Even though it wasn’t his house, it was his first time spending the night with Jae-chan, so he wanted to prepare at least a little properly. He almost gave in to the impulse to quickly take him in his arms at the Guide’s lodging, but thanks to Gyeong Chang-hyun, he managed to buy some time.

Of course, just booking the best room in a nearby hotel wasn’t enough. Woo-jin dashed to the hotel and hastily managed to procure whatever was available. Handmade candles were bought from a store that was still open late and a bunch of roses were purchased as they were available from a lady who was organizing things on the street. If Jae-chan hadn’t been waiting, he would have prepared much better.

Jae-chan seemed frozen and said nothing. Still lacking, huh? He looked at Woo-jin with a troubled expression, and Woo-jin calmly added an explanation.

“Sorry, I didn’t expect it to be today. It’s tacky. I’m not skilled with my hands.”

Only then did Jae-chan look up. An inscrutable expression still lingered on his slender face.

Suddenly, a thought occurred to Woo-jin, and he hastily spoke up.

“I’m saying this to avoid any misunderstanding, but I don’t see you as a woman or anything like that.”

    “I know.”

Jae-chan answered right away to avoid any misunderstanding.

“I just wanted to be nice to you.”

Such a well-mannered guy. Almost too much.

Jae-chan rubbed the back of his neck, feeling a lump forming. He looked again at what Woo-jin had prepared. His heart kept fluttering. It was undeniably a familiar place, yet Woo-jin was making it unfamiliar.

Struggling to hide his wavering emotions, Jae-chan honestly expressed his feelings to Woo-jin in a subdued voice.

“I want to treat you well too.”

Touched by Woo-jin’s unexpected preparedness, Jae-chan suppressed a laugh. A smile slowly spread across Woo-jin’s lips as he watched his expression closely.

Jae-chan felt his heart flutter once again. Woo-jin started smiling in front of him at some point, but now, he was smiling more comfortably and frequently. It became increasingly difficult to breathe. His nose tingled, but he could immediately escape from that sensation as Woo-jin’s lips gently touched his.

Watching Woo-jin, who was falling with a small kiss, Jae-chan thought to himself that he really liked him.

He already liked him a lot, but… At this moment, he felt like he had crossed some sort of threshold. He could feel his chest tighten at the warmth in Woo-jin’s eyes alone.

Yet, he was extremely happy. The ripples that had been shaking gradually spread into a happy smile on Jae-chan’s face.

Woo-jin’s eyes widened at that flawless and bright smile, and he leaned in for another kiss. Jae-chan obediently parted his lips a bit more to make it easier for Woo-jin to deepen the kiss, silently resolving to himself:

He really has to do well.

It was out of the question to expect his heart to be reciprocated by such a kind man.

The two were merely sponsors and sexual partners. The better Woo-jin treated him, the more Jae-chan felt a sense of shame. He accepted his position and resolved to do his best for Woo-jin, staying true to his role.

And what progress it was. If his past self, who had struggled with unrequited love and barely managed to get through a one-night stand, could see him now, he would burst into tears of joy and pride.

    But he shouldn’t get greedy.

Jae-chan felt a sense of relief as he acknowledged his strengthened mindset. With this attitude, he was sure he could easily let go of Woo-jin when the time came.

Enthralled by Jae-chan’s brighter and happier smile than ever before, Woo-jin kissed him all over as if under a spell. Jae-chan burst into laughter at the ticklish sensation and playfully returned the kiss to Woo-jin’s handsome jawline. He lifted his heel slightly and kissed the eye that had never been hurt and would never be hurt again.

“I’m going to go wash up.”

Woo-jin was the first to protest.

    “You’ve washed.”

“After that mess in the bathroom earlier.”

Nevertheless, Woo-jin’s forearms tightly wrapped around his waist did not let go. Jae-chan said soothingly, thinking that this guy likes skinship more than he thought.

    “I’ll do anything you want.”

Those were the words Woo-jin had assured him of a few hours ago in the lounge. Only now did his grip, which had been tight, loosen.

Woo-jin decided to use the outside bathroom and Jae-chan used the inside bathroom. Jae-chan couldn’t take his eyes off the bouquet placed on one side of the bed. He covered his embarrassingly flushed face with his hand and headed to the bathroom.

As he soaked in the luxurious bathtub, enjoying the magnificent view, he couldn’t help but let out a silly laugh. It was because it was so typically Woo-jin to put this much effort even into a sex partner.

    ‘Let’s avoid guiding.’

He washed the bubbles away as he reminded himself of what he should be careful about in their relationship. He knew for sure that Woo-jin would be flustered if even a hint of tender feelings beyond pleasure came through guiding. He would feel burdened.

As long as he was careful about that, he could rightfully claim his time with Woo-jin based on their contract. Jae-chan took a deep breath of the refreshing cologne scent that filled the bathroom and took a deep breath.

