MWMM Chapter 67: Shouldn’t We Get Some Exercise?
by justmistyAfter being “kindly” escorted into the elevator by his classmates, Yan Yuzhou was sent straight to the floor where the CEO’s office was located. Pouting with a look of reluctance, he stepped out, glancing left and right. Just then, a man in a well-tailored suit approached with a warm smile.
“Good day, Madam. I’m Liang Xin, President Shen’s assistant. He is waiting for you in his office.” Liang Xin gave Yan Yuzhou a respectful bow before gesturing politely for him to proceed.
Yan Yuzhou smiled back at Liang Xin, thanked him, and lifted his foot toward the direction indicated. As he walked, he silently prayed in his heart, ‘Dear heavens, please let Shen Ci remain human…’
Then, as if the heavens had completely ignored his plea, the office door was suddenly pulled open from the inside. Standing right there at the doorway was none other than the man he had been praying about. Yan Yuzhou froze mid-step and instinctively took a step back. Shen Ci took note of his tiny retreat, his gaze darkening slightly. The next second, he extended his long arm, pulling the little runaway straight into his embrace. Under the watchful (scratch that—entertained) gaze of Assistant Liang Xin, Shen Ci slammed the door shut with a loud bang.
Yan Yuzhou felt his whole body tense up. Shen Ci’s embrace was still as warm and reassuring as ever, but the moment he thought about his chrysanthemum being in danger, cold sweat broke out all over him. After all, rumor had it that “that” hurt like hell.
Suddenly, Shen Ci’s teasing voice sounded beside his ear. “What are you standing there frozen for? Worked all morning, aren’t you hungry?”
Only then did Yan Yuzhou snap back to reality. Following Shen Ci’s gaze, he noticed a few exquisite dishes set on the coffee table—each one looking mouthwateringly delicious. He swallowed hard, and his appetite instantly took over, pushing aside all thoughts of Shen Ci’s predatory gaze. He wriggled out of Shen Ci’s arms and bounced over to the coffee table, sitting down eagerly. Flashing a sweet smile, he said, “Thank you, Mr. Shen.”
Shen Ci indulged him with a doting gaze and took a seat across from him. The two quietly enjoyed a peaceful lunch together in the office.
With his stomach full and his heart content, Yan Yuzhou felt like life couldn’t be better. He patted his slightly rounded belly, got up, and wandered around the office a few times before heading to the floor-to-ceiling window to admire the view. Once he had taken in enough of the scenery, he turned around—only to crash straight into a firm, solid chest.
Shen Ci had, at some point, been standing right behind him.
“Uh…” Yan Yuzhou rubbed his sore nose, attempting to back away, but the firm grip around his waist stopped him. Shen Ci’s arm was wrapped tightly around him like an iron band, leaving him no room to escape.
“Mr. Shen…”
“Zhouzhou,” Shen Ci’s eyes burned with intensity, as if a fire was raging within them. “Now that you’re full, shouldn’t we get some exercise?”
Sensing that he truly wouldn’t be able to escape this time, Yan Yuzhou’s voice carried an instinctual struggle as he racked his brain for an excuse. “Well… you can’t exercise right after eating, you know…”
“Oh…” Shen Ci seemed to consider this for a moment. Then, with a devilish smirk, he nodded. “You’re right, Zhouzhou. That’s why you don’t need to move. Husband will do all the work.”
“Ah—” In his heart, Yan Yuzhou let out a desperate groundhog screech.
[Pulling a Long, Long Curtain]
Three hours later, the door to the CEO’s office on the 20th floor of Deep Sea Tower was opened. The ever-efficient and unsmiling President Shen stepped out, taking the elevator down to the first floor. At the same time, he was carrying a young man in his arms.
The young man nestled in President Shen’s embrace, wrapped tightly in the CEO’s custom-tailored coat. The coat covered him so thoroughly that even half of his face was concealed, leaving only a pair of bright, expressive eyes peeking out—eyes as pure and innocent as a fawn’s.
Wherever President Shen passed with the person in his arms, he left behind a trail of crushed peach blossoms in the spring mud—fragrant, decadent, and heartbreaking to behold.
He was holding the person in his arms with extreme care. He whispered something to the young man in a gentle tone that no one in the company had ever witnessed before.
Special Assistant Liang Xin had already been waiting in the lobby on the first floor. Seeing President Shen approaching, he immediately bowed respectfully and reported, “President Shen, the car has been prepared for Madam.”
Everyone: !!!
Madam?!
The one being carefully cradled in President Shen’s arms like a treasure—was that the legendary CEO’s spouse?!
Honestly speaking, seeing President Shen like this… he totally looked like a doting husband-slave~
The “completely defiled” Yan Yuzhou still hadn’t recovered from the lingering sensation that had lasted several hours, even after being carried into the car by Shen Ci. Thinking about everything that had happened in the office, the countless stares he received along the way, and the fact that he even spotted his classmates among the onlookers… he felt like he had just lost all the dignity he had built over the past twenty-something years.
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Shen Ci was too evil! He had deliberately chosen the CEO’s office as the location and picked today—when all his classmates were visiting Chiyu Entertainment—to thoroughly mark him, ensuring that not only the entire company but also his classmates bore witness to this utterly shameful moment!
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Although, to be fair, the entire process didn’t hurt at all… On the contrary, it had felt insanely good.
But still…
How was he supposed to face anyone after this?!
Just thinking about it made his already blushing face flush an even deeper shade of red from sheer mortification.
“What’s wrong?”
Shen Ci’s ridiculously pleasant voice sounded beside his ear. Noticing his odd behavior, Shen Ci pulled him gently into his arms and asked in a low voice.
“Hmph.” Yan Yuzhou pushed him away, scooting as close to the car window as possible to put distance between them. Huffing in frustration, he began his righteous condemnation: “You big jerk! Inhuman scoundrel! Shameless pervert!”
Shen Ci watched as Yan Yuzhou, looking thoroughly bullied, fumed with shame and indignation. The sight reminded him of what had just happened in the office, and he couldn’t help but find it amusing. He spoke in an unhurried tone, “Oh? Zhouzhou, you’re not tired? You still have the energy to scold me?”
He then slowly leaned in closer and whispered into his ear, “If Zhouzhou still has the strength, why don’t we continue in the car—”
“NO!”
Yan Yuzhou cut him off in alarm, his gaze flickering nervously toward the driver ahead—Xiao Wang, who was currently experiencing temporary deafness for the sake of his job. Noticing that Xiao Wang remained focused on driving without any sign of reaction, Yan Yuzhou let out a small breath of relief. Then, he turned back to glare at the shameless man beside him, lowering his voice in warning: “Keep your voice down! Your driver can hear you!”
“Oh?” Shen Ci raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a satisfied smirk. “So Zhouzhou is worried about being overheard?”
Before Yan Yuzhou could refute him, Shen Ci’s expression shifted, and he suddenly called out to the front, “Xiao Wang, raise the partition.”
“Yes, sir.” Xiao Wang responded respectfully. With one hand on the steering wheel, he pressed a button with the other, causing the partition between the front and back seats to rise. He continued driving as if nothing had happened.
Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Yan Yuzhou was completely defeated by Shen Ci’s brazen maneuver.
With the partition up, the backseat was now completely isolated from the front.
Shen Ci’s lips quirked up slightly as he slowly closed the distance between them. Watching the little figure who was now on full alert, he murmured with a devilish grin, “Baby, you don’t have to keep your voice down now. No one but me can hear you.”
What the hell?! What kind of beastly words were those?!
How was he supposed to live like this?!
