MWMM Chapter 86: My Wife’s Not Obedient
by justmisty“Who else could I have learned it from if not you?”
Shen Ci gritted his teeth as he spoke, then strode forward and hoisted his delicate little wife over his shoulder without another word.
Yan Yuzhou let out a soft cry, his legs pretending to struggle a bit, but his body honestly leaned into Shen Ci’s embrace. He batted his eyes flirtatiously and purred, “Hubby, be gentle~”
Inside the room, Su Xintang watched as Shen Ci domineeringly carried Yan Yuzhou away without a second of hesitation. Her worldview was utterly shaken—thunder roared in her mind. She never imagined that the cold and abstinent Shen Ci she knew could turn into a… hungry wolf after marriage?!
Back in their room, Shen Ci threw the wild, uncontrollable Yan Yuzhou onto the bed, turned off the lights with an annoyed huff, climbed into bed, and pulled him into his arms. The corners of his mouth curved slightly in satisfaction as he smiled.
His little one really knew how to assert dominance in front of Su Xintang. That calm, effortless display of prowess was just too endearing.
Thinking this, Shen Ci tightened his hold on his delicate wife, burying his face in his neck and taking a deep breath.
Mmm, the rich scent of roses—today’s dose of contentment.
In the dark, Yan Yuzhou let Shen Ci hold him quietly, then suddenly asked, “Do you like this scent, hubby?”
Shen Ci smiled indulgently, savoring the moment. “I love it to death.”
The person in his arms hesitated, his voice trembling slightly as he asked, “Then… do you like the scent of roses more, or the scent of Su Xintang more?”
That question made Shen Ci frown in the darkness, his arms tightening slightly. What kind of question was that? What did Su Xintang have to do with anything right now?
“Of course, it’s yours,” Shen Ci answered without hesitation, his tone warm and reassuring.
Hearing that, Yan Yuzhou felt a pang in his heart. He snuggled a little closer into Shen Ci’s embrace and murmured, “But… your compatibility score with Miss Su is eighty percent…”
Hearing that, Shen Ci suddenly started to understand what had been weighing on Yan Yuzhou’s mind these past few days—how he would occasionally zone out alone, looking downcast. So this little thing still minded the compatibility score between him and Su Xintang. Yan Yuzhou’s words pricked at his heart like a gentle poke, stirring up a wave of tenderness. In the darkness, he pulled the little one in his arms even closer and let out a helpless chuckle.
“Zhouzhou,” he said, his voice carrying a comforting warmth, “this whole compatibility score thing—it’s always been just a supporting factor. When we first got our marriage license, we didn’t have any emotional foundation, so compatibility helped speed things up. But once we’ve confirmed our feelings for each other, compatibility becomes nothing more than a nice bonus. Sure, a high score is great, but even without it, it doesn’t really matter. Don’t you think?”
After speaking, Shen Ci planted a loud kiss on Yan Yuzhou’s cheek, then chuckled softly, “Be good. No more overthinking.”
Yan Yuzhou stayed quiet for a moment, then let out a soft “mm” as if half-understanding. But after a moment of hesitation, he mumbled, “But… don’t alphas have something like a susceptibility period or whatever? That day in your office’s break room, I saw you taking that kind of medicine…”
His voice trailed off, his mood clearly sinking again. He subtly shifted away from Shen Ci and sniffled, “If you’re really uncomfortable and want to ask Miss Su to help out temporarily, I wouldn’t mind…”
Shen Ci: …This is the first time I’ve met an omega who’s actually trying to push his own husband into someone else’s arms. Damn, he really makes a man want to properly educate him…
With that thought, Shen Ci flipped over and pinned his retreating little wife beneath him in one swift motion, pressing his wrists above his head in a commanding, dominant stance. Bathed in the moonlight coming through the window, he didn’t miss the sparkles in his eyes—tears.
Oh, trying to push his alpha away with one hand while silently crying with the other. It really made his teeth itch in frustration.
Shen Ci’s lips twitched, and in the next second, he flipped the little one over right on the bed. Accompanied by a startled yelp, Yan Yuzhou, who had been facing him a moment ago, now had his back completely to him. He was totally stunned by the sudden movement, and even the tears welling up in his eyes were instantly held back.
“S-Shen Ci,” Yan Yuzhou stammered nervously, “…what are you doing?”
Shen Ci leaned in close behind him, his breath deliberately brushing against his gland, causing goosebumps to ripple across his skin. Then, in a low, wicked voice, he said—
“When a wife isn’t obedient, he needs to be… disciplined.”
Before Yan Yuzhou could respond, he suddenly felt his pajama pants yanked down hard, followed by a cold hand landing on him. His body shivered instinctively.
The next moment, a sharp smack rang out, and a fiery sting exploded across his rear. Realizing what just happened, his cheeks flushed instantly, and he mentally cursed up a storm.
Shen Ci actually—spanked him.
“Shen Ci, let go of me!” Yan Yuzhou shouted. He considered himself a dignified man. Sure, he’d been chased around and smacked as a kid for being naughty, but never again had he suffered such humiliation. This—this was a disgrace to his manly pride!
With that in mind, he began to struggle fiercely.
But Shen Ci had anticipated it. He pinned the smaller body down with force, leaving Yan Yuzhou completely immobilized. Then, to the accompaniment of a few pitiful cries, that shameful spot received several more crisp pah pah pah spanks.
Well damn, there went the last shreds of his manly dignity.
“Let go of you?” Shen Ci sneered, his tone icy and merciless. With each word, his hand landed another sharp smack. “If you ever say something like ‘go find another person’ again—I’ll give you the full family punishment.”
Yan Yuzhou let out a string of yelps, his eyes that had just dried welling up with tears all over again. He cried out in surrender, “I was wrong, I was wrong, I was so wrong! I won’t say that ever again, okay?!”
Hearing the little thing admit fault so sincerely, Shen Ci let out a quiet chuckle. The hand he had raised paused midair, then dropped gently. He reached forward and wrapped his now-thoroughly-disciplined little wife into a snug embrace, his tone a mix of skepticism and affection. “Really?”
Yan Yuzhou, now with one hand finally free, instantly clutched his sore behind and nodded frantically. “Really really really! Truer than pure gold!”
That made Shen Ci chuckle again. He finally released him completely and gave a half-exasperated scold, “As long as you know you were wrong.”
Then, reaching out to pull his little wife back into his arms, he didn’t expect what came next.
The moment Yan Yuzhou regained his freedom, he shot out from under Shen Ci like a fish slipping out of a net. Before Shen Ci could react, he had already leapt off the bed and dashed straight for the bedroom door.
A jingle of keys followed. When Shen Ci turned on the bedside lamp, he saw his omega standing at the door with puffed-up cheeks and a triumphant expression. A keyring dangled smugly from his finger.
“You dare commit domestic violence against me? This young master is sleeping in his own room tonight. Enjoy your cold, empty bed!”
Then he waggled the keys for extra flair. “Spare key? This young master is taking it with me!”
With that, before Shen Ci’s face could darken completely, Yan Yuzhou bolted out of the room in a flash.
Shen Ci (utterly defeated): Never thought there’d come a day when I would be the one getting kicked into a separate bedroom by my wife…
