    Chapter Index

Tae Seong-je’s subordinates all looked intimidating, but it was mostly because of this person that I stopped being surprised by their outward appearance. Although he appeared to be over 40, he was actually younger than Tae Seong-je, and despite being told not to speak to me, he still responded, showing a certain level of naivety and innocence. I wasn’t in a position to make such remarks, even though I enjoyed talking with him.

“I thought there would be a lot of people wearing gold necklaces or flashy shirts. It’s a bit surprising that I haven’t seen anyone like that.”

“Clothing, well, we were not restricted before, but Hyung-nim started to dislike it recently because we were looking a little lousy…”

Mr. shoulders trailed off as he spoke, and suddenly he smiled sheepishly.

“Actually, with our appearances and physique, we tend to stand out, don’t we? There are many eyes watching us and it looks better when we dress neatly.”

    “Ah.”

Still, it seemed a bit stifling to button it up all the way. As I looked at the buttons fastened tightly like a priest, someone tried to come out again but went back in. I felt a little sympathetic. I didn’t do anything, but it would be unfair to be misunderstood. When I thought of Woo Ji-min, even the man with the dark circles and crazy-looking face seemed pitiful. They all kept their mouths shut, so the atmosphere was cold, but after learning about their hardships, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for them.

“Stay strong even if it’s tough…”

“You’re not listening to me again.”

Bad timing. Tae Seong-je, who happened to be coming out, overheard my conversation with Mr. shoulder and frowned.

    “I’m sorry.”

    “I apologize.”

He waved his finger at me with a nervous expression on his face as he looked at the row of apples. My legs moved before my head rolled. As I got closer, he gently stroked the back of my head.

“I didn’t even call you, so why.”

    “Hyung-nim, that’s…”

The silent man, who had been patiently waiting for Tae Seong-je to finish speaking, significantly lowered his voice. Although his expression didn’t change, I felt like the atmosphere around him had somehow changed. Tae Seong-je had always had a dangerous air about him, but he seemed even more dangerous with the rough and fierce-looking men on either side of him.

Still, his serious appearance was quite attractive. I felt like I heard Park Kang-woo screaming somewhere, asking if I was crazy. Nonetheless, the sight was truly breathtaking… Perhaps it’s natural for appreciative thoughts to arise? When I arrived at the door, I noticed that the man who was supposed to come in with me hadn’t entered.

    “Why aren’t you coming in?”

When I turned around, Tae Seong-je was just staring at me from outside the entrance, which was a bit strange at first. But I had been so attached to him that I had almost forgotten that he was the kind of person who would do this.

“Do you have to go? Have a safe trip.”

    “…”

It’s been a while since I’ve been alone. It would be the same for him too. Realizing that there was no response, I couldn’t help but look a bit awkward. I had told him not to make me wait, but it didn’t mean I shouldn’t wait for even a moment.

When the counselor suggested that I might have separation anxiety, I couldn’t deny it. Now that I had accepted that this was my reality and sorted out my thoughts, I had developed a definite dependence on him. No matter how much of a lover we were, relying on someone to alleviate loneliness wasn’t healthy.

So, I tried to gather my thoughts and make an effort… but somehow I feel like counseling was a wake-up call for me.

“Are you really okay being alone?”

“It’s okay. I’ll be studying, so go ahead.”

“What are you studying? Do it next time and take a good rest now.”

“Because I need to study, or else hyung will be in deep trouble…”

I felt like he was being overly concerned, so I tried to tease him playfully.

“Your job is not stable. Who knows when it will fail? If that happens, then I’ll have to support you, so I need to be prepared.”

    “E-ehem.”

I made a casual remark to his puzzled face and heard a strange murmur behind his back. Tae Seong-je’s subordinates might have initially taken my words as a joke, but they seemed to realize that I was speaking sincerely, and they fidgeted awkwardly.

“It’s not easy when someone who’s used to spending money suddenly faces financial difficulties.”

“Why are you suddenly worried about that?”

I was about to respond with a smile when I hesitated for a moment. I almost said, “Hyung, have you ever thought about trying a different job?” It would have been a strange thing to say.

Even though I wanted to mess up the plot for a change, I knew he was doing what he loved right now… No matter how much I wanted him to do something more respectable, it was my own selfish desire. Demanding such a thing was out of place, so I decided to restrain myself.

