“Stay still. Don’t push yourself too hard and leave everything to me.”

    “Haa…”

What do you mean by “leave everything to me”? Liev wanted to complain, but considering he was helping take the magic crystal out from his body, it was hard to refuse. There was no other way to resolve this difficult situation without Renard’s help.

It would be terrible, not to mention impossible, to think of vomiting something the size of a baseball. He didn’t want to do this either. But other than that…

“Why do you say egg? Don’t use strange words!’”

Liev mustered all his remaining strength to utter the most important sentence. Startled by Liev’s urgency, Renard tilted his head and replied as if he thought it was a logical conclusion.

“It’s obvious, right? It’s the fruit of our love, and what grows inside you comes from me. It’s like an egg, even though it’s lifeless, isn’t it similar?”

    Liev retorted in horror,

“Don’t talk nonsense! It’s making me feel weird!”

But Renard continued with a serious explanation,

“But think about it. Liev, your race, naturally gives birth to fertilized eggs. Birds, lizards, and other species that aren’t mammals also lay eggs.”

Ah, there was a time when Liev gave such an explanation. It wasn’t specifically meant to be sex education for Renard, but rather he was curious while observing a group of birds in paradise, wondering why the birds maintained their colored feathers. This was the explanation he had given to Renard.

The male seduces the female with its beautiful appearance and nest, and when the female accepts the seduction, it lays the first infertile egg in the nest. After leaving the unfertilized egg unattended for a period of time, if it is not eaten by predators without the parents’ care, then the safety of the nest is acknowledged, and a real fertile egg is laid… something along those lines. Remembering the explanation Liev had given with enthusiasm, he felt embarrassed, and Renard hugged him tightly, saying,

“If you think something similar to that… I feel incredibly happy. It means Liev is willing to lay my egg.”

How can that be the same as this! Liev wanted to refute it immediately, but it was not completely deniable, so his face turned red instead. He felt betrayed by the possibility of doing something behind his back, but he didn’t have a strong dislike for the idea of having the child itself, so he was even more confused. He even wondered if Renard no longer wanted the child.

This was just a small accident caused by the characteristics of his body. The fact that birds of paradise lay unfertilized eggs for testing before laying fertilized eggs is simply a reproductive method engraved in their genes. Liev hid his flushed cheeks by burying his face in the pillow and shouting,

    “I don’t know, be quiet!”

Of course, as Renard had declared earlier, there was no way Renard would simply let Liev go.

    ***

The attempt that started like that continued throughout the week. Liev thought the act was an expulsion attempt, but Renard insisted it was an “egg”.

“It’s completely different, so stop calling it that!”

Even if Liev tried to refute it while still blushing, there was still no way it would get through to Renard. After several attempts, He felt something moving downward, little by little, and each time his body trembled. He hugged Renard with a feeling of pleasure that he could not get used to, even though he had experienced it countless times.

“Really, because my body is unnecessarily sensitive.”

If he had a slightly less sensitive body, he wouldn’t have been able to act this way. Watching him act as he pleased on the bed while fussing over everything else made his heart weak. Even though he knew for sure that what was inside Liev’s belly was not a living being but remnants of magic, he continued to please Liev so he wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

    “Ha….”

So if asked if he liked this lifestyle, the answer was definitely no. He was not familiar with being treated so carefully, and he liked the fact that their relationship with Renard was one where they grumbled bit by bit and fought over childish things as if they were only family and friends.

If you want to become a proper adult, it seems that much more time is needed, so it was best to quickly end this awkward situation.

    “Where are you right now?'”

Liev barely swallowed his meal, which was finely ground, like rice while suppressing his nausea. He quickly got up from his seat to place his tray on the dining table before Renard could prevent him again. Then, before Renard could come to escort him, he swiftly returned to the bed and sat down with a sigh. Renard furrowed his brow for a moment at the action that clearly showed Liev had taken care of it before he could offer help. He then approached Liev and placed his hand over his stomach.

“Is it here? It might come out soon.”

The point where his fingertips pressed firmly was just above the navel.

    “Ugh….”

Liev lightly bit his lip at the prickling sensation he felt again. The position had clearly shifted significantly lower compared to a few days ago. If he pushed a little further down from here, he thought that he might not have much longer until he could finally relieve himself, even if it meant some discomfort. Because the spot Renard touched was where Renard’s tip would barely brush when he penetrated deeply. If he could just get it out to that point, maybe he could remove it without any complications. Finally, determined, Liev declared to Renard.

    “Let’s definitely resolve this today.”

Whether it’s to kill or to eat, Liev intends to focus all his efforts today on resolving this to the best of his ability.

Renard’s chances of rejecting this proposal were close to 0%. It was non-existent.

But how? Just repeating what they had done so far wouldn’t make much difference. After hesitating for a moment, Liev said to Renard,

    “Today, I’ll take the top.”

He absolutely didn’t want to do this, but there was no other way. Despite initially trying to take the lead in their first attempt, it backfired and resulted in the opposite effect, so he didn’t want to try it again. However, considering the physical aspect, it seemed that coming down from the top to the bottom would be easier since gravity would have an impact.

Damn. Renard always calls it ‘top’, and I almost got swept up in it.

Liev regained his composure, and as he looked at Renard’s expression, Renard seemed momentarily flustered. Why? Didn’t he really like it before? Liev tilted his head, waiting for an explanation for Renard’s expression, and Renard, still with a bewildered face, said

“That… have you wanted to do that for a long time?”

What, why is he looking so serious? Liev raised an eyebrow and answered,

“Not really, but it just seems more efficient that way.”

Renard, surprised by Liev’s response, asked again.

    “How?”

“What do you mean, how? It’s just a natural truth that objects not affected by levitation magic fall from top to bottom.”

    “…..?”

    “…..?”

Why was there such a reaction? The misunderstanding that neither side understood would be resolved about 30 seconds later.