When he came out wearing a gown, Woo-jin was already sitting on the bed as if he had just finished showering.

Jae-chan’s feet, wrapped in soft slippers, paused when he spotted him.

With wet hair, Woo-jin reached out his long arms to rearrange the bouquet of flowers. Stacks of neatly arranged petals were visible on one side. His cheeks were as red as the flowers, and he wanted to kiss them right away.

The two people’s eyes met awkwardly across the wide space. Jae-chan felt extremely nervous, but as soon as he realized that Woo-jin was even more awkward, he felt a slight sense of relief.

“Aren’t you going to take it off?”

    He approached and asked.

“Shall I take it off first?”

Jae-chan chuckled and loosely untied the knot on the gown’s strap. He began to casually take off the gown.

Even though only a small part of it was revealed, Woo-jin looked away without knowing where to look. Nevertheless, the body exposed under the soft light seemed to be fixed in his mind. Jae-chan looked very good without clothes.

… Was that why Han Tae-hoon made such a ridiculous suggestion?

Of course, he has not yet received a single report from the follower that Jae-chan spent the night with someone else. Just thinking about receiving such a report made Woo-jin feel like hot soot was burning his chest.

But the dizzying thoughts soon evaporated and disappeared.

Jae-chan, now completely naked, sat in front of him with a fresh step. His lower body was covered lightly by the discarded gown. The same shampoo scent wafted gently around him.

    “…”

Woo-jin couldn’t take his eyes off the fragrant body that was within his arm’s reach.

From his well-defined shoulders, chest, and abdomen to his stretched-out thighs and calves, there was an abundance of freshness and elasticity. Even the parts covered by the gown aroused curiosity. Suddenly, Woo-jin recalled the reports of Jae-chan jogging every morning without fail.

“Am I really the only one taking it off?”

Jae-chan asked, narrowing his eyes weakly. Woo-jin’s face heated up at those mischievous words. He also began to take off his gown.

Jae-chan couldn’t tear his gaze away from Woo-jin either. The blush tinting his cheeks was too beautiful. His calm, deep-set eyes, his long and thick neck, his sturdy shoulders, and his broad chest were all on display.

For some reason, Woo-jin seemed even more imposing than when he was clothed. Jae-chan couldn’t help but burst out in admiration as he saw the muscles that had been perfectly trained through long hours of training and actual combat.

    “Woo-jin, you’re really beautiful.”

Jae-chan’s eyes sparkled. It was an involuntary admiration that just welled up on its own, so much so that he didn’t even know what he was saying. Startled yet pleased by the praise-like tone, Woo-jin pushed the gown aside. Jae-chan’s voice continued.

    “Truly beautiful.”

You’re even more beautiful. Woo-jin inwardly rebutted, exhaling the long-held breath he had been holding. Then he approached Jae-chan directly. He hadn’t realized how much he wanted to get closer since earlier.

Jae-chan, who was surprised by the shadow falling in front of him, immediately burst into laughter.

It was because of Woo-jin pulling him close. Woo-jin hugged him tightly and kissed the small spot on his cheek. The kiss continued on his clean neckline that always caught his gaze, then on his straight, stretched-out shoulders.

Closing his eyes tightly at the ticklish kisses on his neck and shoulders, Jae-chan burst into laughter again. Woo-jin felt strange seeing Jae-chan wearing underwear under the gown, but it felt so much like him.

    ‘Huh, what’s that?’

Jae-chan’s eyes widened as he stared at the almost black-gray briefs. What was inside the underwear? His eyes twitched with a strange feeling.

    And…

    That was it.

    “…?”

Jae-chan, who had been receiving kisses only on his neck, suddenly turned to look at Woo-jin. He could only see Woo-jin’s long eyelashes blinking awkwardly, unable to go further down from his shoulders.

    Why was he so awkward?

Was it because he was with a man? Or not…

Jae-chan narrowed his eyes and tilted his head slightly. As he kissed the jet-black hair that tickled the tip of his nose and pressed his lips to Woo-jin’s temple, he caught Woo-jin’s hesitant gaze.

Locking eyes with him, Jae-chan scattered butterfly kisses here and there. Unable to tear his gaze away, Woo-jin followed along eagerly, kissing his beautiful eyebrows, calm eyes, and the cheeks near his lips. Jae-chan, feeling a little embarrassed by the gaze that was following him closely, lightly pressed his lips against Woo-jin’s lips. Then Woo-jin initiated a kiss, intertwining their tongues assertively in response.

He’s a very good kisser. Unlike before, when there was no progress, the angle was skillfully reversed. Jae-chan couldn’t help but briefly marvel at the electrifying sensation pulsating in his mouth, but then he harbored doubts. Come to think of it, Woo-jin really was just good at kissing.

    “Have you only ever kissed?”

He blurted out what came to mind without filtering his thoughts.
