Liev felt like he was losing his mind and quickly regained his sanity to ask,

“So, with what happened yesterday? Is that even a possibility?”

He had never once thought about becoming the one who gives birth to a child in his lifetime, so he was completely taken aback, but for now, that was the most important thing. He would try his best to avoid any future events like this, but if it had already happened, there was nothing he could do. When Liev urgently asked, Renard blinked a few times and answered.

“What do you think of me? I can’t force you on my own, Liev has to agree to accept the seed. And if Liev doesn’t allow it, I won’t.”

Liev was relieved by the surprisingly rational answer. It wasn’t something that could be done without his own will. He felt uneasy about believing in a guy who speaks nonsense from time to time, but I didn’t think Renard would lie about something like this.

Because if something like that were to happen, he knows better than anyone else that he would never forgive him. Renard feared being hated by him the most. He also never forced anything that he truly disliked. As long as he could be sure of those two things, Renard wouldn’t deceive him and let him have a child. Liev still couldn’t say anything as his mind was still blank, and Renard suddenly spoke first.

“Anyway, the more children, the better, so we should have three. I can wait as long as you want, but I want to see Liev again soon.”

What is Renard’s declaration? He was saying something so calmly, like, “I want to have lamb stew for dinner tonight!” It was impossible for Liev to be carefree about it. He immediately rejected it.

“Don’t say weird things! I-I can’t do that kind of thing!”

Giving birth to a child was a scary thing, but he also didn’t want Renard to wait for a long time because of him. Even if he lived out his human lifespan without getting sick, he would only live for about eighty years. And at that point, he might spend his last moments not even recognizing who the person in front of him was.

Does he have to wait for a much longer time for the person he could only spend a short time with? That was too much for Renard. Liev couldn’t bear to see Renard go through such a difficult time alone. How can he explain this without hurting Renard? While Liev was contemplating, Renard asked.

    “Why?”

“Why what? I don’t want you to wait for me for such a long time.”

Liev’s response was very blunt, causing Liev to immediately frown.

“I’m the one waiting. It’s not like Liev suffering, so why don’t you like it?”

Liev immediately got angry at that response.

“All I want is for you to be happier, I don’t want you to wait that long!”

    “……”

Renard’s mouth protruded in real time like a duck’s snout. Liev reflexively almost laughed because his mouth was so quirky and cute, but he succeeded in restraining himself. At least he stopped himself, but did he understand? As Liev held his breath and observed Renard’s reaction, Renard spoke again with a face full of discontent.

“Do you think I’ll be lonely?”

    “Um…what?”

Liev wondered what to say and was mentally thinking about what to say to persuade him. He couldn’t believe his ears when a sentence that wasn’t on the prepared question list suddenly popped up, making him doubt his ears.

“Why do you think I’ll be lonely?”

Renard’s face seemed to show that he really didn’t understand, but his face looked like he really understood. Liev doubted his ears for a moment and then replied.

“That’s because you only want to be with me.”

That didn’t seem like a good enough explanation. As Liev muttered without confidence, Renard snorted.

“Liev said to me. I have to know how to get along with other people, not just Liev. I will do as Liev wishes, as long as Liev leaves me for a while. Just like how I stayed with Sigrid and the other guys, I’ll hang out with them and help them out. When Liev comes back, he will just be with me. Then it’s done, right?”

With that explanation, Liev felt like he had been hit in the head. Even if Renard does not wait for him, he will have to live a long time ahead. His heart seemed to be squeezed by his confident answer that he would hang out with other people while he was away and that he would monopolize him when he returned.

    “That… still…”

Even though it seemed plausible on the surface, it could be different when the time comes. On one or more occasions, he didn’t care about other guys and reacted coldly to them because he wasn’t really interested in them. But could Renard really do that? For a moment, Liev doubted first and then remembered how Renard had resolved the ghost disturbance.

Instead of explaining and asking what to do, he intervened in the problem between the dragon and the human. Of course, after that, he argued with Lindgren about the situation, but something must have happened. In any case, Renard did not turn a blind eye to the problems of the two pitiful sisters and helped solve them.

Then what is he so worried about? Liev thought it was frustrating, even though he could not come up with an answer.

“You always want to be with me, so don’t act so confident.”

    Then Renard immediately shot back.

“I don’t understand Liev. Don’t you want to see me again? Do I bother you that much?”

    “That’s not true!”

Liev suddenly thought of the time when he had to abandon 10-year-old Renard in the Impassable Forest and shout angrily. Even though he knew it was a lie. When he rejected the question that hurt him, Renard interrupted him again.

“Then why do you choose to be separated forever instead of eventually seeing each other again?”

That… Liev was blank, as he didn’t know what excuse to make again. He couldn’t find any words to dissuade Renard. Taking advantage of the moment, Renard proudly added,

“You should have realized it from the moment you saved me. Liev, you can never escape from me. You know my lifespan is very long, right? If you’re thinking of running away again, it’s already too late.”

Then, as if to tell Liev not to look anywhere else, Renard cupped Liev’s checks with his palms and made him face him. Liev’s cheeks burned at the sight of Renard’s confident face as he looked at him. While he kept making excuses and avoiding things, Renard always took a step forward and came back to him after making a decision.

Could Renard really not be lonely while waiting for him? Wouldn’t it be better for him to forget about someone like himself and instead be with others who had similar life spans or extraordinary abilities? All those foolish thoughts disappeared the moment he made eye contact with those eyes filled with confidence.

Forgetting about all his worries, it was somewhat comforting to speak honestly. Renard promised to always be with him until he died, even after death and reincarnation., so that he was no longer alone.

    “….”

Liev, who had blushed without realizing it, almost fell for Renard’s persuasion and barely regained his senses. Isn’t it true that the premise of all their plans was that he had to lay an egg himself? He can’t really handle that. He thought he would always be childless and then suddenly have three children in his life. It was an insane idea.

    Crunch.

They heard a noise coming from the bushes in the distance.

    “Oh no.”

Liev was startled and looked in the direction of the noise, but Renard glared at him fiercely.

“Liev, what I have said so far…”

But that wasn’t important right now. Liev quickly silenced Renard by placing his finger over his lips.
