Dawnlight
In a time of chaos caused by monster invasions, Ha-gyeom, who has manifested as a guide, is kidnapped to one of the rebuilt cities, Zone 0. There, he loses his family and is on the brink of becoming a resource rather than a person. However, he is rescued by Baek Seung-woo, an Esper from the central center, gaining a new lease on life.
“My name is… Baek Seung-woo. I’m nineteen years old.”
Thanks to Baek Seung-woo’s dedication and efforts over the years, Ha-gyeom transforms into a respectable trainee. Although he always thought of Baek Seung-woo as a close brother, ever since overhearing a conversation, he starts feeling feverish and his heart begins to race.
“Ha-gyeom is like my beginner’s spirit. I must never lose him.”
Nurturing these hidden feelings, Ha-gyeom falls into despair again when Baek Seung-woo goes missing during a secret mission.
Training and waiting for his return for five years, Ha-gyeom turns twenty and has been guiding for a year. However, without a highly compatible Esper at the center, he is unable to fully utilize his abilities.
Then, he finally gets the opportunity to participate in a mission in Zone 0 and hears unexpected news upon his return.
“Matching rate 99 percent!”
In a place where a matching rate below 50 percent is considered a curse, around 70 percent is average, and above 80 percent is seen as divine luck, a rate of 99 percent is unheard of!
To make matters worse, Ha-gyeom faces a situation where he must forcibly guide an out-of-control Esper in Zone 0. Confronted by a familiar silhouette in the darkness, Ha-gyeom is shocked beyond belief.