“Just… Don’t forget that I’m here even if you fail.”

    “That’s quite reassuring.”

“Even if it really goes downhill, don’t be too disappointed.”

“…Are you secretly doing something behind my back?”

I just smiled as I couldn’t say that he would fail in part 2 even without my interference. After all, it wouldn’t happen as long as he didn’t intend to take revenge on Kang Moo-hyun’s grandfather.

“You can use my pension for your retirement, and I won’t mind if you spend as much as you normally do, just make sure you keep a proper household account.”

“Ha, there’s no end to your talk.”

He laughed heartily at my confident tone as if he’d heard a genuinely amusing joke. It was a rare sight to see such a bright expression from him. Since my collapse, the atmosphere had been tense, so it was a relief to see him in such high spirits.

“You still don’t believe me, do you? I’m serious.”

    “I know.”

My eyes widened at the surprisingly affectionate voice. No, he’s always a kind person, but just now… I just blinked in embarrassment. He strode into the room. I could smell my favorite perfume.

    “Hmm!”

He pulled the door so close that I almost think he closed it, came in, and cupped my cheek. His lips brushed against mine, and when his tongue lightly licked my lips, my legs suddenly tensed. His soft kisses were tantalizing, and my eyes trembled with the sensation.

My body temperature rose sharply as a result of the wetness of the soft tongue and the mere brushing sensation. I hadn’t even applied sugar to my lips, but he kept licking them, and the sensation spread all the way down to my waist, causing my knees to wobble. I didn’t know why I was suddenly feeling this way, but I got so excited that I couldn’t hold back any longer. I opened my mouth and sucked greedily on his tongue.

It was a kiss in which our tongues intertwined, entangled, and pulled each other to the point where the roots tingled. It was a heated exchange, filled with tangled breaths and the obscene sounds of nibbling and sucking. I could feel someone coming through the door, but since I couldn’t see them, I felt like I was doing something naughty in secret.

    “Uh…uhm. ”

As we passionately kissed, stifled moans escaped his lips. Our saliva intertwined and hung in long strands before finally breaking apart. We held each other tightly, swallowing and releasing each other’s ragged breaths.

“Don’t overexert yourself and take a break.”

His voice was lower and rougher than usual as he sucked my lips persistently. I couldn’t resist the seductive sound of his voice brushing against my ears, so I stopped breathing heavily. I felt something in his voice and eyes that made me feel treacherous.

Hyung, do it with me now.

I licked my wet lips, then nodded silently. What was I thinking? Was I really this horny? Ah, my mouth felt strange, as if it had been burned. I finally let out the breath I’d been holding when his well-built figure, covered in just a light summer shirt, disappeared beyond the door

I walked unsteadily to the desk and put my bag down on the floor. I closed my legs and roughly rubbed my hot face to cool it down. However, my cold hands felt warmer because of the warm body temperature. I looked down and checked my front. I got hard.

Fuck, the horniness was on my side. But why just me? I crossed my arms over my desk and dropped my head in frustration. My mind had been so preoccupied since entering this world that I hadn’t even thought about masturbating… As my head becomes empty, my sexual desires seem to rise.

I’ll be alone for a while. Should I study after doing it once?

My gaze naturally shifted to the box of tissues on the desk. I always kept tissues in the same place in case I got nosebleeds, but I hadn’t need them this month. I guess it was because my mood hadn’t really hit rock bottom.

It felt strange when the nosebleeds stopped… At that time, my eyelids began to feel heavy again, perhaps because of the medicine. Ah, no. I’m getting sleepy again. Trying to overpower my surging desire, I blinked my eyes and tried to stay awake. But just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard a clear voice.

    “It won’t work.”

I opened my eyes to the clear voice and saw Tae Seong-je right in front of my nose. I looked at him half-asleeply and looked at the time. I wondered how much time had passed already. But it hadn’t been more than ten minutes.

    What… what’s going on?”

He hugged me as if to support me and took my bag. As I started to walk out the door, I saw Mr. shoulder, who was carrying a pillow and a thin blanket and had a puzzled expression on his face.

“Stay in the car. Since we’re just going to talk anyway, it’ll be over soon. You can rest in the car. Let’s eat dinner outside.”

    “What? No.”

What is this… I took the elevator down to the first floor and was dazed until I got into the car.
