Since the goal of the counter-terrorist training was to educate the majority of the Center with the terrorism response manual, the first assignment was a general discussion of the importance of this training. Vague, ineffective, and awkwardly bypassing reports.

However, the first assignment that caused frustration was quickly solved in an unexpected way.

“I brought it, do you want to use it?”

Woo-jin brought the document format file that Taehoon Han had prepared as a model answer. To be exact, Chae Seong-hwan stole it from Han Tae-hoon’s office.

Since the passing or failing of the first assignment was determined only by the submission status, the two quickly wrote a report based on this format without any conscience. Thus, they efficiently completed the first assignment and moved on to the next one.

The second assignment was quite specific, providing an overview of a terrorist situation and devising specific countermeasures.

[At approximately 18:00 on August 22, 567, TY-07 carrying 4 VIPs, including the Deputy Prime Minister, and 2 special agents was hijacked by an unidentified armed special operation team…]

Following this, the terrorists’ demands, the deadline for the final ultimatum, hostage situations, etc., were provided. Woo-jin was already familiar with these matters, and Jae-chan was also quite familiar with the subject due to his experience before regressing. However, their opinions were slightly divided regarding the pre-infiltration unit.

“How about splitting up the infiltration team further?”

Jae-chan suggested part of the operation when dealing with Black Swan.

Woo-jin was puzzled by the unconventional organization, but when Jae-chan explained the effectiveness of search and destroy, he quickly judged that there would be no problem in applying it.

Jae-chan was a little surprised when Woo-jin understood it right away and wrote down the details in a report. Although the operation was not currently applicable to special forces, Woo-jin was able to see through the core of the strategy at a blinding speed. Well, he was a guy who had previously been praised for being able to learn everything quickly.

After sending the completed result to the instructor’s email, it was over.

The two solved the assignment in an instant. To exaggerate a bit, it was the same speed as each person emptying their abalone samgyetang.

It was just, they were secretly in sync. Jae-chan closed the laptop, slightly overcome with emotion.

“Are you always wearing that at the official dorm?”

At that time, Woo-jin pointed to a black T-shirt made of thin material.

In fact, throughout the assignment, Woo-jin was trying hard not to look towards Jae-chan. The first thing that caught his eye was the neckline. The thin and comfortable black T-shirt made the white neck stand out vividly.

Perhaps because of the contrast of colors, but every time he turned his head, his gaze kept going to the exposed neck. Next, he noticed the broad shoulders of the T-shirt hanging. Then the waistline. Whenever he habitually touched the back of his head, the shirt pulled, revealing it slightly.

Woo-jin wondered if Jae-chan was always dressed like this. He also has a roommate…

At the same time, Goo Woo-jin suddenly realized that his own thoughts were getting weirder.

It was just a short-sleeved shirt that most people commonly wear when going out, so wasn’t it strange to be concerned about it?

    “Is it a little warm?”

Jae-chan mumbled and raised his hand to smooth the back of his head.

At the same time, Woo-jin’s eyes slightly widened. Perhaps due to the angle at which they were sitting, for a moment, the wide sleeves revealed everything inside. Woo-jin looked away in panic as he saw his inner arms, white armpits, and chest peeking out.

Woo-jin covered his mouth in embarrassment. He had the urge to take a deep breath. The particularly fluffy scent that had been lingering at the tip of his nose from earlier was now stuck to his tongue.

    “…”

And around that time, Jae-chan was also feeling a bit awkward.

Maybe it was because they were focused on the assignment. He noticed that the area under Woo-jin’s eyes was slightly red. Even if there was a bouquet of flowers in front of him, he didn’t think it would be any prettier than that. He shouldn’t be that pretty. Jae-chan’s Adams apple passed with some difficulty.

It suddenly felt difficult to breathe. Jae-chan, attempting to calm his racing heart, straightened his chest as if trying to ventilate his mind and came up with a topic to refresh his thoughts.

“Did you ever worry about that when you gave the training proposal to the Chairman?”

Jae-chan brought up the strange anxiety he briefly experienced on the day of the inauguration ceremony. Because a considerable budget had been allocated to the anti-terrorism training, he was concerned that all of the training would be in vain if there were no incidents like the Black Swan. He said this with a smile.

