MWMM Chapter 68: Get on Your Knees!
by justmistyAs the partition rose, Shen Ci glanced at Yan Yuzhou’s small, tense face and his awkward posture against the car window. He knew that he had been a bit too forceful in the office just now, making his little Omega uncomfortable. Seeing him looking so pitiful, how could he bear to touch him again?
With a light chuckle, Shen Ci gently rubbed Yan Yuzhou’s flushed little face. “Just teasing you. Look at how scared you are. I won’t touch you today—let’s talk about it tomorrow.”
Hearing this, Yan Yuzhou felt even more like crying. It was as if a big tiger on the African savanna had told a little spotted deer, ‘I’m just scaring you. I won’t eat you this time—I’ll eat you next time.’
Does this even sound like something a human would say???
With a soft huff, he turned his head away, staring out the window, refusing to look at Shen Ci. His lips mumbled complaints as he silently cursed all eighteen generations of Shen Ci’s ancestors.
Shen Ci held back his laughter, watching him quietly. He wasn’t upset at all. Instead, he sat there leisurely, an amused smile lingering at the corners of his lips as if savoring something.
When the driver, Xiao Wang, stopped the car at the villa entrance, Yan Yuzhou intended to open the door and get out first. But the moment his foot touched the ground, a wave of soreness spread through his thighs, making his legs go weak. He nearly collapsed.
Before he could react, Shen Ci had already moved swiftly, stepping out of the car in large strides to catch his soft, unsteady body.
Yan Yuzhou let himself be carried in Shen Ci’s arms, and then, right by his ear, came the man’s teasing yet indulgent voice:
“Be good. We agreed that only your husband does the moving.”
Just one sentence, and Yan Yuzhou, nestled in Shen Ci’s embrace, turned beet red once again.
Shen Ci carried him straight to their bedroom. The ever-experienced housekeeper, Sister Song, took one look at Yan Yuzhou’s bonelessly limp state and instantly understood, stifling a knowing chuckle. Thoughtfully, she went to prepare a nutritious meal to help replenish his strength.
Once dinner was ready, Sister Song walked to the bedroom door, just about to knock, when suddenly—
From inside came the Madam’s sharp voice:
“Shen Ci, get on your knees!”
Sister Song’s hand, raised mid-knock, froze instantly. Oh my, what’s going on with the Madam?
Before she could figure it out, a low chuckle sounded from inside the room.
“If my dear wife tells me to kneel, then kneel I shall. But baby, are you sure you don’t want me to apply some medicine for you first? Doesn’t it hurt? I just took a look—it’s already swollen.”
Even for someone as experienced as Sister Song, these words made her face heat up involuntarily. Goodness gracious, this Mr. Shen is too much…
Her hesitation about knocking on the door disappeared instantly. In moments like this, if she still went ahead and disturbed the master and madam’s ‘mood,’ she would really be lacking in awareness…
Without a second thought, she turned and left.
—
Inside the room, Yan Yuzhou’s eyes were slightly red. He lay sprawled on the bed, sniffling as he wiped his tears, yet still managed to roll his eyes viciously at the man kneeling on the floor.
And on the floor, a strikingly handsome Alpha, dressed in a white dress shirt and black trousers, knelt obediently. Though he maintained a proper, serious posture, the faint smile playing at the corners of his lips gave him away—this Alpha was in an exceptionally good mood.
Yan Yuzhou looked at Shen Ci, who was kneeling there obediently yet undoubtedly scheming countless wicked ideas in his mind. His anger still wouldn’t subside, so he pounded the bed repeatedly with his fists, pouting, his eyes brimming with tears.
“Wuwuwu, you bullied me! You bullied me because I’m weak and can’t fight back! You bullied me because I look good! You bullied me because I’m not an Alpha! Wuwuwu, you big scoundrel, big bastard, big pig trotter! I’m going to the court to sue you! I’ll sue you for domestic violence and have the court lock you up for a hundred years—never to be released… wuwuwu…”
In just a short while, Yan Yuzhou had turned the perfectly fine bedsheets into a mess of tears and snot. He was even slurring his words so much that “bully” (qīfù) came out as “qíhǔ.”
Shen Ci remained kneeling, listening to Yan Yuzhou’s wailing accusations. Though he found it amusing, his heart ached at the same time. He started to wonder if he had really gone overboard this afternoon, making this little thing resent him so much.
His heart softened completely, and there was no way he could keep kneeling anymore. Hurriedly getting up, he moved to the bedside and pulled the tear-streaked Omega into his arms, coaxing him gently, “Wife, don’t cry anymore. It’s all my fault. You can punish me however you want—even suing me is fine. Just please don’t cry anymore, alright?”
As he spoke, one hand gently stroked Yan Yuzhou’s back, soothing his sobs.
Once the little thing finally quieted down, Shen Ci pressed a tender kiss on the top of his head and murmured, “Baby, the court can lock me up for a hundred years if you want, but if that happens, our Zhouzhou won’t have a husband anymore.” Then, he added suggestively, “Would Zhouzhou be willing to let that happen?”
Yan Yuzhou fidgeted awkwardly in his arms for a while before finally sitting up and shooting him an exasperated glare. The two of them stared at each other for a moment before, in the end, they both burst into laughter.
The truth was, Yan Yuzhou had been completely freaked out. As a straight man who had transmigrated into a novel, allowing Shen Ci to bite the back of his neck and mark him was already the furthest boundary he had ever mentally prepared himself for.
As for a complete bond mark and having children—those two things were like an absolute nightmare to him.
Yet despite all his dodging and hesitation, he still ended up being lured into Shen Ci’s net, devoured without even his bones left. He was just having trouble accepting it for the moment, so he made a fuss to vent. But now that he had let his emotions out, thinking back to everything that happened in the office… he actually felt a bit—nostalgic.
His face immediately flushed red.
In the end, the famished Yan Yuzhou was still “forcibly” pinned down by Shen Ci to have medicine applied. Then, as he watched Sister Song bring in plate after plate of enticing dishes, she shot him a teasing glance before leaving. Yan Yuzhou was so embarrassed he wanted to shrink into himself, but his stomach betrayed him with loud grumbles.
Just as he reached out for the chopsticks, Shen Ci gently blocked his hand, his voice filled with indulgence. “I’ll feed you.”
Yan Yuzhou wiggled his wrist and found that he really didn’t have much strength, so he simply let Shen Ci do as he pleased. Seeing how obedient he was, Shen Ci was beyond satisfied. He scooped up some food with a spoon and brought it to Yan Yuzhou’s lips. “Zhouzhou, open up.”
Yan Yuzhou’s face reddened again. Fine, Shen Ci was treating him like a child now.
Without realizing it, the entire meal passed in this quiet yet harmonious interaction. Shen Ci enthusiastically fed his little wife, as if he had found something incredibly amusing, enjoying it without the slightest trace of boredom.
In the end, as Shen Ci brought the spoon to his lips for the nth time, Yan Yuzhou shook his head vigorously. “No more. If I eat any more, I’ll turn into a pig.”
Shen Ci beamed brightly. “Eat a little more, baby. After all, you need energy if you want to… exercise.”
Yan Yuzhou: … What the hell!