“What if a national terrorist organization doesn’t arise?”

If organizations like Black Swan don’t appear, wouldn’t all the training be meaningless? He was worried that if Woo-jin, who had persuaded Chairman Go Youngchang, would end up in trouble.

    “Then let’s make one.”

Woo-jin answered the question seriously without any hesitation.

Jae-chan’s lips opened in surprise. Create a terrorist organization? Because of that? Woo-jin may have been joking, but Jae-chan’s heart, which had previously calmed down, was set to race again. No, even if it was a joke, it was a problem.

Woo-jin was telling him a joke.

Every time such a thought crossed his mind, he felt so happy that he had become a comfortable person to him. Every time Woo-jin exchanged jokes with Kim Geun-won, he couldn’t help but feel jealous.

Jae-chan, who was embracing his heart that was once again overwhelmed, suddenly felt the corners of his mouth relax completely. It was a smile that naturally came out as if he had been soaked in warm bath water.

Ah, they made eye contact again.

It seemed like there were especially frequent moments today where he more aware of his gaze today. Maybe he was too conscious of Woo-jin. Jae-chan peered into the calm and serene black eyes, unable to turn away, and spoke with a smile on his face again.

    “You seem to grow taller.”

    “…”

    “Really, taller than before?”

Jae-chan reached out and estimated their heights, albeit it may not have been precise because they were sitting down. This was true. Twenty-two-year-old Go Woo-jin seemed to be growing taller little by little. Maybe even more than when he was twenty-seven.

Jae-chan didn’t know Woo-jin could get any taller than that. Still, it was clear. The height of his eyes rose as high as his fingernails, and his shoulders became wider.

Even the quiet and pretty eyebrows seemed to have become darker. …To the point where the desire to touch it was unbearable.

‘I heard there’s a fuss about Esper Go Woo-jin becoming more handsome these days.’

Jae-chan suddenly remembered his aunt’s voice. He deeply sympathized with her words, as well as the moment when he couldn’t resist the overwhelming craving for spicy braised monkfish and ate it with enthusiasm.

But now he didn’t have spicy braised monkfish. It had been a long time since he finished every drop of the abalone samgyetang.

Jae-chan anxiously rubbed the back of his hand, but it wasn’t enough. The emotions that could not be suppressed quickly accumulated internally and began to give rise to specific imaginations.

Woo-jin said he would also be a sexual partner. Then… if he shared a night with him, would he be able to kiss those pretty cheeks?

Even those eyebrows and those captivating black eyes?

It was a shameless thought, but Jae-chan could not escape from it. Should he turn on the air conditioner? The place that had before been cool and cozy with the sound of rain had now become hot and cramped. Although they were clearly only an arm’s length apart, Jae-chan felt pressure at the mental distance, as if they were only a hair’s width apart.

Meanwhile, Woo-jin was also immersed in similar thoughts of determination.

    Not enough.

Though it was difficult to express, he had been feeling the urge to do something a little more.

Woo-jin thought it was because of the sweet smell of his skin from earlier. As he focused on those scents, his thoughts naturally flowed in one direction.

Jae-chan had said that he needed a sex partner.

Then when would he need such a thing?

Without realizing it, Woo-jin sat a little closer to Jae-chan and rubbed the back of his neck, which had become hot. He continued to think while softly massaging his already tense muscles. If Jae-chan needed such a thing…

    How far could he go?

His intense gaze swept over Jae-chan’s delicate face. Tracing the smooth lines where the bruising and swelling had completely disappeared – the cheek, the slightly raised eyelashes, and the fine hair that easily fluttered in the wind.

Next, his gaze passed over the slim chin, long neck, and down to the loose t-shirt. Although he couldn’t see it now, Woo-jin remembered what he had briefly seen inside the black T-shirt. It was delicate-looking skin, but it left a strong impression that lingered in his mind.

If he spent the night with this guy, is it okay to touch, stroke, or taste all of those things?

    “Why-“

Woo-jin naturally asked as he reached that point in his thought process.

    “Aren’t you asking me to?”
